Guys what's wrong with Argentina....

It's a half time and they are one nil down. I don't know why..... I mean team not making any good despite Egyptian team are in great shape and they are pressing super hard. Argentina is super frustrated mode even Lionel Messi also missed the penalty although it was an open opportunity for making the equalizer.....

Here I just noticed one thing that Argentina are making a lot of mistakes during ball possion and due to this I feel they made little changes in their tactics and that's why players are feeling like misunderstood between each other. So Argentina need to sort out this lacking otherwise it will be hard for them to win the match.

Let's see what happens next.

Maybe it's not Messi's destiny to score through a penalty so he should better allow any of his teammates to play penalties because if they end up losing this match to Egypt he will be criticised for missing that penalty so he must avoid anything that will stain his good impression in the world cup.

Argentina is playing the worst against Egypt today because we can see that the halftime of this match is already over but Argentina has not scored any goals. Egypt is already leading 1-0 but today I am surprised that Messi missed a penalty again in this World Cup,Despite being a very experienced player, he couldn't score from the penalty spot against Egypt today. However Argentina are performing well as a team so it seems that they might become more aggressive after the break and try to score against Egypt, honestly if Messi had scored from the penalty spot, they might have had a chance to equalize in this match.

So many die hard Ronaldo fans do not agree with you, according to how they see things, in the absence of Ronaldo, Portugal won't be able to do well, some said Portugal qualifying for the World Cup is at stake, with high possibility of them losing in the qualifiers.

Although, personally i do not think the performance of a country is to be wrapped on a single player, with or without Ronaldo, Portugal stands a chance, Portugal are lucky to have one of the best player played with them, despite not winning the World Cup but they won Euro with him, which he led them to the victory.

I see some players playing well outside the national team, in different leagues, where Ronaldo is one of them. To be honest, Ronaldo is not just a word of mouth favorite, he has won the hearts of the fans through his performances.
He is a legend in the history of Portuguese football, but I have serious doubts about whether they accept it. If you look at the way the Argentine players play, you will see that they all play a Messi-centric game, which is not the case with Portugal. However, I would have liked it if Ronaldo had a World Cup trophy in his hand before retiring. Because he is one of the best players of all time.
However, I do not want to express too much opinion on how Portugal would have performed if he was not in the Portuguese football team, but I will say one thing: the world does not stop for anyone and the void is never filled. Maybe someone will come and take his place.

Since yesterday Portugal got evicted from the world cup tournament, anything that name Portugal always pissed me off, like I hate them now, like how can they be that jealous of a particular person that they forgot they have to work as a team to achieve the impossible, now they've left the competition and it's not only Christiano Ronaldo that has left the competition it's the whole team, and that doesn't change anything from the love the world got for CR7 so they should go deal with that, and the least they ought to know is till further notice Portuguese team is winning nothing as CR7 is retiring from the national team I'm assuring them that.

Egypt has made a goal opener in the game against Argentina, it was a good press by the pharaohs of Egypt in getting that goal that took the Argentina goalkeeper off guard. I can expect that this game would be getting more interesting right now that the World Cup defenders are the side that would playing to equalize against Egypt lead.

This is his second penalty miss and while he lost the first penalty but was able to win the game by scoring two goals in the Austria game, I just hope he gets lucky else this might just be the end for the champions. I could see the big disappointment on Messi's face for missing that penalty, I honestly felt for him though, but unfortunately, I will want Egypt to win this match, I am a big fan of Messi but I hope him and his team lose this time..

I placed a bet on this match for over 1.5 and hoping that Egypt will get that second goal that will further solidify their win, we are still in the first half of the match which will end soon, and this means there is still a lot of time for both teams to try their hardest to qualify for the quarter finals, but again, I really hope that Egypt don't fail, though I know their chances of beating Argentina is slim, but like I've previously said in another comment on another thread, beating Argentina is not impossible for the pharaohs of Egypt, Ronaldo is gone, Messi have to go too 😂😂

It was very easy for Mostafa Shobeir to read Messi penalty and went straight to stop the ball. It was exactly the same place he put his last penalty that he missed. He got the opportunity to level the scoreline but luck wasn't on his side

The second half will decide who wins the game. Egypt needs to put up their best in this game in order for them to secure a spot in the quarter finals. Is it possible for Ronaldo and Messi to leave the competition in the round of 16, I don't know yet.

It was a nasty penalty shot. He missed the same in the previous match as well. The goalkeeper managed to make the right move. There is no doubt that Egypt's goalkeeper is performing well.

The match is just getting started and we've not crossed over to the second half so it will be very early for me to begin to celebrate Egypt at this stage even when they are able to add an extra one goal. My reasons are first, is because the Egyptian team are playing against the defending champions and the Fifa favorites so I can confidently say they will find a way to unjustly create a way for them to be able to move to the next stage and not just sleep off after moving this far. Until this match ends. The second reason is African teams have this one habit they are peculiar with and it is the habit of raising our hopes only to let everything sleep away at a moment you least expected and wished. It will be extremely difficult for me to believe Egyptians will remove Argentina from this world cup.

The match is very interesting one the funny part about the match is that Argentina was able to dominate the entirely ball possession and the shots on target, but Egypt where the one leading than by 1 goal their currently now in half time we can wait and see how the second half will goes. This match seems to be a very interesting match and in my opinion I think it's hard to predict. The bookmakers might favor Spain to win this contest and I really can't talk much about that. What I think is its a 50/50 match because I think they are both of the same level and the both team has not been at their best in this World Cup.  What I am very sure is that is going to be an interesting match as I have mentioned, and I also think it's going to produce at least 3 goals, so I will just watch the match and enjoy it.

And this was the last game of Ronaldo where he scored no goal, another FIFA and another disappointment for Ronaldo. It is the end of the and greatest ERA, his goals of bicycle kick and multiple others in crucial stages for his International Portugal team or even in Club games. Overall, it is bad for the entire team; they played very well  throughout the game, but when the overtime calls, they directly fell back.

This was the same situation with the Austria game. This is his second penalty miss and while he lost the first penalty but was able to win the game by scoring two goals in the Austria game, I just hope he gets lucky else this might just be the end for the champions. Egypt aren't looking like a team that wants to give in to Argentina so it's up to Lionel Scaloni's boys to bring the fight to the Pharaohs.

Let's just wait and see if there will be a comeback from Argentina in the second half. The situation in the second half might be different with Argentina playing more offensively. The usual response we see when a team is behind. But I also hope Egypt can perform strong in the second half. It might not be easy but it seems like Egypt won't give up.

I'm still suprise that Messi threw away that open chance, that's to tell you that even the greatest players sometimes are unable to withstand pressure. Well penalty is a lucky game and anyone can miss it, doesn't matter if it's the greatest player. The first half is over and it's break, hoping to see Argentina improve in the 2nd half.
 That early goal really motivated Egypt, theyve been very careful with giving out much chances to Argentina, I'm looking forwards to see if yhey can maintain it till full time cause am sure Argentina would restrategise and come back with a better attacking force against the Egyptian defenders.

It is really depressing to see that Lionel Messi missed yet another penalty kick and this is the second one he has missed in this World Cup. It was a wonderful assist from Marwan Attia, leading to Yasser Ibrahim scoring a brilliant goal.

Mostafa Shobeir is the standout performer for Egypt, having made three crucial saves. Egypt defense is excellent and they are marking Messi and Álvarez closely to deny them any space to break free. I expect Argentina to change their tactics and search for the equalizer in the second half.

No country should be underestimated in the remaining games of this world cup. Though I believe this is a temporary setback for Argentina, as the second half could be very devastating for Egypt if care is not taken. Argentina is used to this kind of situation, and before you know it, they might have scored 2 goals.

That might not be easy at this stage and Egypt would defend so well. However, if they (Egypt ) are successfully wit this, they would have my respect.

It's not that Argentina is playing very badly. They were able to create some good chances. But they were a  bit weak in finishing. But the worst part of the match for argentina was Messi's  penalty miss. He  missed a penalty in the previous match as well. He made the same mistake in this match as well. It is difficult to accept such a mistake from an experienced player like Messi. Anyway, Argentina still has enough time and  opportunity to make a comeback. They will  not want to lose against egypt in any way. But Egypt will play completely defensively in the second half. It is undoubtedly a difficult task to score  against such a strong defense of Egypt.

Oh how much I'm rooting for them right now. If they win that would be a well deserved yet a very surprising event.
