I had absolutely no idea about this competition and was therefore hoping for one or two draws, and I was amazed myself today that there were so many draws yesterday (and i also grab my first point this week), but last week I also won the first round and I was very weak in all the others. The week is still a long one and there could still be a lot of surprises, as there were so many different sports to choose from this week.

I don't think rebuy rules need to be changed. It is working very well, I agree. A proper Last Man Standing should see many people fall, and that's exactly how it's worked so far. Even feel any extension is unnecessary, the whole point of rebuy risk is not to be able to gain an edge before paying up, but still nice to pull in a few more rebuys.

Thank you for the indirect reminder. Re-buy fee already sent. I jut now checked the table after a while and it does not help that I am rock bottom, I need some luck this round and in the subsequent rounds to not get eliminated again, which will surely be the KO punch with the bump in rebuy fee.

Correct, no rebuys for those that got eliminated earlier.
To be honest, I think it isn't even in the rules. It didn't occur to us that somebody would want to miss a round and then rebuy later.

Even if we were to allow that, then a person would have to pay rebuy for all those rounds that he missed as well, because theoretically he lost in these too.

We really can't allow for a change in rules here. We receive a lot of 'I was just 7 minutes late to the deadline', requests, and unfortunately we have to follow the rules to the letter - otherwise we risk it going out of control real fast.

Some examples - if we allow you to rebuy now, at a later point someone might see that nobody got the 3 questions correct and say 'ah, let me try now again, I like my remaining answers better'.

What I can and will offer to you is that you continue playing LMS, but only against me for our sidebet. You're out of the regular one unfortunately.

@Slissy the first point for me was pretty key for the rest of our duel. I have checked how I can hedge the remaining questions where our answers differ and there are pretty amazing opportunities. So whatever happens, I am not gonna lose Since you took the France and Italy BTTS + Mbappe is the only striker that differs for questions 6, there are lots of great ways to place a hedge and I could also include the two Nations League games Portugal - Croatia and Serbia - Spain. Could also use the BetBuilder on Sportsbet.

You would have to get everything correct in order to win the round. It is about Mbappe vs. Depay, but I feel like Mbappe will have a harder time scoring against Italy than Depay against Bosnia as it is also a home game.

Anyway, I feel the pain that you forgot to rebuy, but at least you managed to submit your answers on time despite having beer while traveling! Enjoy the journey though and good luck for our round.

What might happen is that somebody initially sees 25 players playing, decides he doesn't want to participate, then all of a sudden a round when 15 people drop out happens.

That guy now wants back in, and it is cheap for him to do that.

I'm aware that you are asking to let you back in after only 1 game has been played at a heavy cost as well, so maybe we can find a solution for these situations. After all, we want to put more money into the prize pot and this would put you under a decent disadvantage to be considered.

Regarding un_rank, both him and Hhampuz said they will play but asked for some time to process the payment. Hhampuz did it on time, un_rank as well because the deadline I gave them in the thread was Thursday EOD.
We want to help people in such situations, as long as we know they want back in we will try to accomodate these requests.
We tagged you here and I even asked Trofo to reach out on Telegram because I knew you'd want back in, any confirmation from your side would have been accepted - but now this puts us in a tricky situation and creates a precedent that will be biting us in the ass later on.

Oh ouch, was that list out before the submission deadline I was looking for a good source to see whether line-ups have been announced already, but couldn't really find one. Or did you go for a standard google search? I did and I searched for Depay and Nations League and couldn't actually find a negative, so I concluded he would be in the line-up. That's literally a penalty for Slissy then, nothing to lose But the way Mbappe has performed for Real Madrid so far, I am not too concerned he is going to score.

I understand you perfectly, this week I had to submit while driving on subway on the way to big exhibition. 7 minute drive in total and only time I knew I had that will be before deadline. I spent it answering BSFL instead of preparing for the first meeting.

That is why we have that long window before deadline so you can plan accordingly. It isn't easy but we must have the rules we have in order to stop any attempts at manipulation. Same goes for LMS this round. We discussed it and you are officially out. From our interactions in the past we believe you are stand up guy and we wouldn't have problem bending the rules for you if there wasn't that pesky precedent thing to think about. If we allow it once we have to allow it in the future and I can guarantee 100% someone would come along and use that in his advantage.

We are adding the rules all the time and trying to make competition as fair and good as possible. We are also always trying to help people but that usually works only before the deadline. We didn't add it to the rules but we mentioned several time that if someone has something that will stop him from submitting he can let us know in advance and we will try to postpone games. When I say something I am thinking about heart surgery not taking a trip to see relatives Also I have already paid LMS buyback for one person here in the forum since he couldn't do it by himself. Key thing is always that we are only able to accommodate players to the point where it isn't breaking the rules. For instance if you told me or cryptofrka beforehand, I am travelling and will not be online is there some way to take care of LMS buyback if I need it, we would have paid it up for you or gave you an extension.

Oh ouch, was that list out before the submission deadline I was looking for a good source to see whether line-ups have been announced already, but couldn't really find one.

The lineup is usually announced around 1 hour before the match starts, but Netherlands squad (the list of 23 players) for the matches against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Germany has been already announced and Depay was not included.

In general, this is IMO, all the cups no matter England or Spain or Italy wherever, if you don't have a very big squad in the top division, you won't be sending your best team down to play, just reserves. Whereas the smaller team sees the cup as more important, so send their best team.

Coco and Sabalenka were strongest in the same side to the final. I was 99% sure one of them would be the finalist. So my strategy was to pick 2 people on the same side to ensure I get 1 right in the final. Now I see my only hope is Sabalenka loses to get a draw.

Coco was still active I saw the questions saved all my answers in the form and when I submitted I just looked at the draw, she had not played yet. In fact she played Sunday your time I guess, but it was Monday early morning for me. And I think the reason I didn't see it was the draw didn't update yet, now I'm looking at the time, it makes sense.
