I was really shocked after know Germany lost by 2 goals and I don't think Slovakia can play that aggressively, you know i bet on Germany after they conceded 1 goal thought they had equaliz the score but unfortunately conceded again   I feel trapped. Basically Germany can dominate the match with more shooting attempts in fact all the rest is in vain. Here I have to admit that Slovakia has a good mentality, they can play consistently throughout the match also play without burden.

Germany played very weakly in attack, and their defense also was not the best. Nagelsmann is trying to refresh the squad, but his experiment has not yet brought the expected result. Slovakia are not the most difficult opponent, but they did not give the ball away to Germany, the game was equal, maybe the reason was that it was an away match, but I did not expect Germany to lose. The Netherlands at home also could not beat Poland, and considering that Poland have recently been in poor form, I did not think they were capable of getting a draw.

Brazil finally showed some real football against Chile and won 3x0 with a beautiful game from Luiz Henrique. A goal from Estevão and Paquetá playing very well even after the scadal with the possible matching fixing on the Premier League. I hope they remain form and can keep playing well so Brazil can go back to the glory days.

If you look at him even at this is age he is still very much important to the Argentina national team, we all thought they would have it as their last dance just like we saw Angel Dimaria did but Messi might be looking at cementing his legacy more, winning a second World Cup will simply place far ahead of his rivals on the greatest of all time log. For me I think he certainly will be retiring after this World Cup and sincerely with him in the squad this Argentina team look very much the favorite to win it.

He was always necessary because we saw that the Argentine team prioritized him first, currently this experienced player has scored twice against Venezuela.So he may still be showing that he will always be there among the fans because his style of play is also unique through this match, he was able to prove himself once again. We saw this player come into the spotlight completely in his last World Cup qualifier in Argentina as he captured everyone's attention with his performance alone.

I personally though do not want them to win it because this time around I am rooting for Portugal because of Ronaldo and also this golden generation. This current star studded Portugal team need to win something huge so they are not like the Belgium golden generation that didn’t win anything

We are currently seeing a few more such potential star-studded teams but it is true that Portugal is far ahead this season because of certain players in their team who are currently performing well in the league. Even then, lifting the World Cup trophy will be the most challenging and arduous task for the Portuguese, so I think other parties will be as powerful as them.

The fourth round of AFC qualifiers will start next month, with six teams in fray. Top two teams will gain entry to then 2026 FIFA World Cup, while others will compete in the 5th round for an entry to the inter-confederation playoffs. Oman, United Arab Emirates and Qatar are placed in Group A, while Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Indonesia will play against each other in Group B. The most important thing to note here is that each team will play only 2 matches and all the matches will be hosted at one venue. The favorite of our group is Spain, so we must do everything we can to secure 2nd place, which means we have to win all of our matches against Georgia and Bulgaria.

The group was all about who get to play the play offs. Spain is surely going to be the group leader and gets direct ticket to the world cup. It's the fight for the 2nd place that's important and Turkey and Georgia are competing for it. Bulgaria is also there but its chances are low.
Turkey and Georgia are playing two matches with each other home and way, Turkey won the away game so its more likely that they'd also win the home game putting them on the play-off round where they get another chance at qualifying for the world cup while the team that are 3rd or 4th would be be eliminated from the qualification process.

I understand Germany didn't play with their best players because some of them are injured e.g. Musiala, Havertz, and Ter Stegen, two great players that not called by Nagelsmann e.g. Leroy Sane, Gundongan and Pavlovic. But they lost without score any goal is really shameful, current Germany squad looks bad in every position.

Martin Dubravka actually ever played for Manchester United, unfortunately he joined when De Gea was still with Manchester United, so we don't see his performance. If he joined in this season, he should be the main goalkeeper.

Staying safe about the Georgia - Türkiye game made me win.    However I must admit I was nervous to see Georgia that ineffective in the first half. Türkiye could have really finished it without conceding a goal normally.


No surprise happened in the game between Argentina and Venezuela. Even though the home side was really comfortable in the group, they didn't look complacent. A pure domination...

Messi scored 2 goals in his final national game of his career. A really good finish by him, an end of an era.

I still want some cautious because it was just a game against Chile which was last in the group, but Brazil was losing or playing very poorly against most weak teams like 1-1 versus Venezuela and a draw against Ecuador. I like more the football I saw yesterday and I believe Ancelotti can do magic to make Brazil change from water to wine. I just hope the players work hard because the famous they have in Brazil now is that they just want fame and partying, with no love to the shirt they wear.

I agree whe need to give them some time, but I was almost giving up for the Brazil national team, so a better team play game was enough to get some higher hopes that Ancelotti will manage to change the scenario the team was going to.

Crazy, gentlemen, i would never have bet on Slovakia being able to beat the German tank, this says a lot about the health of the "big" national teams or those that in theory should be the leaders.
It promises to be a special World Championship.

I'm wondering what's wrong with Germany. They played like a mediocre club against Slovakia. Obviously, one of Germany's worst performance. Their attackers were crap. Their mid disappear and not helping to defense. Their backs are standing alone on the pitch.

We have been seeing such a bad performance from germany for a long time. Even when we were  able to win a match, we saw them fight hard. Germany's performance against SLovakia was very disappointing. Many gamblers  had bet on Germany winning. But Germany lost 2 - 0. Germany's players  dominated the match with 70 % ball possession. Despite having  a total of 14 shots, they were not able to score a single goal. This is really sad. We did not expect to see such a bad performance from a giant team like Germany.
