Luck will definitely return, so I'm already looking forward to the new questions and rounds. I hope there are some questions that I like and have some idea, but the interesting thing is the mix of different sports in BSFL.

I usually try to put a example there but one that I sort of believe will have realistic chance of getting there but are actually not the best choice. Secure way for DOTA was to go Liquid - GG; winner coin toss. Liquid was much better in this TI but GG somehow always have their number. GG-Tundra now at 1:1 in lower bracket final and I need Tundra to win this one to get me a point and win in my cup match. Will be though.

Yeah, the performance was slow, lacking in energy and pace, but it's still his first four matches at the club, the biggest of his career and he has done averagely well so far working with just the players he took over, they are great players, but coaches like to buy those more suited to their style.

I don't think he's making it all about control either, there were spells of speeds in the last three matches before yesterday. The team knew when to inject some pace and when to slow it down. Yesterday was just a bad day which can happen at anytime, under any manager. I don't think Liverpool fans should look on such bad days and compare it to when Klopp was in charge, it puts the coach under even more pressure.

The club is huge and so are the expectations, but winning the premier league first try is a huge ask for anyone. Competing to the end and finishing in the top 3 will be a great season. If he can throw in one or two cups, that will be exceptional.

Sure, it's way too early and the last thing I want is to put the 'Klopp' burden on his shoulders. Nobody expects PL trophy - we're not good enough nor deep enough for that to happen.
I do expect to see a clear gameplan and it's showing - if this is the way to go, then a lot of our current players will need to be replaced before Slot starts getting the desired result from the team.

Not that I mind that, there are some players at the club currently that I really dislike - but as long as we're built to be a 'tempo' team, I want us to use that to our advantage when it is needed - and against Forest it was needed.

Nah, I think not many fans expect miracles. We're good enough to take advantage if both City and Arsenal slip up, but that's not really likely.
We won't be pushing to 90+ points this season, I'd be extremely surprised to see it happen.

I really didn't have time to follow the results of the second round. I just opened the spreadsheet and I see that I have one point advantage over chi20. I'm just too lazy to check the DOTA results but it looks like this will be the first time that my team stayed in the cup after two rounds. I'm please how my team is performing in this season. The start was a bit slow, but now we have started winning rounds and the board is pleased.

I see that Unicaja won the FIBA tournament, meaning I lead 1-0 against Saint-loup, but it looks like he will win the esports question so penalties migth decide the winner.

The same thing could happen in my matchup if there's no BTTS for the Arsenal match. I'm also in the lead by a point from the Real Madrid question, and then we'll probably go the distance due to the esports question.

I might lose in the penalties for doubting Newcastle, but I still think the Wolves could get something out of this match.

Afaik, I never won a point on esport question and it would be nice to change that.

That's usually my domain, while luck have played the most part I always like my chances with eSports, unlike freaking Formula One, where even a 1.01 Odds would go against me.

In hindsight it looked like that kind of game, with the injuries Arsenal suffered. I expected we will go with a compact game just like we did away to City last season, but I expected Tottenham to score and win a tight match so I went with a high scoring game.

I lost the point there but the goonerz got 3. These are the type of games you have to win to compete for the title.

I now need Newcastle to win as the final game on one of my bet slips.

Well thats it, Tottenham didnt score so congratz on advancing the 3rd round cup @b1g4udge. If only Spurs scored there, we would have gone to penalties but I guess I could lose on penalties as well.

By the looks of it, Wolves will get all 3 points from the match.

Saint-loup won esport question so now its all about Wolves vs Newcastle and winner will be decided by the corner question. He went with over 10.5 and I with less. 59th minute and 6 corners so far. Its going to be very close but it looks like he is a bit closer to the win.

I just checked your answers to the penalty questions. It doesn't matter to you how many corners the match will have.
If Newcastle can win the match (which is very unlikely), you will win and if Newcastle can't win the match, Saint-loup will win.

Edit: Newcastle scored two goals in only 6 minutes and they are now leading 2-1.

I just checked your answers to the penalty questions. It doesn't matter to you how many corners the match will have.
If Newcastle can win the match (which is very unlikely), you will win and if Newcastle can't win the match, Saint-loup will win.

But we have 3 different answers: match winner, number of corners and minute of yellow card. I got the point  for minute of yellow card while match winner and number of corners are still up for the grabs.
