I'm sure he would record high numbers of assist this season with some goals too. How has strengthening the attacking positions helped them win trophies sofar? None that I can lay a hand on this few years. To build a strong team it has to be a balanced team from the defence, midfield to the attack. I am pretty sure they will find a way to use both of them at the same time. Coman can play on the right, while Mane plays on the left, or vice versa. I do not see them paying Coman that much, just to get the player to be at the bench, that doesn't make sense at all.
