I really don’t know how missed that up, and it turns out it wasn’t just that, I made another mistake with Vitoria Guimaraes and Fiorentina, I thought I had Fiorentina Yes and Guimaraes No, there is now I’d have picked  Guimaraes over Betis, Tottenham win would help cover for that, but it’s feeling like a round that I could have won if not for this mistakes, I hope it doesn’t end up being too costly.

I have a slight lead on Q5 with Bilbao's comeback win against Roma in the tie, If Real Betis can maintain their current lead and qualify that will give me the points on that question and a slight lead in the tie. It is too early to matter but will be a good start leading up to the weekend.

Actually it is, Medvedev having so much problem dealing with Fils and it was pretty close on the 3rd set. Rune should have decent chance, although it wont really affect my answers on the league but it would be nice to have all 4 players that I listed as my answer for extra point on LMS

I wouldn't say it's completely hopeless, Rune is not a top seed for nothing, and Medvedev seems to be volatile I would say its still 50/50. We drew on the Question 5 H2H so we're still 1-1 and nothing to do here lol Usually they have many Nos but this time all the favorites overcame deficits. I would say Tottenham was the biggest 'surprise' I thought they would fail big time.

My first big mistake in the Tennis question and I didn't even realize, I was trying to avoid picking Medvedev due to his inconsistencies, but I ended picking Taylor Fritz who is literally in the same bracket as Alcaraz, I never knew until right now while trying to check the results, and Fritz has been knocked out, Now I have to hope that Medvedev doesn't reach the finals to stand a chance of winning that question, since my opponent has Gauff who had also been knocked out.

I am in the exactly same situation. I was trying to decide for like 5 minutes whether to go with Mevdedev or someone else and unfortunately went with Tsitsipas and now have to hope for Rune to stop Medvedev if I don't want my oponnent to get point out of it.

I considered hedge betting but odds on Medveded are not too good (1.55 I think).

You will need Swiatek to win her game first before you confirm that its fine for Rune to win. Her game is starting in few minutes and shit is pretty common to happen in WTA

I hope that you are wrong about Real because if they win over Villareal, I will secure my win against Da_Silva. That point would give me a two point advantage with only one different question remaining. Fingers crossed.

I probably don't have a chance to win promotion in this season, but I will have to fight for it in the next one because it's much more interesting in division 2. In division 2 players come to the forum and it's much better when you can talk to your opponent.

Swiatek did screw me over big time, now my only is that Medvedev doesn't get past Rune...

I completely underrated Andreeva before the game, and after the 1st set reality check came in, but Swiatek's performance in the 2nd set made think Swiatek is going to finish the job easily in 3rd, now here we are!

It's going to be tough to get a win in this round now, I might as well just be glad If I could get a draw.

It didn't matter for me as me and Harkorede are only waiting for Rune and Medvedev to play. Sabalenka was the best choice on odds/seeding position so I just went for her, plus her side of the draw seemed the easiest. But tennis is tennis and none of that can make a difference on a short hour of good play Can't believe I have to count on Real Madrid to win to get a point, thats a low point of my BSFL life lol

Yeah, this has been the only universal rule since the start of BSFL - Tsitsipas does not win

Would have been a bit more safe for me if Swiatek won, but for a point I needed Medvedev as well. I can still lose that question now, so I'm 100% hedging there.
