I think Hales substitution in opening order change momentum for Islamabad United, because in recent matches we have seen Islamabad struggle, because they didn't get a decent start from opening batters mayer as a result not only Farhan the lone warrior got pressurized but rest of Islamabad team failed to put decent number on board or failed to filled the required. but after Indopak terrible accident Hales showed his loyalty and get back to take his team to the sky, and that what we have seen in his very first match of him alongside with partner Farhan. Tim Seifert at the top made 26, but the only other valuable contributions came from Abbas Afridi who made 34. But KK should rather blame their bowlers. Khushdil Shah went for 58 runs from 4 overs, while Abbas Afridi and Aamer Jamal conceded 51 runs each from their respective 4 overs. Mir Hamza and Hasan Ali were not much better either.
