Germany was actually trailing Slovakia 1-0. I hoped Germany would win because I had bet on them.

The first half was pretty bad in terms of chances, while Slovakia managed to score 1 goal. In the second half, I hoped the tide would turn and Germany would win. Although the chances of winning were still slim, I hoped Germany would increase their attacking aggression.

I didn't expect that Slovakia will win Germany with 2:0 because we know that Germany has a more experienced squad than Slovakia but i was shocked when they scored in the first half but i was hoping for a comeback from Germany in the second half but unfortunately Slovakia extended the lead to 2:0 and the match ended in that score. I don't even know that Florian Witz is even doing because contrary to what we expected of him when he signed for Liverpool, he is not doing a good job as an attacking midfielder both for Liverpool and his national team Germany. Nick Woltemade is just a wasteful attacker, even in his club Newcastle he couldn't perform so am not surprised that he is also unproductive to his country Germany, such a bad loss for Germany.

I favored several national teams in the fifth match of the European World Cup qualifying round. And I only failed in the Slovakia vs. Germany match. It seems I had too high expectations for Germany. But I was quite satisfied with the other national teams, especially Spain, who also managed to win, as expected from them, who were sure to beat Bulgaria.

I was really nervous while watching the Georgia-Türkiye match. Because we could have finished it easily while it was 3-0. But we chose to make it more difficult for us. That was such an unnecessary red card which just gave Georgia the dominance in the remaining part.

Thankfully we still won by 3-2 at the end. But I don't have any idea about what we will do against Spain this Sunday. We are going to play at home but it is still a really hard match. We are most likely to move on with playoffs.

Just when Turkey could have made a historic lead, the red card changed the course of the match.

In my perspective, If I were to be Argentina Lionel Messi, I will have retired with the record achievement he has so far in the last world cup competition which he lifted the cup, and with that trophy honor and reputation, he has done quite well. But nevertheless, things can go his direction and Argentina break record and the world cup back to back.

I also wanted the same thing for Lionel Messi. He has paid his good due to the country's progress in the last tournament.  I also thought he was going to resign and hang his boot after the last outing which was for me a good way to retire from the international games while he also start planning on how he will transition from the position of a player to the position of the manager of clubs and the national team

What a surprise match between Germany and Slovakia! I was very shocked after I saw their results at the end of the game that Slovakia defeated Germany with 2 goals without a single equalizer. That was disappointing. Imagine the all of Germany cannot win against common Slovakia, whose performance is not that good, but they successfully win against Germany, and the funny part is, despite all the pressure they put on Slovakia in both the first half and the second half, they find them difficult to win against.

Germany only dominated the ball possession, and that’s the only thing they achieved in the game. Slovakia really came prepared well for the match; that’s why even the way they built their defense was far different from Germany. They thought they would find the match very easy to win, but it was later beyond their expectations.

Slovakia's second goal --- was Rudiger's defense that bad? He played poorly, his defense was weak, and it seemed like the German national team had lost its solidity, and this was a surprising defeat.

Florian Wirtz couldn't help much here; they just stood there, not reacting much at least that's my opinion of this match, or maybe it was Germany's fault for not being able to win this match?

These games brought us many surprises. I had thought about betting on Germany to win, but then I saw the odds and immediately became very suspicious. I started wondering why the bookmakers weren't offering odds like @1.18 for Germany. So I started thinking about the possibility that the opponent was doing well

Slovakia wasn't the favorite in that encounter but as the host they prepared themselves knowing fully well that their opponent isn't the type to allow any space to be open, the Slovakia defense was ok and I still wonder why does it have to be Germany? Seeing the fixture at first I had already said they [Germany] are going to get a cheap 3pt but it came as a big surprise to them and to me as well, 2nil without reply, this is going to be a warning and the manager should do something to get back in their next game.

You see some of these bigger countries who play against the smaller ones, they forget that they are always falling into a trap of the smaller ones. Poland was terrible tonight, like they couldn't hold the ball for just 20 seconds, it was the Netherlands who was running and making the game too hard for their opponent, they should have gotten more than 1 goal with how they press the Polish national side but they were too comfortable with what they have like the game was over and the visitors had to wait till the 80mins to strike, Cash is their new hero.

For me I think he certainly will be retiring after this World Cup and sincerely with him in the squad this Argentina team look very much the favorite to win it.

I personally though do not want them to win it because this time around I am rooting for Portugal because of Ronaldo and also this golden generation. This current star studded Portugal team need to win something huge so they are not like the Belgium golden generation that didn’t win anything

Spain, undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with, was drawn in Group E. Their opponents were Turkey, Georgia, and Bulgaria, and Spain was sure to advance.

This time, Bulgaria was immediately defeated by Spain, 0-3. Oyarzabal's goal came in the 5th minute. He was followed by goals from Cucurella (30') and finally Mikel Merino (38'), completing the three-goal.

Ronaldo with Portugal won the Euro Cup back in 2016 (despite the fact that he got injured very early in the match) and then 2 Nations Cup which maybe is not the best tournament in the world but yet, a trophy is a trophy. So I don't think we can put on the same level Portugal and Belgium, the latter is the real disappointment.

I am very sure Messi would make the list of the first 11 in their national team for the world cup. One thing that people still don't understand is that as long as CR7 is still active on the pitch, Messi wouldn't want to retire moreover, he's even younger than Ronaldo so why would he want to retire before him. Even though that he has achieved all he needed to achieve and crowning it all with the world cup trophy, he could retire from the national team honourably this time without getting soiled and be celebrated for it. But Messi still seems to enjoy being on the pitch and as long as he still wishes to play, he would always have his place in the national team. I never expected Ronaldo to make it to their world cup list but guess what, he became the first to be selected unofficially. As a legend, your record speaks and no matter how old you become, coaches would want you in their team to serve as motivation to help younger players.

Unbelievable Germany national team have lost by Slovakia at World Cup Qualifier match, Germany team in Group A of World Cup Qualifier actually not any difficult opponent teams. But defeated at first match will make difficult for qualifying to World Cup 2026 if can't improve team performance at upcoming match, games statistic last night not really dominance for Germany national team except ball possession because Slovakia have created 5 shots on target than Germany made 4 shots on target.
Next match, Germany will face Northern Ireland and its important match how to get confidence back if can get three points, last match Northern Ireland get the victory after defeating Luxembourg.
