Recently, they posted the Brazilian national team's second jersey. In a dark blue tone. A totally new and modern design. What did you think of this new jersey and what do you think of the national team jerseys in general? Do you think they are differentiating themselves or is everything the same? I believe there could be record sales for the national teams going to the World Cup.

It was kind of boring to see them in the yellow/green jersey all the time. The new colors are a welcome change and it really looks good. But how often will they use this particular jersey during the 2026 FIFA World Cup? From what I heard, this will be their 2nd jersey (therefore not the first preference). In Group C, along with Brazil we have the following teams - Morocco, Haiti and Scotland. Does anyone know in which of the group phase matches the blue jersey will be used? Their first match will be against Morocco, at the MetLife Stadium in New York and that will take place on 13th June.

I don't understand. Why can't they use the second jersey against Morocco? One team playing in red and the other in blue makes sense for me. Remember that they struggled during the early rounds of the CONMEBOL qualifiers. At around mid-point, they were at the 6th position. Later they improved the standings and managed to qualify for the FIFA World Cup of 2026. And they are being placed in a difficult group this time. The target of Trump is the military in Iran and if Iran is sending their National Team to the world cup, they will send their own security personnels for the trip. And if Trump notice that, things might not go well there again. So with all those calculations, Iran too will not allow his football team to go there. But they might go to the other hosting countries to play if FIFA arrange everything well for them. If all the Iran games will be played in the Canada and Mexico.

Its bad ideas if any national team have sent their own security so what the responsibility from FIFA and the host country protecting all teams participants and the fans travelling there. I can't believing what statement from Donald Trump recently about the Iran national team allow come to World Cup but he not guarantee about their security exactly all host of World Cup must giving more security for the player and official teams.

Because yellow against red has a better chromatic contrast than blue against red. I don't know what matches Brazil recently played against teams wearing a red jersey but I do remember that during France 1998 they played against Norway, and both teams were wearing their first jerseys as you can see in this image:

by logic and also by rule you use the shirt you have at home and whoever is at home has to manage it, the teams know well that there will be other teams that will have particular shirts and they will take care of it, clearly this is a moment where there are many new national teams with particular outfits and i think that this needs to be managed

Imagine a country withdraw themselves due to the ongoing conflict happened in their country. Yet, they potentially to be pinalized by FIFA if they are withdrawing themselves from World Cup 2026. If they really get a ban by FIFA after their country bombed. I have no word for FIFA other than "disgusting".
If it's happening, i'm sure this World Cup is gonna be absolute joke.

I understand FIFA rules forces team to play in the spot that they earned. However, it's kinda weird if FIFA keeps force them to play when their country is under serious conflict. At this point i think FIFA is only wanting to impose them fines. 

The President of the host nation has said that the security of the Iranian football national team and its officials is not guaranteed. FIFA wants these players to go and risk their lives in a nation that is an enemy. Can FIFA guarantee the security of these patriotic Iranians?  FIFA would prove that it is biased if Iran is sanctioned for withdrawing from the competition. If any country deserves a sanction, it should be the US for making it difficult for people to enjoy the World Cup.   

I believe FIFA can't guarantee their safety. The better to always expect the worst outcome to happen. I saw infanfino said Trump would welcome Iran's participation in WC, but it's totally opposite with how Trump was threatening Iran. So, it's best to put team's safety first instead of to follow their ego to participate in WC.
We always remember we always life once. So no reason to risking our life to play in the competition hosted by enemy. Who knows there might be a plan to kidnap Iran's football team.

I keep saying it that Iran should avoid going to that world cup because of what has happened, and the US president saying that their safety can't be guaranteed. I wouldn't want to blame the president for saying that, but that was the honest truth. The president or the security personnel can't always be there at all time for Iranian players and their supporters. They should just avoid the world cup and face any possible sanctions that may come their way. If I'm an Iranian player or supporter, I won't go to a tournament that I have been told that my safety is not guaranteed.

OK.. got it now. In that case there is no chance to watch Brazil in their blue jersey, at least during the group phase. Also, noticed that Haiti is placed in the same group as Brazil. This is going to be their second FIFA World Cup (the last time they qualified was back in 1974). Currently they are ranked 83 by FIFA, so the match maybe pretty one-sided. Even then, I have never watched Brazil playing against Haiti. Overall, these two teams have played against each other a total of three times. The first was in 1974, when Brazil won by a margin of 4-0. Last time when they met (2016), Brazil won by a margin of 7-1.

I think that's unfair, because if we're talking about victims, everyone has victims. If we're talking about attacks, both sides are also attacking each other. I don't condone what Iran did, but on the other hand, is the US in the right here? No, this is war.

It's a shame this World Cup has been marred by such bitterness. A competition that should have brought many people together has instead turned into a war, which ultimately has an impact on football. FIFA, as the organizer, has yet to take any significant action.

For me I feel he could have still called Neymar to their squad list. Even though he doesn't play much at least he will be a good utility player. The last world cup, Neymar was super fantastic and on best among the squad. This Brazil team needs a leader, look at Argentina and Portugal they added their best players to the upcoming world cup. I saw Andy Santo on list and I was wondering, whether he is even as good as Neymar. Ancelotti should rethink this , Neymar is a great player. About Andrey Santos, he's a promising and talented midfielder, but he's still developing and isn't a regular starter at Chelsea, which currently has many quality options in midfield. This doesn't mean he lacks potential, but he's nowhere near Neymar at this stage of his career.

It is not just the safety of players. Look at what happened during the AFC Women's Asia Cup which was hosted by Australia. Initially Australia gave asylum to 7 of the Iranian women players, but so far 5 of them have turned it down. Still Australia and their NATO allies has used this for their propaganda.
