why people are always interested in altcoins

as we know, many people suggest investing in bitcoin because the risk is not too high.
but if we look at the market there are lots of people buying altcoins, and to be honest I also like to buy altcoins but there aren't many of them, and it's still my biggest investment in bitcoin. and to be honest even though investing in altcoins is risky but I always want to buy and the reason is because of the high pumping..
and I want to ask everyone what is your  for buying altcoins, is the reason the same as mine?

for some people investing in altcoins, almost all of them have the same reason as you, which is to wait for the highest price or what we often call Go to the Moon!, this is where the climax of investing in altcoins is. but another reason because investing in altcoins does not require a large fee and can be adjusted to the unit price of the altcoin invested, by having a little capital we can get some good and potential altcoins.

With so many people becoming a millionaire after investing in memecoins, it's logical that there are people wanting to follow what has been achieved in the past. And all they do is just wait for the bull market. They didn't even expect to get that much but because of the hype and memecoins added to big exchanges, many will really believe it could also happen to them. You could say it's not just BTC that will make people richer with just 1k of investment. All it needs is the right timing.

Yes, I agree with you, the reason everyone chooses altcoins is because the profit percentage is higher compared to Bitcoin. Because Bitcoin is too expensive, if the capital is small, the profit we can get is also small, maybe that is the main factor compared to Atlcoin, there are many choices and we can look for Atlcoin that has strong fundamentals to invest.

It is definitely true that people invest in altcoins for higer profit but there is high risks also. Profit rate in Bitcoin may be lower than altcoins but Bitcoin is safe as investment. There are a lot of hype altcoins which can be causes of losing your capital. It is good idea to find out potential altcoins which have strong community support, bright future and price is also low.

I think one of the main points is that they believe they can somehow contribute to the conversation. I cannot really change anything about bitcoin itself, nor about ethereum or bnb or ada or avax or matic whatever. But if I can find something small, something that is just starting out or even haven't been released yet, then I could be in their chat and talking about what type of direction it should take, and maybe I won't be cared and they will do whatever they want to do but at least I would have some sort of understanding about it.

One of the reasons as you mentioned, the high pump, but it's certain coins that haven't received attention from investors, the goal is to attract investors in these coins to come and invest. But another reason is small capital. If our capital is small, then investing in Bitcoin, the amount of Bitcoin we hold is very small, and this looks less attractive to us. But if we invest in altcoins, of course the amount we get is in large quantities. Our balance looks interesting. But if we have more capital then Bitcoin is the right choice. At least Bitcoin is not less than 0.1 BTC

And this is for short-term investment probably, or if everyone is able to utilize the hype moment, they can really get very high profits from the cycle of pump and dump, the condition of hype projects becomes the golden moment for the people to buy altcoin in very low price and then sell the coins in the rising price because of hype. taking profits at the right time is the key because, after that, most of the hype altcoins will fall down and never rise up again. that is why this kind of investment is actually very risky for the newbies and I suggest you not to do this if you are not able to analyze the right time to buy and sell seriously

However, you shouldn't invest 100% into bitcoin, that means you are not really diversified at all. When a person can create BSC or ETH wallet online and store thousands of different altcoins there. A person has more options for investment, he is more flexible. A person hear about profitability of Bitcoin and he is not surprised already. But when he hears how might profitable a new altcoin is, he is more concerned about making an investment. There are also a lot of promising altcoins although Ethereum seems to be the only one that is consistent for many years. My main reason is bitcoin will not give me another chance to make bunch of money. If you invest in Altcoins, you have to invest with risk. No matter how ambitious you are, you can never say that you can make a profit by investing. But you have to have a good idea to invest in Altcoins, then you can make money by investing.  I have seen most of the people lose money by investing in Altcoins in the first place.
