Sometimes I find myself being added to Telegram groups where they are doing bounty campaigns for new coins but at the end of the day, people will start complaining that the project is dead. In most cases I exited from the groups immediately I find myself there because I feel they are prone to defrauding people.
This makes me to wonder if bounties really pay.

If that is the case, then maybe bounty hunting is dead already, or at least 90% of them are not going to pay.

And we are no longer in 2017, wherein every bounty, airdrop are very profitable, the market turns into worst, projects are paying cheap dirt for bounty hunters and some are blatantly scamming bounty hunters.

So if I'm in your case, I will completely stir away from bounties this 2023.

i guess the era of bounty programs are already over. very rare that you will encounter a successful project that will pay their bounty hunters on time and with the agreed token/coin price. but there are some users who are still joining these bounties hoping that they will get paid. but most of the time they are just wasting their time. better look for btc-paying campaign even if they are not paying much. at least you have an assurance that you will get paid and also the CMs are trustworthy for this kind of campaign.

Telegram is such a common medium for scammers to use and this is me not just talking about these bounties that are not paying, but also those scam in the site that I am freelancing though I had used it in some legitimate purposes.

Bounties are like hit or miss if you have not made any research to it and it's not even worth pursuing them anymore unlike the good old days since the tokens that are going to be distributed are either low value or just have now value at all. Would prefer earning dusts with values rather than worthless tokens.

If you find a right one, it pays. I've even made some money with telegram bounty. But that was because i was paying attention to the rules and won the first price .
Usually telegram bounties will get flooded by bots and are not worth it.

Just try to either find something that isn't already flooded with participants or the ones that pay fixed money with estabishled cryptocurrencies like btc, eth or bnb.
But it can be more work to find one then to actually invest in cryptocurrencies and make money that way. And in that way you don't have to deal with tokens you don't trust.

I have been away from bounties for quite some time. I lost interest because they either not pay or if they pay, the tokens would remain unlisted on exchanges, if listed the price is usually plunging to almost zero, and there's not even a volume at all, meaning there's no buyer. There's no interest in the token usually because the project itself is not moving at all. There's no development, nothing whatsoever. The token will eventually delisted from exchanges and die. That means all your efforts will also die uncompensated.

Well, if you're added in a TG group without your permission, this bounty is likely a scam because they can't even attract members in a legitimate way to promote their bounty. So exited immediately is a good decision, because a bounty with a good project to offer will let the people apply to promote their project in a legit way and not through telegram which is added by just anyone.

For your question if the bounties really pay, well most of them are paying through their own tokens, however the question is if these tokens have value. Gone are the days wherein joining in bounties are profitable because currently there's only few project who is worth to join in that even it takes months before you receive your rewards, it has value and listed to major exchanges.

Firstly you need to turn on your privacy setting and change it to private. So no one would easily add you on the group. Before Ive noticed this that I am in groups which I dont joined. So Ive change it cause it really annoying, cause these people have probably some task to invite for more tokens regardless whom they add. Bounties are good but not all cause they not all seem to pay their dues to participants and just tricking them into that idea.

It all depends on the project you choose. People recommend taking bounties with escrow, but not all bounties with escrow will pay a high value, sometimes they have no value. If you really want to be guaranteed to pay, then choose a bounty that pays coins stably with the trusted escrow and BM.

many bounties pay with coins, especially if they go through escrowed, most likely they will be paid, but the problem is that many of the coins are worthless, so they just become trash coins, and eventually the project dies. on the other hand there is a bit of light for bounties where payments are made using stable coins or btc, of course there is hope for receiving results, even if the amount is not large. but if we can manage that small amount of money for trading capital I think it will be big later

It depends on the success of the project. if you want to participate in the bounties, first you have to read their whitepaper. Then get an idea about the use case of the projects. If the project is already listed on the exchange, then there may some possibility to pay the bounty rewards.

There are factors that can be considered whenever you are joining in a bounty. TBH, bounty campaigns right now isn't as profitable as it was years ago (base on my experience) and most of the bounty campaigns right now aren't paying the bounty hunters.

There are some bounty campaigns that pays their token to the hunters, but the question is "Will that token that they paid to you have value?". Most of the tokens that I got from bounty campaign when I'm still joining it didn't have any value at all. Yes they paid me, but the token is useless since it doesn't have any value at all.

You're question is quite general in anyway. There are some bounty campaigns that are paying but even so, you getting money from it isn't a guarantee because most of the tokens might not have any value at all.

Oohhh Boyyy, This post just reminded me of this one time I used to bounties for this coin called "Deeponion" Had no issues with getting paid but the coins value was not too great but suddenly one day it skyrocketed and I still regret not selling it! Soon after that Skyrocket the coin crashed and now the coin and also the forum is kinda dead.

I too remember this but who wouldn't be when this was one of the famous bounty back in the early 2017/2018 era (I guess?). People are rushing to join them and then slots are always full but I remember that their bounty was one of the hardest to join because you will need a desktop or laptop for this and then do some instructions which I find very hard that time.

I guess that's because I was also new in cryptos. Despite of their popularity, the coin still receives a lot of negative feedbacks which can be true because why will they collapse then? If only you are following the news then you should have sold your coins earlier as possible and not regretted it even though it pump later on because at the end it will still die.

And very usual that most of the bounties today turn into scams even if just a few days started. What you have in your mind OP is right and more scams are to happen in the market and you could witness them if you will stay joining bounty campaigns.

Many bounties pay their participants but the problem is you can never sell their coins in the market because they are scams. Meaning, it will just be stuck in your wallet without having any benefit from holding them. If I were you, better to stay away from them instead, and buy potential coins to hold.

There are many campaigns still willing to pay you, but the problem is those tokens are not listed on the exchange, they have no value. Honestly, bounty projects are mostly junk projects, useless, even they can't live more than 2 months after launch or fail right from the start of ICO. We spend time and effort participating in bounty or airdrop campaigns, which is a waste of time. I would rather find an outside labor job to earn extra income than waste time on bonuses or airdrops these days.

In most cases, they don't, they'll just give you a bunch of shit coins stuck in your wallet, like forever.

But most trusted manager that's handling bounty camps do give a legit pay, it's either you have to accept the payment before or after the campaign is done. It does work in the past though, but I don't know now since those previous manager isn't handling altcoins nowadays. You just have to risk and do your own research if you want to try it though but make sure that the manager handling is a reputable one in this forum.

Then you have joined in the telegram group that owned by garbage bounty manager. As a participant and you shall not be a dumb bounty participant. Try to look at which exchange site that already traded it. The bounty manager didn't do due diligence to pick up the right project. I think as a bounty hunter and you shall not be stupid enough to join in any of project. Please try to dig old threads in bounty section. you will know which bounty that will pay or not.

When a new project is launched in a bearish market, the chances of getting payment are very low. In a bullish market, that probability increases manifold. But generally, if you participate in any promotional work for new projects, 98% of the work payment will not be paid. And even if you get it, it is not possible to do anything with that money because the project owners give new tokens as payment which have no value. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the labor if you understand about the project well before joining.

Yes bounty really pay but not all bounty pay reward there hunter its all depends upon a project quality some projects are very strong so hunter work in project so they definitely give a reward but 80% projects are scam they can't distribute reward to there hunters its a very bad thing.

There are those who pay, but that's only a part, maybe even a fraction of a percent of all that exists.
In the end, everything is still a field of fraud because basically those who pay, even if the reward is allowed to take a long time, it will shrink and the token will be wasted.
I think the condition is still recurring like that because indeed for something like this it's actually like an open secret when you get a profit then it will be abandoned.
