I don't know what is wrong with Marseille, but they are playing terribly. Honestly, I expected Beşiktaş to win after they bought a lot of quality players, but I think it was more down to Marseille playing badly rather than how good Beşiktaş actually was.

Sunderland gave me an edge in my duel with Harkorede, but there's still a lot to play for. It will be a good weekend with plenty of sports to follow

Anyone played FM back in the day when it was still called Championship Manager? Iirc, the first one I played was 96/97 version, but weren't seriously hooked on it until 98/99. Still remember winning everything with Wolves as having experienced Steve Bull and young Robbie Keane (+ few Argentinian wunderkids like Aimar and Saviola) was a cheat code. And it was a very slow game, as it needed few months of (serious) playing to finish just one season.

I definitely played in early 2000s but actually Italian version or Spanish I can't recall because they used real player names. But my computer was very old even then and with upgrade to HDD I didn't upgrade anything else so everything was very slow, I actually took years to finish (win everything).

I played Winning Eleven more because we would set up the game according to actual competitions and just play among friends (not PC).

Thanks for pointing that out I completely overlooked it, but there are still a few different answers, so there’s sure to be a winner between me and entebah. It’ll be a while before we know more, but with a little luck, we’ll have an idea of where this is headed as early as tomorrow.

No JP, no party for Chelsea! I can live with Chelsea, a draw would have been fatal for me in the league, I'm still sitting with one LMS points, but at the same time, I'm only a point behind, so there is still a few opportunities to catch up with. I've got to hold on to that tiny hope, regardless.

Roma and Inter Milan would be the final determining fixtures, if that could miraculously end as a draw, then just maybe I might have a life line on both fronts for this round.

Brentford surely cannot lose their lead from this position. It will give me a point to not only draw me level but boost my chances of LMS survival. Part of my season's target is to get promoted back to division 3 and to make it past the 5th round still in LMS without rebuys.

Slump for Chelsea with 2 defeats and 1 draw out of 3. Attention was on if they could keep a cleansheet for the first time this season but they are rather drawing a blank for the first time. They rotated but should not be losing all their attacking threat.

Seeing the performance especially for their defensive line like this is quite natural if there are a lot of rumors about Bastoni. I expect a lot despite the absence of Joao Pedro in their squad but it seems my expectations for Chelsea are too high for now.

This Round I was quite chaotic even seeing from the results of 5 questionnaires none of which I could answer correctly. There are still questions left and hopefully it will be a perfect comeback even though I am now 2-0 behind Bitcoin_Budha. I just hope I score so that LMS doesn't fall behind far enough because my ranking is still pretty good here.

I should have seen it coming but I find it so hard to trust Brentford as well, and the fact that Chelsea were scoring so well made my decision stand, just didn't realize their main threat wasn't gonna play.

Thankfully, opponent also wasn't smart so we are heading into weekend on even field. Everything relies on Arsenal now to keep us alive for Q9, @ralle14!

I have an old habit of checking one of their forums (The Fighting Cock) from time to time, and it was quite amusing to see the other day that some of them were consoling themselves by pointing out that Villa also had a poor start last season, yet they still managed to finish 4th so maybe they can do the same thing this season.
