You just have to admit, Spain was definitely a cut above today, and the win was never really in danger. Maybe if Austria had managed to score the goal to make it 2-1 with a bit of luck, Spain might have started to ease up a little, but I don't think even then, Spain would have just turned up the pressure even more. Still, it was a strong performance by Spain, let's see how far they go in the tournament.

Cape Verde are the new  to this World Cup. They have not lost to any team in the group stage yet. It seems surprising to me that you call them a weak team. It must have been no accident that they drew with Spain in the first match, then Uruguay in the second match and Saudi Arabia in the third match.

Their performance doesn’t like their new to this World Cup. I’m very impressed with their performances, because none expecting that their performances will very strong the way they are performing currently; they played well against strong teams without any challenges anybody that call Cape Verde a weak he has never watch their games they’ve played so far.

Some are predicting that Cape Verde will win against Argentina but it depends on how they play on the day. Cape Verde are a strong team, especially in this World Cup. With their currently performances I also hope that they will win against Argentina, they most use the same pattern of their playing in order to get victory over Argentina tomorrow; because their performance is enough to me to predict that Cape Verde will bring out a positive result in their tomorrow match.

In my opinion, Bosnia isn't as weak a team as you make it out to be. They defeated Italy and even if Italy isn't currently at its former strength, the name “Italy” alone is enough to strike fear into other nations.

I think the fact that the U.S. was able to win 2-0 without conceding a goal is a strong performance from their team!

Since the United States won Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-0 that's why Black Mbaye is seeing Bosnia and Herzegovina as a team. Bosnia and Herzegovina played better than the United States they were just unlucky not to win the United States. Representing Europe in the World Cup  isn't easy, so Bosnia and Herzegovina isn't a weak team.

Exactly you can’t possibly match Spain to Australia. Spain over dominated looking out form their control of possession, pressing, and defensive they gave Austria hard time and almost no room to come out with anything meaningful. Keeping another clean sheet after limiting Austria to no shots on target shows how good Spain has been train this past years and Spain vs. Portugal clash will actually be one of the most exciting matches in this tournament because the both teams have plenty of quality, so to me I would see the game as a test to see whether Spain can maintain their defensive as they did with Australia.

This might just be one of their best performance yet. Like we all know, they tend to show complete lack of potential in front of a team that holds a good defense. Just as we saw in the case of Cape Verde, Spain with all its fore power was useless.
They played better against Austria today, their goals were carefully worked and that assist from Cucurella was almost out of this world, curving the ball from that distance to get to Oyarzabal, getting a brace in this game and Spain still kept a clean sheet.

I've just watched highlights of Mexico Vs Ecuador and Mexico looked really good. I'm not sure whether it's the home advantage, but I think they are exceeding their own expectations.
The 2-0 win was their first win in the knockout stage in 40 years, and they made it look easy. Ecuador also had some good chances but they were no match for the host team.
Mexico and Spain are the only two teams that haven't conceded a single goal in all of their 4 games so far.

It only gets more tougher for Spain after every stage they’ve passed through onto the next one. Croatia is no longer as strong as it used to be. They don't have the same quality squad as before. Even reaching this stage is an achievement for them. Portugal, on the other hand, has a squad with players who have even won the Champions League. Therefore, on paper, Portugal is much stronger, but we're talking about a Croatia that gave England a hard time. I think we'll see both teams being very determined in this match.

3-0 looks heavy but Spain really decimated the Austrian team and my lord was this Austrian goalie was just magnificent, the score didn't really reflect the expected amount of goals if not for those brilliant saves, he made Yamal feel like he had a bad game when In fact he balled.

Kudos to Real Madrid as they have signed an exceptional Left Back in Cucurella as he showed every body how an attacking fullback should play

It was a shocking performance against Cape Verde and everyone lost money on that match. However, they improved considerably against Saudi Arabia and that win kept the momentum going. As for Austria, I was in two minds whether to completely trust them or expect them to revert to their ultra defensive style.

The match was surprising because they were attacking from the start. I expected Spain to stay back and defend in the second half, but they kept on pressing the Austrian defense and continued to attacking.

Now it is time to wait for Portugal-Croatia. I expect a close match and I wonder if Ronaldo will be a starter again.

Spain was my favorite to win the tournament at the start, though the football they played in the group stage had raised some doubts in my mind; however, after seeing them dominate the match against Austria from start to finish today, Spain is once again my pick for the title.
Spain is playing better as time goes on.
The move to Real Madrid has really benefited Cucurella; he provided two assists today. His second assist, in particular, was excellent.
Spain played very well. Yamal is steadily improving after his injury, though we haven't yet seen the same Yamal we see at Barcelona.

It was an enjoyable and comfortable match for Spain. Austria didn't pose much of a threat. Spain dominated possession throughout the game. Furthermore, Spain's young and talented players will continue to pose a threat in the later stages of the match. They are particularly fortunate to have a player like Lamine Yamal. Lamine Yamal wasn't at his best in this game because the goalkeeper saved several opportunities, but if he's a little luckier in the next match, he could score.
