However Al Nassr always fails to win trophies because their defense and goalkeeping are weak. This is my opinion.

61 goals to reach 1,000 goals may seem like a lot, but if Ronaldo can score two goals in every game this season, I think he'll achieve it before the end of his career at Al Nassr. Ronaldo's 100 goals for Al Nassr is already a remarkable achievement, considering his age. I hope he still has the ability to reach 1,000 goals this season. Although if you think about it, it won't be easy for him because this season's challenges could be different from last season.

I learnt that Cristiano Ronaldo scored 50 goals for Al Nassr in all competition last season, that's a wonderful performance. I think that if he maintains same scoring records as he did last season then he might achieve close to 60 goals this season. He scored about 5 goals in the preseason games and also scored in the Super cup final against Al Ahli Jeddah so he will maintain same scoring consistency as he did last season which will draw him closer to his 1000th career goals. I understand that players do face scoring challenges in some seasons so i hope Cristiano Ronaldo will not experience difficulty is scoring goals this season. But i wonder how a player like Pelé was able to break Guinness records by scoring 1279 careers goals, it's really crazy though.

My answer is maybe no or maybe even yes. He has actually proven it based on what Cristiano Ronaldo has given and he has even broken a record. Ronaldo's personal experience is also a main factor or even a key in his achievements. I personally see that the Al Nassr team is not overly reliant on Cristiano Ronaldo alone. And Ronaldo also does not try to do everything by himself as we have seen several times in the past matches. So I think Al Nassr still needs Ronaldo's performance to strengthen the team. But I personally prefer to see Al Nassr revamp their defense, where they seems disorganized and even makes mistakes in crucial matches. And I think the front line is already quite good. However I think Al Nassr needs some good players for the defense as many people expect. This is a difficult question to answer, if it weren't for the age factor, perhaps no one would question Ronaldo minimal contribution to teamwork. All players in the main Al Nassr squad are encouraged to support Ronaldo, with the aim of boosting the club prestige and the image of the Saudi Pro League. Perhaps Al Nassr has also considered this now, as Ronaldo's contribution to Al Nassr is not bad and is even considered extraordinary considering his age. They began a season well, with a big and scored 5 goals while did not have any conceded goal which is surely very good start for them. With high quality and competitiveness of Al Ittihad and Al-Hilal as well as rising Al-Ahli and general improvements from those clubs' player resources, Al-Nassr will have to beat many competitors in Saudi Professional League to lift the trophy.

It won't be an easy season for Al-Nassr, and it potentially is more difficult than three latest seasons so Al-Nassr must become much better to be a champion in this season. Joao Felix years after his departure from Benfica has already shown that he is not able to reach to highest level so this transfer to Al-Nassr is good for him. Playing in a lower quality league but can enjoy matches, play well, get good wage while his position in Portugal national team might not be affected too much. Hopefully his career won't become worse after joining Al-Nassr and play in Saudi Professional League and surely he still have chances of returning to big leagues in Europe.

This might not be a problem since Al Nassr won, but there was something about the match that caught my attention. Ronaldo and Coman don't really consider their passing options when they're attacking with the ball at their feet. They prefer to shoot directly at goal.
They don't prefer to pass when they have players in good positions. It might not be a problem since they were ahead yesterday, but it could become a problem later.
Al Nassr had a great win. The Al Taawon goalkeeper prevented the gap from widening.
Felix could play in this league for a long time. The intensity of the league perfectly suits his style of play.
