So far, I feel like the only African team that has looked a bit below expectations in this World Cup is South Africa. The rest have shown real commitment, fighting spirit and the desire to prove that they belong on this stage. Just look at Morocco holding Brazil to a draw, Senegal going toe to toe with France despite the result, Egypt getting a draw against Belgium, DR Congo drawing Portugal, Ghana picking up a win and Cape Verde holding Spain. Too bad they didn't lose against Congo, I love to watch these small nations fight and push those supposedly bigger nations towards the brink of total failure.

I regret the immaturity of the fans when they blamed the players for their failure in the first match. They shouldn't have looked for scapegoats for the draw they got in that match. This is a very natural thing in football, and they should also see how good the defense built by Congo.

As for Ronaldo, they should have seen that he was always heavily guarded and that made his movements difficult. They should also remember that the current Ronaldo is not the young Ronaldo who can do individual actions to create chances.

They can't blame other players because other players will also look at other options to create chances when they get their attackers heavily guarded.

What a game and the way it is Australia have lost the game already because they will find it very hard for them to just win this game and Australia defense is not even firm enough and the way they are doing I just know that they will find it hard to win against the usa because just 11 minutes of the game usa already scored a goal and that is even more than enough to encourage them and even from the ball possession there is a big difference in the game so it seem to be hopeless for Australia and it was a good game that is what we all think that there will be recovery but nothing like that happened.

USA is indeed doing very well as a host nation just like Mexico is also doing as cohost. Because the way they trashed Paraguay in their first match I placed a single bet of over 2.5 at 2.25 odd which is pretty big. First half they got 2 goals already and I was excited that my bet was going to materialize, unfortunately, the second half is ending and the score still remains 2-0 which has put my bet at risk of being lost. I don't actually think you watched that game, because that tackle was reckless and if I was the referee I would have definitely given that tackle a clear red card but just like you have said it all, we all know that the referee are holding back because of the respect or probably because of how much influence the man has in the level of football because trust me am very sure that if that tackle was done by anyone in that game rather than Messi trust me a Red card would have been the call.

Well, we already have the first team to qualify: Mexico, who, with 6 points, have secured a place in the round of 16.
Canada and Switzerland are both virtually through; a draw in their head-to-head match would be enough. A real stunner, just like the one pulled off against Italy many years ago in the European Championship.
Tonight, I expect the USA to secure their place in the round of 16 as well.

We can see that Mexico has become the first team to advance to the knockout stages of the 2026 World Cup, however it seems that Mexico took advantage of a mistake by the South Korean goalkeeper to win the game. However in the previous match in Group A, South Korea played very well against the Czech Republic and I noticed that they won that match but against Mexico they suddenly lost their rhythm and lost the match,Mexico currently has six points and South Korea has three points, Mexico has won back-to-back matches, so it seems to me they will win their next match against the Czech Republic.

South Korea simply need to avoid defeat against South Africa and they too could qualify for the knockout stages.
Thanks to their victory over the Czech Republic, they have a huge advantage in the standings should the two teams finish level on points, but I’m convinced they’ll beat South Africa.
