Rivers United FC 0 - 0 Enugu Rangers
Rivers United vs Enugu Rangers is going and they have played for about 45 minutes. And from the previous matches between these two teams, Rivers United FC won the Enugu Rangers. But in this match Rangers are playing very well but Rivers United still have goals attempt compare to their opponent. Football game is game signs and wonders. The first half is almost gone with 0-0. Probably one of the teams will do something in the second half of the match. I am still supporting Rivers United to win the game. Let me hear opinion on the on going NPFL: Group B.

I also agree that Rivers is the favorite but I am surprised about them just some days ago not being able to win at home in African Concacaf Cup,I don't know if I said it well but I mean the Champions League of African countries,they are still doing great in their group there though yet I was surprised seeing them not win that game.In here in the Nigerian league they are among the better teams and even if they don't win this game does not mean anything as overall they will be leading the league in their group,I see that in this league except a couple of teams the others are a bit far away,nevertheless an interesting league.

The match ended with 1-0 in favour of Rivers United. The match was really impressed and interested me. I just know that Rivers United would win the game. Almost all the match between R.U and E.R are won by R.U and from that record and the squad of RU is standard than ER.

In the local betting hall some people supported Enugu Rangers while others supported Rivers United. And at the end of the long argument and chanting with each other around hall, Rivers United supporters won the bet and argument ended with no fight. We know Nigerian things bon football, there is always argument. I am really happy for the match.

The goal scorers in the side of Niger Tornadoes are David Okoromi who scored the first goal while Jonas Emmanuel scored the second goal. Ekpe scored the 1 goal for Dakkada in the extra 4 minutes of the full match. Dakkada one yellow card while Niger T. 2.

Another poor first half by the home team. This is their seventh loss of the competition, leaving them Languishing at rock bottom. As for Tornadoes they continue their quest for a place in the championship play offs position. Now level on point with Sunshine stars and just four points behind the leaders Lobi stars is a great outing for the Ikon Allah Boys. Jonas with another winner again, this lad has been in a sensational form since joining the Tornadoes, if he Carries on like this he might land himself an European deal.

The away win will be a huge boost for Tornadoes because it is one thing that is most rare in the NPFL. I hope they replicate such display against relegation threatened Wikki Tourists.

It looks like it will go this way but from what I have seen from Nigerian Premier League is that surprise results here happen more commonly than in other leagues,in fact the few times I have bet on this league I have always lost money but I don't blame it,I blame me for not following this league that often.In fact I may follow your bet if the odd is good enough,it should be about 1.75 based on the positions you described these teams being on the table.I always like goals betting or both teams to score betting more than I like money lines so an over 2.5 goals can be a good bet since the Shooting Stars is performing poorly.

I’ve been around the gambling section for a while and i haven’t came across this thread i just decided to click on the 2nd page and i will say am shocked and at the same time happy to see a discussion thread of our very own NPFL and NNL football leagues. Nice thread OP @mate2237 our league needs to be promoted as well. My favorite team has always been Lobi stars which are currently having a great season and are top of the group B table with 3 points clear. I hope they go on to challenge for the trophy.

If we are football fans, of course we are no strangers and it's no wonder Nigeria gave birth to their best players and clubs, especially in the Nigeria Premier League.

We know that Nigeria has currently produced several world-famous soccer players, such as: John Obi, Nwanko Kanu, Yakubu, Martin, Mikel and many others who can be relied on for the Nigerian League's domestic competition as a whole, As I know the best clubs currently in Nigeria are: Enyimba, Akwa United, Nasarawa United, Kwara United, Kano Pillars and Lobby Star, I'm pretty sure some of the clubs I mentioned above will prove and be able to make Nigeria a country proud and give birth to players- that playerprofessionals in the Nigeria Premier League.

Nigeria also has several stadiums that can be relied on in the Nigeria Premier League tournament, such as the Sani Abacha, Akpabio, Enyimba stadiums and many others, to be honest I am also a fan of the Nigerian Premier League and also some of the players who are favorites in the world of football.

Some important Notice For all NPFL Fans ahead of the new season

1. The NPFL Best 11 from the new season will train and go on tour to play Spanish clubsides at the end of the season; i believe it will be extended to best squad (23 players)
2. NPFL clubsides are rounding up their Pre season tournament across the country.
3. Enyimba, Bendel Insurance & Remo Stars are the NPFL clubside in the CAF tournaments.
4. Only 7 NPFL Clubsides have a shirt sponsor.
5. The league schedule is yet to be released.

Its a new week and another opportunity to learn the latest about the Nigerian League and its clubsides. In caf competitions, Enyimba and Remo Stars are out of the CAF Champions league after the latter crashed out on penalties and the former; 4-3 on aggregate.

Meanwhile, Bendel Insurance has qualified to the next stages of the CAF Confederation cup after winning the penalty shout out against Aso Chief. Now only Rivers United and Bendel Insurance of the NPFL are left in the CAF Competitions for the new season.

Fun Fact; Bendel Insurance has lost just 3 games in their last 30 games keeping a cleansheet in 15 games and conceded 16 goals.

Just seeking to get an update about the current standing or if you anyone has a link to point me to where I can get the current updates on happenings in the Nigeria local leagues.

My point is that,  for the team that did not start well in their pre season matches,
 before the postponement will have the chances of making extra efforts to addressing their lapses just like I mentioned before,  and what motivated my comment is the fact that some clubs were already riding on a bad spot in the pre season games, before this postponements and if you look closely at this clubs,  not that their lack players but what you can see is that,  there is no proper integration of those players with each other and that was affecting their coordination during their friendly matches.

So the postponement will give the clubs enough time,  even though this development may not be favourable to all football fans but then this is not the first time games have been postponed so we must leave up with that.
