Same here, I watch Portugal games and support them all because of Ronaldo, the only time I wouldn't have supported them was if they were playing against my country. The best team won which was Spain and frankly Portugal were lucky to escape with just a goal. I do hope Ronaldo will retire after this so these players can enjoy themselves as they have always wanted. Bruno can now take the lead and become the main man as his also wanted, I hope they win everything from now on because it seems as if they were doing everything possible to be kicked out of the competition. Portugal plays as if they are one amateur team.

Spain wasn't the favorite. I had bet on Portugal to win. However, football is unpredictable. Imagine the midfield Portugal had in that game. A midfield that is incredible in their respective clubs. Yet that midfield cant produce and assist for the strikers. Spain didn't have the complete team to win Portugal. I think Portugal limited their capability. All thanks to the coach who made sure they were out of the World Cup. He coached the Portugal team to confine their talent by playing defensively.

Speaking of Portugal, they lack one thing in their XI, although they have some star players in the team, their team is not very good and they were not as strong as Spain in terms of mentality. Although Spain is not a very star-studded team, there is a good understanding among their teammates, which is why they have survived the World Cup so far even with the youngest team. On the other hand, Portugal had a star-studded team and were also ahead in terms of experience. However, Portugal may not have become a big team yet.

Yeah, a big respect to Argentina for that magical come back, meanwhile Egypt was a very huge disappointment to be honest, they had many of us in Africa celebrating their qualification to the quarter finals but unfortunately, things turned out as if someone in the Argentina team or group of fans used voodoo on the Egyptian players, how can  a team that first scored two goals (well three goals of the other one goal wasn't canceled) succumb to conceding three goals in less than 25 minutes of a match they were already winning, what went wrong with the players, the defenders, the attackers, strikers, and most importantly, what went wrong with the keeper?

There is nothing to respect in that game. Yea , great comeback from Argentinians but VAR and the ref made all the magic and importance of a World Cup to simply go away. Magical or not magical , this is not the world cup we the fans expected and this is for a lot of us , a deja vu of WC 2002 where South Korea managed to bribe a lot of refs to have a deep tournament participation.

So here is whats coming up from the yesterday's Argentina verse Egypt's match where Argentina dramatically defeated Egypt by 3 goals to 2 goals after Egypt had had 2 goals scored up to almost the 80th minute of the match, and in less than 20 minutes, Argentina secure 3 goals that lead them to winning the match and qualifying got the quarter finals while Egypt has to pack their bags and go home..



Egypt's coach is now accusing fifa of favouring Argentina and Messi in the match by them (fifa) allowing Messi to continue playing even when should have been substituted..

Egypt gave them a tough time, but I don't think they'll have similar difficulties against Switzerland. I think they'll win against Switzerland. For Argentina, the semi-finals are now in sight. The match against England will be very important. If England reaches the semi-finals without any problems, I'm very curious to see what might happen in the final. Both teams are capable of challenging France if France reaches the final.

Yes it was much and VAR didn't cause anything, it was what happened that VAR was always going back to replay and take action, before Mohammed Salah had his goal we saw what Marwan Attia did to Lisandro Martinez before possessing the ball and give to Salah and that was something that wouldn't be neglected by the referee so actually people doesn't want to see it from how it started but they're instead judging it from when Salah scored with the opportunity. VAR had nothing against the losing of Egypt and there is nobody to blame put their players, imagine how uninterested Egypt was to defend the last goal that won them.
