Not sure if you know where I was a season ago and how badly it's been going for me (round previous to the last, I was absolute bottom of the league). So this dip in form doesn't seem to be temporary but chronic. I have to figure out what's going on fast!

As we mentioned already, this week will be Cup week in BSFL. We only one round with 5 questions (+pens) and deadline will be later then usual. Probably on Thursday with questions coming up on Tuesday. We decided to go about it this way since it would be impossible to field 10 good questions for proper league round with the WC schedule as it is and keeping to our usual deadlines. Since it is only 8 players left should much easier to make everyone submit with new deadline.

I'm glad to be able to come back for a draw in this round at least... The tennis question literally saved me from a sad loss. That was the question I was afraid of the most in fact as I rarely watch tennis for a long time.

Being 6 points away from top 4 makes things really difficult for me. There are 5 more games to play of course. We'll do our best as a club but I have a bad feeling like we'll only be able to secure ourselves in Division 3 that's all.

Thanks for the clarification, so there’s still some time left for questions and answers. I’ll just have to hope for a little luck again, since I’ve never made it this far in the tournament, and I hope I don’t get eliminated right away. I'm 0-1-2 since the World Cup started and will be very happy when it's over
Then again such streaks are not new for me as I've had such negative runs in the past two seasons too.

It is what it is I guess and since Im behind then I couldnt complain with the result

Overall I had pretty good answers but it didnt go my way and if there is anything that I wish I could change would be France to keep the cleansheet. Im not sure what was I even expected from Sweden considering they got trashed so bad against Netherlands

Egypt and Ghana could have gone as what I expected them to be but yeah its a good round. I hope the other guy on top lose their rounds so it would beneficial for us  .

AFAIK, we don't have any ICC tournaments left this year, just yesterday the Women's WC ended so if ICC tournament is the priority then we have to wait for few more months. However we have some ongoing series like Eng - India that is happening until July 19, that is worth considering I guess and this might be easier than the test match (5 day game) because the series that I am talking about have T20 and ODI, which ends in a day.

There is no trauma win and loss; it's always part of the game. I have done my best, but I am still not able to have a win. It's a good win for you with 9 points, no doubt a big achievement for you here in BSFL.

I had trauma in the third round of the cup where I lost in penalties with just missing my last question incomplete. This was surely trauma for me, but I have to carry on once again. It was a boring week without any activity, but now I'm preparing for the next round because promotion is the target, and I'm still hanging on to second spot. This is pretty good.

Cricket is not having good space here on this forum. I am missing this but sadly can't do anything about this.
