It looks like a random sort of game. It’s funny that, historically, Norway wins more often in this matchup (actually, Brazil hasn't won anything at all so far.). Given that both teams have potent attacks, one might expect... well, actually, you shouldn't expect anything, that very attacking strength could just as easily lead to a tight, defensive game and a scoreless draw maybe the score will be 3–3 the other way around - who knows? Yesterday, too, everyone expected a spectacular match between France and Paraguay, but the final score turned out to be very modest.

I think Norway is likely to win this match. Brazil is certainly a team that’s always respected because they also have a deep roster filled with stars. But Norway is truly different. I mean, Norway always seems to have greater passion or motivation to win. i think Haaland and his teammates also have a very high level of confidence. Even though this is Haaland’s first World Cup, he really looks like a seasoned veteran.

The match is sure to be intense, but I’m still expecting Norway to win.

A job well done by Morocco as they keep making Africa proud, they executed the game without losing focus that even when they were winning they still kept pushing for more goals in the Canadians goal post court. Now is officially that one of the host countries has being shut out of the tournament. Congratulations to Morocco and it shouldn't just stop at this stage but to the finals I hope to see them.

Next game for tonight is France Vs Paraguay. That's a strong game am waiting to see and should France win that game then it's a sure banger that we would be seeing them in the World Cup final again.

This is Canada’s best run at the World Cup so far, so it’s still something for them. Morocco is on a rise and they play so well. They’ve been carrying the candle for the African Nations since the last World Cup. An incredible performance they delivered today in the second half. The first half had Canada playing better but didn’t take their chances, Moroccos first shot on target was their first goal, very clinical.
Their next game probably against France, it’ll be another exciting game.

As the matchup against Norway v Brazil, I agree with you that it looks like a good goal scoring game but anything can happen and they can still draw up 1-1. But one thing for a fact is that Norway defense is trash at the moment as opposed to how strong Brazil defense is with Gabriel Jesus present there.

Base on the potential players Brazil brought to this FIFA world cup tournament, I don't think they will escape from the hands of Brazil in this game, because they will do everything possible within their knowledge to ensure they beat Norway 3:0 to move to the next level in the FIFA world cup tournament. Brazil defenders I know very well, they will not going to allow Haaland and other strikers to do what made them to reach this stage, because Brazil have potential defenders that will block Norway strikers not to have access to their goalpost till the end of the game.

I don't think I will mistake to bet for the favour of Norway to beat Brazil on this game, because Brazil have players that will make their fans happy base on what they will do to their opponent to loose in this game.

All of us have our own favorites and what you said is not wrong because if Norway qualifies then the world cup will be more interesting because it is possible that there will be other surprises but in this match I am more realistic in choosing the team that qualifies because I think Brazil has very high motivation with their new coach now and also overall Brazil's strength is better than Norway so I believe Brazil will qualify for the next round.

I also found the refereeing very strange. the Paraguayan players who had been sneakily attacking the French for almost the entire match ultimately didn't receive a single yellow card while the French team received three. I think this referee Tantashev from Uzbekistan shouldn't be officiating matches of this level. a normal referee would have shown several Paraguayan players yellow cards or even sent one of them off.

Norway’s defense isn’t actually as strong as Brazil’s. However, Norway makes up for this weakness with their excellent offense. Brazil, on the other hand, is actually quite balanced, their offense is strong, and so is their defense. It’s just that sometimes, when this team comes under pressure, they tend to falter. I remember in the match against Japan, we saw Brazil’s weakness, they sometimes lose the ball too quickly. Time and again, Japanese players stole the ball directly from Brazilian players. And I think Norway also has a chance to do the same against Brazil. But since this is the Round of 16, both teams will certainly play more cautiously. Usually, we’d expect a lot of goals, but I’m not so sure about this match.

Ilgiz Tantashev seems booked with all of his weird decision. It's so absurd to see he gave nothing to Paraguay when Paraguay players did seriuos fouls to the France players too. So i can now rate him as the worst reff ever hired to lead the world cup game. I think FIFA should never use him anymore.
It's such a regress to let that kind of reff to keep exist in world cup.

This Brazil vs Norway match likely will be one of the most toughest match that will be played in this 2026 FIFA world cup tournament, Both teams have a very disastrous attackers and average defenders which will make the game more intense.

Picking a winning side is always very hard in a match like this, but I will hope for the Brazilians to qualify for the quarter finals solely because of my boy Rafinha that plays for the Brazilians.

Looking only at the foul stats, Paraguay clearly committed more fouls than France, so the referee decisions in this match do feel inconsistent. This referee seems to be viral because many think the calls were unfair when it came to fouls from Paraguay. That rough style of play also made it hard for France to create real scoring chances. If this referee really wasn't ready for a match this big, maybe FIFA should be more careful picking officials for important games in the future.
