Why can it be called new hope because after the change of coach many doubted that Indonesia would rise again but with this narrow victory Indonesia still maintained its chances of qualifying for the World Cup still wide open. This victory placed Indonesia in fourth place in the standings for the third qualifying round. With a gap that can still be caught up, Indonesia's chances of advancing to the next round are still maintained. Against China I think Kluivert must re-implement this strategy, because all the games in the previous matches were very good. Maybe for a small note when playing against China in the next match, the players must be calmer and more mature in seeing opportunities because Indonesia often loses touch and finishing. The last I checked Indonesia's recent win has indeed brought them crucial points, but to me I still have this feelings that it's still uncertain for them if it will enough to just secure a playoff spot for the world cup it might boost their chances of winning, their victories against a direct opponent is a significant boost, but unfortunately it doesn't guarantee direct qualification.

Japan in Asia is like Argentina or Brazil in South America CONMEBOL. They are a classic team which qualify to the World Cup and a favourite team to win Asian competitions. Otherwise there is Saudi Arabia that is another good team in Asia and from time to time another Arabian team pop and fade, whether it was Iraq or Qatar or Bahrain, they don't last long.

Indonesia's win against Bahrain means a lot. It gives them extra life to survive. They were on the crisis after they went down against Australia due to the change of coach at the middle of qualification, which is weird to see that. Their performance seem blatantly bad against Australia, but multple times better against Bahrain.

They got a few times chance to scored, but lack of proper finishing are their main problems. They still have chance to get into the third position as long as they can beat China soon.
