Agreed, it is a visual treat. But I don't know how things were happening. If I'm not wrong, the ground have been shortened. If not it isn't an easy thing to score 242 runs and the same being chased by the opponent with 5 balls remaining. All these are able players, watching the score of Peshawar Zalmi I concluded it a win and moved. Now it is a big surprise, in someway it gives an odd feeling whether T20 cricket is losing its real value through these leagues where entertaining the audience and money making is prime focus.

A visual treat indeed, but I feel pity for Peshawar Zalmi. Things are just not aligning for them, although they are doing their best still aren't able to win the matches. They scored 240 against Quetta and it was chased down, great batting by Jason Roy of course, and then, they scored 242 against Multan yesterday and chased down again, Rilee Rossouw leading the charge with 121. It must be really saddening and frustrating at the same time for the whole team to see it happening twice to them.

Putting that aside, I believe they will still qualify even if they also lose their last match, since it doesn't seem to be possible for Quetta to win today's match with a margin that can make their Net Run Rate better than Peshawar's, and Peshawar also won't lose their last match too badly to put too much effect on their NRR.

I don't know what's wrong with Peshawer Zalmi, they lose both consecutive matches while scoring a huge target like a mountain to defend. They have one of best batter like saim and king Baber , TKC , Haris etc who put a lot effort to score a target like 240+ but unfortunately thier bowling lineup ruined all Thier efforts. As a supporter of Peshawer Zalmi I am depressed from Thier bowling performance they should need immediate changes to recover the team moral and should qualify for next stage. Tonight match between Quetta vs multan will decide that Quetta will qualify for next stage or not.

It was a close contest and Quetta Gladiator in the end fell short of 9 runs. We have to admit that performance of Quetta in this season is very much same like what they did last year. They finished 5th last year and they will finish 5th this timer too. May be its time for Quetta to look for some new captain and new team combination because this is not working for them.
Quetta really played well today but luck was not with them today as in Zalmi game. Good luck for next PSL.
