I think Belgium are favourites against Egypt, and we can certainly say they should win. We already know that both teams’ attacking lines are made up of quality players, and I reckon there’s a high chance this match will be a high-scoring affair. In particular, it seems likely that Salah or Trezeguet will score for Egypt in this match. For Belgium, Doku or Bruyne could find the net. Belgium should comfortably top the group. For me, Australia's win over Turkey was a complete shock. Australian clubs didn't exactly shine at the last Club World Cup, so I thought Turkey would win easily. I quite disagree with you that Australia didn't shine in the 2022 World Cup that was held in Qatar because they have the same point with France in group D of the 2022 World Cup but France finished as the leader of group D with goal difference while Australia finished second. Australia reached round of 16 in the 2022 World Cup but they were knocked out of the 2022 World Cup by Argentina. I didn't expect an easy win from Turkey against Australia, and even as Australia won Turkish 2-0 I wasn't surprised because they have what it takes to win Turkey.

Sweden must beat Tunisia. Of course, Sweden are the favourites, but Tunisia also have a good chance of picking up points from this match. Sweden’s defence isn’t particularly reassuring, but their attack features some truly key players.
With an attacking line-up featuring Elanga, Gyökeres and Isak, I don’t think there’s any chance this team won’t score in this match. Sweden will certainly find the net against Tunisia.

The brazil vs. Morocco match has now concluded, and I found it to be very exciting and entertaining. Both teams played well and competed closely. Unfortunately, Morocco and Brazil only managed to get one point each, as the match ended in a 1-1 draw. The highlight for Brazil was Vinicius, who was the hero for Brazil, scoring one goal against Morocco. I really liked Vinicius' performance and style when he scored that goal against Morocco For Morocco, the hero was certainly Saibari, who was able to capitalize on the opportunity well and finally scored a beautiful goal against Brazil. But if the Brazilian defenders hadn't been careless, that goal might not have happened. Now, Brazil is temporarily forced to rank third in Group C, and Ancelotti certainly needs to develop a better strategy for the upcoming match, because if they don't win, Brazil might not advance to the next stage

However, I found that match to be unique because Raphinha and Vinicius played together, even though they competed for La Liga at different clubs. I thought Brazil would win, but Morocco proved to be truly impressive, and they played well. Ultimately, I lost my bet on this match

In this match it is difficult to predict which team will win as the both teams have quality players. We can't be sure if Belgium will win because  in their previous friendly encounter, Egypt defeated Belgium 2-1  and Belgium too has defeated Egypt 3-0. However these game were friendly matches,it could be that Belgium didn't play with seriousness which is why Egypt had a chance to defeat them. I think this match would be tough because this is world cup and not a friendly,the both team will be serious and would be aiming for a win. We haven't seen these teams playing against each other in a  competition like this one before so we don't know what Egypt could do to Belgium yet or what Belgium could do to Egypt.

Germany will face Curaçao today in their first group stage match. While Curaçao might have a chance to earn points in this group, I don’t think they’ll be able to take points off Germany. Germany will comfortably defeat their opponent and secure the three points. In their friendly matches, Curaçao lost 4-1 to Scotland but won 4-0 in their other match. Germany also finished their friendly matches with two wins. It seems likely that Germany will score two or more goals against their opponent.

It’s not even suppose to be a debate we all know that Germany is gonna win. Their starting eleven is lethal. I expect them to demolish Curaçao 3:0 atleast or 4:1.

Belgium's squad is very strong. But the  opponent Egypt is not weak. De Bruyne, Dokuv , onana and trossard are all very talented. Belgium's attack is strong, there is no doubt about that. But Egypt's squad also has players like Salah and Marmoush. So it will not  easy for Belgium to secure 3 points in the match.

These two teams faced each other in a friendly match in 2022 . Egypt won the match 2-1. Despite Belgium's squad being quite  strong, they lost. But  it was a friendly match. Belgium's players will definitely  play more seriously in the World Cup. I would consider belgium as the favorite. They have a high chance of winning.

We are the one over hyping this Brazilian team, because as far as am concern, their is nothing special about them. Long gone are the days when Brazilian team were very good on international stage, now they are not as good as they are used to be, and if they continue like this, they will not be able to beat other top teams like Portugal, France, Argentina, England and Spain.
The Moroccan team did well, but I don't see them as the best in Africa, we have not watched Senegal and ivory coast play, because those two teams are top teams that I believe they are better than this Moroccan team that has changed the manager that took them to the world cup semi final and the last afcon finals, so I don't see them as the best just yet until Senegal and Ivory Coast play their own game.

Morocco looks more like an organized team than Brazil, and I must say that Brazils midfield is terrible the way they were playing is something awkward that I didn’t understand their playing style myself, but this two teams are going to qualify from the group stages.

I quite agree with you that Morocco is the best team in Africa for the time being but they aren't the African champions, because Senegal was the country that won the 2025/2026 African Cup of Nations tournament, even as Morocco aren't the African champions, I don't expect Brazil to comfortably win them because Brazil's performance has deteriorated they no longer perform like the Brazil that has five World Cup to their name, so I wasn't surprised they couldn't defeat Morocco in their first match of the 2026 World Cup final tournament.

With the kind of team they had in the 2022 World Cup, reaching the round of 16 is enough to compliment them or was he expecting that they'll kick the mighty Argentina team back then out of that stage before he'll accept that they did well? I also disagree with the saying that they didn't shine in the last World Cup cause Messi was very eager to win that trophy and Australia didn't have the squad capable of stopping him and his teammates.

yes, Australia has a biting, athletic and physical style of play with hard tackles. it really doesn't suit Turkey. ok they are lacking in terms of talent but physically superior. Because of their playstyle, they were a problematic opponent for Turkey and exactly what i expected happened. they beat Turkey.

Exactly my sentiment, I don't know where @Jostern got the information from that Morocco is African champions, or didn't he watch the African nation cup finals to know who the current champions are, I don't think I will want to go into that drama with anyone because what has been happening with CAF is only a drama that's been watched by the whole world but I won't want to discuss that here, Morocco performance against Brazil is top-notch, what you spotted on is just the fact, brasil performance has really dropped drastically, they are no longer a threat to any team, to be honest this match is the only match I enjoyed since the FIFA world cup tournament started, both teams showed a high level of seriousness and I think that's how a competition like this ought to be.

Brazil was lucky enough they were not losing. Their overall performance was terrible compared to the Morocco. The good part was Morocco left up a small space for Vini to shoots. If Morocco defenders were doing a bit better. I believe Brazil would lose that game.

So this is also marking that being the top of football men rank doesn't guarantee them to win the game easily. I still see so many problems especially on their midfielders. Their current performance is reminding me with the way they played during CONMEBOL.

The third day of the World Cup had a few surprising results, with Switzerland held by Qatar in injury time while Morocco held Brazil through their best game on the ground. Australia shocks Turkey. This was a big upset because on papers Turkey was looking like the much better side, but Australia had a good day and won this game with a score of 2-0.

Today Germany will start their campaign against Curacao, while the Netherlands will be entertaining Japan. This game is going to be interesting. The Netherlands is looking strong, but in the last few games Japan is also playing good soccer, and things are looking like this game will have good soccer to watch. Ivory Coast vs. Ecuador is also going to be a balanced game, with most chances; a draw is looking like the best option.

Jostern watched the African Cup of Nations final between Senegal and Morocco and he knows very well that Senegal won the 2025/2026 African Cup of Nations but he's not seeing Senegal as African champions since they walk out of the pitch when the final was still on. Morocco is a great team. Brazil probably underestimated this team. Brazil's performance in this match surprised me a lot. From the beginning of the match we saw the dominance of the Moroccan players. Brazil should have dominated this match and won. But they could not create such a strong chance. I am sure the brazilian fans are also very upset. Brazil is considered one of the contenders for this world cup. But with such a performance they will  not be able to reach the semi-finals. Also, it is not surprising that morocco is at the top of the table in group c. Morocco has this ability.
