The first half ended with a 0-0 score, both teams started the match with unexpected situations, Norway's goal in just 3 minutes was offside, and Brazil missed a penalty in the 10th minute, which was very unexpected and disappointing, after that the game continued normally, Brazil is trying to attack well, but Norway's attack seems very weak to me, they are not able to attack strongly, but at the very last moment Norway had a good chance, they also shot, but the goalkeeper failed it brilliantly. Anyway, I am now waiting for the second half, let's see when we see the first goal.

Brazil should not take Norway lightly, and I am sure they are not taking Norway lightly. Brazil also had several chances that they missed. I am disappointed as a Brazil fan. I really expect the Brazilian team to play better and score against them. Brazil is a better team than Norway, and Brazil should prove it today. They have to be mentally strong. Ancelotti really needs to talk to the players during halftime, which is underway now, and wake them up.

The Brazilians are already under pressure seeing the performance. I am putting pressure on myself. I do not want to lose at this stage. We want to play the semi-final, and even the final, and lift the World Cup. If not possible, then play some better football. Not like how we are playing today.

Am even surprised that vinicious wasn't the one that took the penalty because that was the Golden opportunity for the to get a goal and now they have squandered it, I just hope they don't end up losing this game tonight because it gonna stick in their head for the penalty that was missed.

So far Norway have been far better than them in terms of possession and gameplay but the game is looking more like a game that would go onto to penalties if the play continues like this.

This game is likely to be settled in the second half of the day because, Brazil as a team has shown to play more better in the second half. Both teams will make sure that they try and breakdown the opposition defense lines. This game is a balance one so far because there is no clear team dominating the game so far, close to the ending of the first half , I hope they maintain this scoreline.

The bottom line is that both teams are playing very well but Brazil having lost a penalty doesn’t make them worse as people may see it, that only brings tension in them but the Norway too may not be able to use the opportunity very well because they are still playing like they are not in the opportune position , so if Brazil keeps pressing they can get a goal and lock the defense till the match is over though I predict that could be the Norway’s next move too.

Brazil had a chance to score a beautiful goal but they missed the penalty. Norway are playing very calmly, they are not running with the ball as soon as they get it. They are playing strategically. Norway's performance so far has been the best. Norway's goalkeeper is also very clever. This penalty was a big chance for Brazil but they missed an early goal because they were not successful. I think Norway can win this match because their controlling is very good.

Both goalkeepers looked really solid in the first half. Especially Nyland played a big role in keeping the score at 0-0. If Guimarães scored that penalty they could have gained a serious psychological advantage in the early minutes.

Brazil are leaving the ball to their opponent seriously. Norway played with 65% ball possession. This still doesn't prevent them from creating dangerous attacks though. But it won't be easy for them anyway.

The penalty miss has weakened them for some time but they can’t be weak because they have all it takes to keep playing until they make corrections to their mistakes.

The played bad in the first half, they were trying to maintain the pressure form the opposition team and they couldn’t create enough chances because Norway has dominated the game in the first half. However, I think Ancelloti need to do something in the attacking line, he need to change some players to make their game balance. He should have kept Martinelli in the bench till second half, but it is still not bad because they still have time to make it happen for Brazil.

It is unfortunate to miss a penalty in such an important match. Brazil will not get such an opportunity. Conceding a  goal early on due to a defensive error (the goal was disallowed for offside) and missing a penalty, Brazil's players were probably a bit mentally drained.

Ancelotti would certainly change his  tactics in the second half. There is no doubt that Ancelotti is a very experienced  manager. Also, Norway's defense is relatively weak. But norway's attack is strong. The team can seize the  counter very quickly. The second half is undoubtedly going to be more enjoyable.

Why did Vinicius Jr didn't take the penalty? This is what it means, to become a big player. Brazil are not having a great game so far and this penalty would have change the game entirely. This is not a time to blame anybody because everyone will owe to their mistakes. I can't still believe Norway are dominating Brazil and having a good time in the first half. Second half will soon kick off and we know Norway have just one duty and that's to stick to a win for themselves and bringing up everything within their reach to ensure a win become achieveable.

It could become the big Haaland moment now or the big Vinicius moment. One of them could become a hero for their country. I like the Brazilian team, but I like Haaland more and therefore I hope Norway is the winner eventually.

What I hate though is this back and forth without goals. I like the matches in the world cup when they score a lot. I don't know if it is right to assume that less goals are scored in general, but it looks like it in these matches.

The second has begins, and I believe the Brazil will come back with full renewal energy to defeat the Norway this evening, playing draw at the first half is normal since no of the scored, but if actually the Brazil didn't put more efforts towards this match and more pressures in Norway players, believe you me Brazil may end up playing penalty shootout if care isn't taking.

The Norway players are strong enough to perform consistently and I have seen it in them,  we can't concludes the match yet, but based on what I have studied among the two teams or countries, they may later ended  playing penalty in this particular match.

Both Brazil and Norway are very strong  teams. So I thought the match would be very  exciting. And players from both teams will be attacking  a lot. As we saw in the france vs norway match. But the first half was relatively slow. In the second half, both teams will  surely change their tactics. Attacks are  strong in both. Still no  one scored in  60 minutes. Both goalkeepers, Allison ebnNyland, are playing very well. They managed to make some excellent saves.

The second half has been running 20 minutes but until now Ancelotti still remains with the same scheme. They seem for now to be continuing with the waiting scheme and letting Norway take possession and try to exploit the speed of some players with his direct and long passes to take advantage on the counter-attack and this way is still quite effective for them now.

Rayan and Vini on both sides are fast enough so this is maximized well although now they change some players as reinforcement in the attack line but their scheme remains the same but it is precisely with this that they have a greater chance of being on target.

Norway performed wonderfully but Brazil knew to shut down the Norwegian attack they just had to close down Haaland's movements because all the Norwegian attacks rested on Haaland.

It really does look like this match could end in a penalty shootout. Both teams have done an excellent job of keeping their goals intact. But what I didn’t expect was that Norway would have more possession than Brazil. I initially thought the opposite. I expected Brazil to have more possession and play a more aggressive game. But it seems Norway is the one doing that now.

the match is now in the 73rd minute,, but the score remains unchanged still 0-0. I feel that Brazil has good squad depth. However, this team’s mentality isn’t as strong as expected, even though they’re actually capable of doing better than this.

Brazil failed to take advantage of their best opportunity to break the deadlock with a poor penalty kick. The Norwegians were happy that they ate their cake and had it back. However, Brazil attackers is very sharp and they're also controlling the midfield which is a good advantage to them. Norway should be careful.

If this penalty can be converted into a goal they will probably change the course of the game as this could be a good turning point to be in control but it looks like Norway don't want to make this easy because with the missed penalty then the flow of the game is still in their control at the moment.

To be honest I was quite surprised by the rhythm of the game in the first half because I thought Brazil were in control but it seems that for now Norway are still very comfortable with their conditions even though for now their chances are still minimal.

The first half will end a few more minutes and the final result is likely to remain a goalless draw but it becomes a little more interesting in the second half if this condition continues then the possibility of the second half later both teams will do a faster match in terms of tempo.

The game is on the 75th minutes and no team has broken the deadlock yet. Neymar is even on the pitch and Brazil is still struggling to get their first goal. Norway is a pain on their ass because they wouldn't give the Brazilians any breathing space and after they failed in their attack, Norwegians goes for a counter attack which makes it somehow easy for them to penetrate Brazil defense.

We were already calling this the worst World Cup in history, and this decision only reinforces that opinion.
FIFA has suspended the ban that Folarin Balogun received after his red card against Bosnia and Herzegovina, meaning he will be eligible to play against Belgium.
Donald Trump also thanked FIFA over the decision.
If that's the case, then the suspensions of players from other teams who received red cards should also be lifted. I honestly can't understand how a decision like this can be considered fair.

Vinicius was holding the ball to take the penalty, I don’t know why it was given to Paquerta to take the penalty. Penalty also needs experience players who are always good at taking them. This team is not one that the Brazilian team could have joked against, that one goal win in the penalty would have given them an edge even now that the game is looking to be tough and both sides are yet to score.

I am also beginning to feel the game going into the penalties before a winner can be decided. But nevertheless, if any team gets to score first before the 90th minute, I think they’ll be the one to take the victory tonight. Brazil had the chance and they misused it, I don’t think if Norway will allow them to get another chance like that again to take a lead on them. Let’s see what comes out of this game before 90 minute of play.

Ah, it turns out the goal was scored as I typed this, Haaland becoming Norway hero for a while. Brazil will definitely take serious action now, and their play will become more aggressive. But I'm rooting for Norway.
