BNB price going to $40 may not be possible.  Because in order for BNB to go to $40, the price of Bitcoin will have to fall below $10k, which is almost impossible. BNB never seems to drop below $100.  BNB is still very deep.  So investing now is also not a bad decision but if you invest following DCA the chances of loss will be reduced a lot.  And it is true that BNB will cross $1000 very soon. So anyone can definitely invest in BNB now

But to make sure though, BNB is being used in their exchange called Binance and you can see the use-case of this coin there so the price at least will be maintained to the point it's not going to be worthless. You can jump to invest BNB but still be aware with anything happened.

If you think there is a chance for the price to rise then that is something that you will look forward or expect to but in this year many people are bullish in cryptos. At the moment, a few decline is spotted. We better hurry and take this because this might be the last drop that we can see for now or until the incoming bull run is done. Bnb has a utility and it's used on one of the top exchanges but what if the exchange itself collapsed?

Exactly as you said. after experiencing a correction BNB is always able to recover quickly. because there are indeed many people waiting to buy BNB when the market is experiencing a correction. I also see some such predictions but I don't think it's feasible. If you pay attention, you will see that BNB is the coin with the lowest drop during the bear season, bitcoin lost 80%, and other altcoins also fell seriously, but BNB only seems to lose 50% of its value. It can be seen that BNB is very well taken care of by CZ, so it is unlikely to fall deeply unless Binance suffers big Fuds. Regardless of whether BNB continues to fall or not, BNB is still an altcoin worth investing in besides ETH, if I invest in altcoins, I only invest in 1 of these 2 top altcoins.

I don't think it's late for buying or holding BNB or you want the price that goes down just buying BNB it all depends on you but I think there will be a price -lowering or correction to and at that time the time is for buying or buying more BNB for your portfolio before Bitcoin Halving will come. BNB has major support from Binance Exchange.  If Binance ever cashes in like FTX then BNB could have a big fall. Otherwise the price of BNB will not drop much.  And I think that the price of BNB will never drop below $100. Because BNB is now a popular coin like ETH and BSC chain is now very popular due to low gas fees and fast transaction. If Binance Exchange is on the list of number one exchange and bsc chain is further developed then BNB price will increase much more in future and will be worth like ETH.

Day trading doesn't really work for me because beside from the fact that I got a day job, day trading consumes a little extra time for me rather than taking some time to rest for a long tiring day at work. But for the others, it works really fine for them as long as they can manage their time perfectly and it is not just BNB, there's actually a lot of worthy coins to trade and especially if you're trying to hold for a long-term.

But for the OP's question if we can expect a huge price drop this year, I think there's no definite answer for that question but it's much safer to expect it because these coins are volatile and will move in an unexpected manner. That is why we should just invest the funds we can afford to lose because these things are not guaranteed.

Indeed! if you are not sure with your knowledge better to choose long-term investment instead of trying to sort the day-to-day trading
process, very risky and if you are unsure of your strategy, it can burn your capital.
