as we know, many people suggest investing in bitcoin because the risk is not too high.
but if we look at the market there are lots of people buying altcoins, and to be honest I also like to buy altcoins but there aren't many of them, and it's still my biggest investment in bitcoin. and to be honest even though investing in altcoins is risky but I always want to buy and the reason is because of the high pumping..

It's for profit just as the reason you want to buy. During the bull market, it's not just BTC that is going up. The altcoins are also rising and if you believe some altcoins will have adoption like ETH or BNB then it's your option to buy.

Just like gambling, however, high risk and high rewards. You invest so you gamble your way because there are also altcoins that don't move an inch. Picking the top ones is what they advice.

I think the simple reason for all the investments in altcoins has the same goal and nuance to find big profits with minimal funding. Many years ago when the firsts altcoins were created those which supported them actually believed on the altcoins in which they were invested and thought they had a chance to bring the market forward, but as the years went by this is no longer the case and the main reason to invest in altcoins evolved and it became on speculation, traders are looking to invest in assets which outperform bitcoin, and while rare there are altcoins which can do it and this generates a lot of interest on them.

Most probably because the amount money you need to get into those alts are significantly low while it promises good ROI.
If I remember correctly some $SHIB OGs only bought their holdings for a couple of hundreds worth of dollars and turned it into millions worth when that shitcoin pumped.
Although, this isn't always the case as thousands of alts/shitcoins are also prone to drastic decline in value especially when the hype for it is over and people started dumping whatever they can into the market.

Because if you pick a right altcoin the potential of profits is higher than bitcoin buy the problem here is the risk since its gonna be much harder if the project ha a slow wuality approach or doesnt have any much edge. The main reason why many still continue to buy altcoins and put them in their portfolios is because it also provides big profits and sometimes profits can be obtained in a shorter period compared to holding Bitcoin but the risk is very comparable to what will be obtained because we who own altcoins can see the assets become worthless and throw away the money we invested.

People don't want to be bored and investing in Bitcoin might be boring for some as it moves slower than altcoin thus, they preferring to invest into altcoins than Bitcoin as their price move faster. Higher risk = higher rewards.

We've seen many altcoins that just went up and now at the top out of nowhere. Coins like Polkadot, ICP, Solana etc. Altcoins are way riskier than Bitcoin, but can give you higher profits than Bitcoin and that's the reason why people are always interested in investing into altcoins. Profitability.

Profit is surely a main motive here. But there are people who believe in it's future and innovations. Bitcoin surely would remain dominant for years to come but they won't always be in the top. As market adapts to changing economy, people would start looking for use case and efficiency on running the network. Both of which, bitcoin fails to modern currencies. I personally still has larger portion of my portfolio on bitcoin but I'm always exploring from promising new coins which could be the future.

The sole purpose of investing is profit, and so is investing in altcoins, I think there is no other reason. Most people invest in altcoins because they want to get bigger returns, and there is nothing wrong with them investing in altcoins. People's mistakes are being too greedy to put their trust in altcoins or being too hasty with the ambition to get rich quickly and forget about the risks they face. I like to invest in altcoins because of their returns but since it's too risky I wouldn't put too much money in them and never put it all in altcoins.

In-altcoin while on the bullish moment, the increasement comparing to major coin like (BTC/ETH). They have more % increase rather than major coin top 10 list, that's why everyone who are entering "alt-coin" for investment only.

They have more bag spread in different % on alt-coin meanwhile "BTC" could be only around 30-40% of his asset.

It was actually a practical decision but never I found it wrong. In fact, it was not also advisable to just invest in Bitcoin alone, investing in good altcoins is also profitable. It can't be denied that many people have gained a lot of profit from investing in hyped projects, they got too lucky about it and people got interested in doing this. As long as you are not investing dead coins, that is still fine.

Along with my Bitcoin, I have BNB and ETH in my wallet and plan to add some someday when the market had recovered. I'd just wait for the perfect time.

It's okay if you're also buying altcoins but don't neglect of keeping bitcoin as much as you can. It's like you want to expand your portfolio but you do understand the risk that it has. There's no guaranteed profit but you take the risk and let things do on its own based on the chosen altcoin you've bought.

My reason is that not all about pumping, you're investing based on your emotions. My reason is just the same as bitcoin and I've chosen those altcoins that had a stable run (not stable coins). What I mean with that, those that have already the foundation and has seen that are in the top now.

Many altcoins had been pumping when ICO made a good run on the cryptocurrency industry. I did experience it myself when one of my supported altcoins hit the biggest price on the market. Because of that, I made some good profits and invested it in real estate, for myself and my family.

Bitcoinists don't like altcoins because they're a market that just pumps and dumps and disappears, they don't like risk and they want to be safer with bitcoin. But I am here to make a profit and am willing to take the risk as long as they are profitable, I will not refuse. I don't see anything wrong with investing in altcoins, as long as you know what you're doing with your money, you can invest it wherever you think is right for you.

Advice to invest in bitcoin and stay away from altcoins there is nothing wrong as people wanting you to be safe, but the decision is up to you as no one will give you any profit, you have to make it yourself, so the decision is in you.

My main reason is bitcoin will not give me another chance to make bunch of money. You need lots of fund to make money from bitcoin while you can do that even with small amounts of money through altcoins. These days people were massively seeking profit from investing their money into the altcoins. i think that you shall aware that if the fact that if these days altcoins can give you more than bitcoin. Even if you were not a part of early adopters and you can still make like a few hundreds percents in less than a month which is good.

Possible huge profit I think reason why many people priority investing in altcoin than bitcoin, I don't sure with manipulation or hype with altcoin but low budget and huge profit earn this main reason why altcoin is priority for investing. Don't forget with altcoin have huge risk, actually huge return will having huge risk due many time altcoin price drop drastically.

Talking about long term investing in altcoin have huge potential profit after seeing many altcoin price drop under $1 last several years and today have been reached above $50 until $100. But many time wrong choose when investing in altcoin after few days price pump and lately drop drastically until potential delist on market.
