I'm so ready to submit mine, but I need to hold on until later today because there are still one or two matches that'll help me decide between a few teams and maybe that could give me the edge in winning this round. 

I made my predictions however I have a question. I couldn't see my team in the fixture. Don't I have a match or is there a mistake in the fixture?

Maybe you submitted your predictions incorrectly, they did mention above that it'll get fixed manually later on.

They said careful what you wish for, I thought I was super ready for this season 5 to get started, but it turns that I'm not even 50% close to being ready, this might be an easy win for my opponent because my players are yet to get back from the summer break (I mean I can't even make any proper research), It's quite overwhelming for me right now, to be very honest... I'm going to pretty really on guts and hope my guts would better than me making an informative decisions/guesses.

Not a mistake, there is 15 players in Div 3B, so one is free every round. You are free in round 1. But all of you still need to submit to stay in LMS part of the competition so we didn't really advertise it.

That was one heck of  a question set. Most of the questions require us to predict results for days ahead. I mean predicting winners on tennis round is not something new but to predict group stage winner on some of the other sorts are actually pretty hard. Also gotta predict countries that will win over 10 medals by Sunday, phew that was pretty hard

Wouldn't say that's so hard, especially if you're following that sport. Like in basketball, in 2 groups we have very clear favorites, in other group image is already quite clear after 2 rounds. Abit more difficult is handball

Nice catch from Slissy. Not so important for me, but usually you get that one bloody tennis game playing close to 5pm GMT I was just waiting for one game a few hours later to help me decide if I'm right in my assessment of his Olympics credentials. My pick survived so I've just submitted, not long after my evil opponent, I see.

It got difficult because of Germany's win against Sweden, but still, the odds are leaning on Sweden to come out on top there.

I'm the opposite, I feel confident that i'll get a good amount of points and then later on have one of the worst starts.

Just submitted my first entry into this competition look like I will be having some points most of the questions were difficult, but I try my best for having better result and keeping myself into competition.
Most of the questions need good information and updates which are currently not available but still its good to join here and keeping myself updated.

Submitted all my answers on time, but this is not going to be easy first round, Olympic matches can be very tricky to predict.
I cant find all the pairs in this round and I dont know who is my rival, but I can say good luck to everyone except him  
I was not sure how to participate in Last Man Standing and if I needed to do something more.

This extra work that you put onto figuring out the odds that each of them came out as group winner would probably pay off. As for me, I got no clue where to find them so yeah most of my answers on this round are based on the current top leader of the respective group

I honestly thought saint-loup ended up not submitting because I couldnt find his name on the bottom of the table ( his name is usually there most of the time on last season ) but turned out he submitted pretty early

We're still updating the formulas for the usual spreadsheets and fixtures lists. I added the screenshots to the spreadsheet, we will have it available soon.

The vote for club selling ended up as 50-11 for Yes. Trofo and myself purposefully chose opposing answers not to influence it in case it was close.
We will spend some time to discuss how the club selling will work, but you can expect to see it in Season 6.

I think it is 1 point for each correct answer. That is how it worked in the EURO LMS tournament and the formats for both tournaments are quite similar.

We will spend some time to discuss how the club selling will work, but you can expect to see it in Season 6.

I am sure we will end up with a model which is a net positive to the tournament in the long run.

You always get 0 or 1 point per question. The league competition is H2H - which means that in these questions you can win a point if you have 1 correct if your direct opponent has 0 correct, whereas someone can have all 3 correct and he won't win a point if his opponent has 3 correct as well.
In an ordinary question there is always 1 outcome for you, in these questions it depends on your opponents answers as well.

In calculation for the freebet and for LMS it works a bit differently, you'll get the hang of it soon.
For the freebet you play this question against the rest of your league and in LMS against all players.

Yup, that was shitty from me - I confess. I did not expect some of these countries to reach 10 medals so quickly - Korea, Japan and Italy surprised me.

Just an FYI for new players - the question would have been voided if we had 7 teams with 10+ medals before the deadline.
If there is only one possible outcome before the deadline, we always void the questions.

In this case, Italy and Australia won their 10th medal after the deadline.
