That was a close call, we got lucky with the PSG win the other day and it was enough to secure my first round win against ovcijisir.

This next round is where things could get shaky and there's a high chance that we go the distance with only two opposing answers (#4 and #5).

So, today is an important day for my second round against HomieAllDay. I have Forest to win and he has Brighton to win. We both have Athletico and Real to win, but I have only one team to cover the -1,5 handicap while he has both team to cover it. And since we have only three different answers, if one of us gets two points today, it will be the end of the cup for the other team. So let's go Forest and let's go Athletico/Real (but not both of them Grin

GL in the cup guys, my team got few days off to recuperate before league resumes next week.

It looks like the first point in the second round is coming my way. Nottingham Forest is leading 3-0 and it's only 33rd minute.

Some of us just want the week to end, and the round of the most famous number after 21 to begin.

Just on now I have in mind for my division's games next week.

Tbh I didn't expect them to win as I thought mentally, and physically they would be tired, wtf that was some comeback from them to tell us that they want to play the Champions league, but let's see how the next couple of games go.

Isnt this pretty clear that they are the best option that we have. I mean compared to Brighton to win is obviously Nah, Draw is likely but NFO was very good before they lost so there is a good chance that they could get back in form after that lost. Well NFO isnt really a top team like Liverpool that could always have good performance every week so yeah a few lost for them to stay at top 4 is still expected for sure

In hindsight, it looked like a more straightforward victory for Forest. That was one loss in the last 6 for Forest and Brighton have been out of sorts before getting 2 victories and are till facing lots of injuries. I went for a draw and my opponent went with a Brighton win, so we are still even.

Great performance from Wood to take his tally to 17 for the season. This is the biggest limitation for Arsenal this season, our top scorer is on 14th position in the ranking with 8 goals. Not title winning numbers.

They scored 15 goals in 11 home games before today - but what kind of a lineup was this from Brighton?
Basically no midfielders, it was a highway through the middle and Forest is too organized not to take advantage of it.

Atletico currently in a slim lead, many duels will be resolved based on what happens in the next 15 minutes..

I have to say Nottingham is amazing this season, and I cant believe they are holding 6 points difference from Man City.
Just imagine if Nottingham continue this trend and play in Champions League next season?

I might be on the back foot after question #4, I just realized Gidsel is only 7 goals away from hitting that over 70.5 goals.

I pray that the other players from Denmark hog most of the goals in the final so that his total after the championship goes under. Grin

Oh wow! I forgot to check the result of the last night Real's game. Now I see that they somehow managed to lose against Espanyol so I'm still up 1-0 against HomieAllDay. There is only one more different answer and that's the Milan - Inter game. I only need that the results doesn't end with Inter to win and both to score to secure my win. Otherwise we will settle this second round with the penalties.

I don't know where you can find a count, but according to your posts, and that he scored 9 in the last, this means I need him not to score more than 6 goals to win this one, right? ralle14 seems to have the same numbers. You've the edge for sure, but I like overcoming odds. And since you'll be out in LMS next, it'll only cost me 0.5mbtc.

I see a cup exit as not a complete tragedy, as it means I get to rest during the latter cup rounds. Would be nice to actually show up one of these seasons though.
