Sometimes I find myself being added to Telegram groups where they are doing bounty campaigns for new coins but at the end of the day, people will start complaining that the project is dead. In most cases I exited from the groups immediately I find myself there because I feel they are prone to defrauding people.
This makes me to wonder if bounties really pay.
Almost all of the bounties pay but they pay in their native token. Anyone can create a custom token with pennies so it's not a big thing. What really matters is which of the project really succeeds to monetise their tokens. Back in 2016-18 there were really good projects which have immense demand now so their bounty campaigns paid a good sum of money to their hunters.

Compared now, 1/1000 projects might succeed. Others end up defrauding investors, unsuccessful attemp or plenty other reaon so even after they pay, their value is nothing.

If you are getting irritated by getting added into groups, you can simply turn off the privacy setting so that unknown contacts can't add you in such groups.

Aspiring entrepreneur.

As expected, most bounty projects are bad projects looking to raise awareness fast using bounty hunters, most times they failed to raise funds, and they have no choice but to go back into their caves after they failed to raise funds, and bounty hunters won't be getting any payout either, even if they do the tokens will be worthless.

On that note bounty hunting is now waste of time and efforts because investors funds couldn't reach soft capitalization even if it manage to reach it and subsequently got listed I had personally experienced instances where some developers just abandoned that project when the value of the token remain worthless in a unrealiable exchange thus rendering the effort of bounty hunters useless, well many developers would attribute it to the bearish nature of the crypto market, however to avoid not getting paid bounty hunters should research well before promoting any new project.

Bounty does pay but what you should have is, how to find  bounty that pays?. I haven't experienced getting paid or earn money from bounties but I made some research and found that some did get paid and some didn't get paid at all even though they received the payment but the payment doesn't have values at all (the tokens doesn't have any value).

the current phenomenon of bounties, no one can avoid the fact that bounties are very bad when compared to the past 2017 period, even though the bitcoin price is higher. many differences that occur, the prize given is already pegged in $ and the amount is determined, whether the project is successful or not.
different from before, if the project is successful then the bounty participants will enjoy the luck of the successful project, because the prize is % of the number of tokens sold.

you are right friend, that many new projects that exist are worthless tokens and make many investors afraid.
So it's no wonder that it's difficult to raise investors right now, because many are hesitant to invest because most projects are fraudulent and no one can be trusted, many run away with the results they get. investors are currently waiting for changes that can indeed restore confidence in a trustworthy project again.

It's really tough to be a bounty hunter, mate. So, when you join the bounty, there are phases that you need to face. First, whether they pay you or not; if they do, will it be listed or not? If it's listed, can we sell it or not? If we can sell it, will we get it on time or late, when other people sell it first and the price will go down? So, in conclusion, it takes a warrior's heart to be a bounty hunter. You'll face many frustrating situations, but if you're lucky, you can get jackpot. However, the amount of the tokens also depends on how many works you've done. Nowadays, I must say it is really hard to find a good bounty that will pay you and have a good price later on. It's different from a couple years ago when I did some bounties back then.

As with any project related to investments, it is important to be careful and attentive before taking part in bounty campaigns. While many bounty campaigns may be legitimate and pay rewards to their members, there are some that may be fraudulent.
It is important to know that bounty campaigns are not investments and do not guarantee income. Rewards are paid in the form of project tokens and their price may fluctuate, which means that the rewards may lose their value over time.
In general, if you are careful and take the necessary precautions, participating in bounty campaigns can be lucrative. However, as with any investment, never take on more risk than you can afford to lose.

actually the big payment is not because they provide a definite value like now, but in the past was to give 2% of the exposed project, if indeed the project can get a lot of investors by buying it then you can be sure that 2% for the bounty prize will be big, but there is also a problem if there are no investors who are interested then the prize will be small according to the number of sales to investors.
if the payment has been made with a $ benchmark, you can be sure that you will not get a big prize for the bounty hunter, whether or not many investors buy it will not affect the bounty prize.

Bounties use to be a good way to make some extra cash before but not anymore. Most bounties nowadays are not worth it you can spend months doing work and end up not getting paid at all.Its hard to be a bounty hunter in 2023 lots of work and most atimes no payments.

In my opinion, bounties are similar to gambling because most of them do not compensate hunters for their work. There is no guarantee that they will receive the promised coins, and even if they do, there is no assurance that the coins will be listed on an exchange. I recall that during 2017-2018, bounties provided hunters with a substantial amount of money, and there was a lot of hype surrounding bounties and new cryptocurrency projects. However, these days, it all boils down to luck in the end.

according to my experience, many of the bounty campaigns that I participated in did not pay for what we have done, but this was not entirely due to scam projects, most of their projects did not achieve the minimum soft cap in fundraising, therefore the project was canceled and returned to investors

Doesn’t mater how much money you will earn from a bounty but a good project never give you upset. If a trustful project making bounty for promoting there project then absolutely they will distribution token. Anyway It's not like 2017 year which was big money from bounty so be cool and take a bit.

This is understandable if the white paper contain all of that information of possible cancellation of the project if the soft cap is not reached and investors get a refund of their investment, but what about the bounty humthunters have invested both the time and money in promoting the project over some time, this is what the thread is all about since we are discussing the faith of bounty hunters and not investors in this discussion.

Investors already have their investment covered and there could easily get reimbursement, but bounty hunters have been at the centre of the whole crisis when the project failed to meet up any of its listing demands.

The best possible way that bounty hunters' interests are protected is by making bounty campaign payments paid in other recognised coins like Bitcoin or Ethereum and even USTD.

choosing bounty is like choosing coin that you wanna invests if you want to get good rewards try to make some analysis first.
there is so many complaints that bounty usually ended up being mediocre in term of rewards but trust me if you consider it like investing you'd get many benefits.
it's all comes down with how you select the bounty you gonna follow.

Bounty hunters are simply advertisers of a certain project on which it is really one of the risks when you are a bounty hunter on which you could possibly be able to
receive or not recieve tokens basing up on the tasks that you have followed or been worked on. Its been long time on which bounty hunting is worth
specially into those golden ICO days where lots of projects did really jump out into its value and giving those bounty hunters some good  slice of the pie.

In continous launches and start up of coins or token projects in the market which we do have a total over of 10k coins available in the market and the number keeps
increasing then it would really be that hard on investing into hidden gems which are really that trying to look upon. This is why on the time that you would be finding or seeking for new
projects then it would really be that just right that you would really be needing that indepth research before you would be proceeding on shelling
out some money on it to invest.

If you want secure payments, you can choose the escrowed bounties or bounties paid in stables coins/BTC. You also need to choose bounties managed by trusted BM. But if you choose random bounties of unfamiliar projects, surely there are no guarantees for payments. Moreover, if the payments aren't escrowed yet. So, it depends on your choice, not every bounty is like gambling. Well, don't compare the current bounties with the bounties in 2017-1028, they are too far different!! You must be aware that not many projects can survive and develop well lately. So, the developers/teams are no longer brave to spend much money on bounties.

I have read a lot of success stories about the good old days of the 2017 ICO era were bounty hunters have some mouth-watering bounty payments and this has been widely talked about, but while we are at that, the ultimate question is how many of those projects are still available and successful in the market up till now, I guess your answers is as good as mine.

So of what use have the bounty become if the tokens are worth nothing in the current market, 2017-2023 is just 6 years and their nowhere to be funded so any bounty hunter who has a long-term goal with those project bounty payment will be worth nothing by now because the project team filled up the bags and left the market since years ago, so ultimately those early hunters who changed the payment immediately are the ones who benefited from investors money that was put in the projects alongside the team who pulls the exit on the investors also.

Bounty programs can be a great way to earn some extra income while supporting a project you believe in. However, it's important to do your research and only participate in bounty programs offered by trustworthy and reputable projects. While the payouts may not be as high as they were during the 2017 ICO craze, participating in bounty programs can still be a valuable way to earn tokens and contribute to the growth of a project. Just be sure to read the bounty rules carefully and complete the tasks to the best of your ability to ensure that you receive the full reward.
