Really boring race in the end. RedBull its a long long way ahead of the rest, another league.

Verstappen really needs to be beaten , he is really a child, a completly petulant person, he needs to work on his ego, he put a 1-2 in danger only to get 1 point for the fast lap, what an idiot and more after crying in the radio about some noise in the car.

About last news, Alonso its given a 10 seconds penalty, absurd decision by FIA like ever, only because a mecanich touch the car before the 5 seconds penalty was served, was the rear but he make anything and this doesnt change any in the race you cant put 10 seconds for that, and also you ahve the whole race to say to him that so he can push to cut the 10 seconds, but no you wait to the end of the race to say that and destroy his podium.

About price distribution, i agree with you.

Maybe i made some little changes like:

But in the end its the same.

I dont like so much the a lot positions rewarded because from 2 mbtc price its like the buy in so, its better  more money for the winners.

If someone does not see the race and only sees the final result, they say well, it was logical that VER would attack until the second.

On lap +35 (or less) Vert made three or two calls, "the car has a noise..." something like that, the team answered him, "all good", but he insisted, so I said, "done. ..it will happen, he has problems like in the Q", but the guy finishes off with Fastest lap, in short I gave up at least 3 points, since I missed the podium bonus.

Although 25%(28) or 30%(28) allows an ITM of 7 and 8 respectively. More than that, for the number of players in the pool, it is not very adequate, in fact if they reduce it to 5, I would also say yes.

It is official now. Russell has taken the third position from Alonso officialy. Because Alonso has got another time penalty after the race which is a 10-sec one. It must be really devastating for Alonso to see the podium slipping through his fingers. He fought really hard for it throughout the race. But this is still a solid race for Alonso of course. And it looks like this season will go on really well for him as long as he doesn't have big problems with the car.

Verstappen could have won the race as well if he didn't have a problem with the driveshaft. Congrats to Perez on his win!

I am fine with whatever you guys decide for prize pool. Not gonna get there in the end anyway Doing better than I expected so far and it seems it was an eventful race today but still didn't watch even a minute of it. Who knows maybe it will grow on me over the time.

You will always have two groups of players in the pools, those that want more paid places and those that want bigger rewards for the best. You can't please all of them, just pick what sounds good to you and make it public early in the season.

Quite the race today but I think FIA should make this decision much more quicker because maybe Alonso had more power in his car to offer and could have made another great 15 laps and put some extra seconds between him and Russel but without the information coming from FIA towards Aston Martin , no one had any idea of this until the last laps of the race.. .

I also loved the fact that Perez managed for a few laps to be in the same tenth with Max and maybe I would love to see another Rosberg vs Hamilton but this time with RedBull drivers ...even if Max seems clearly way more complete as a driver than Perez.

On picks...almost a disaster for me lol as I felt 7 places

Alonso just got his podium back, looks like Aston Martin appealed to get Alonso's second penalty removed and Aston Martin found some good evidence.
Maybe we'll know later, what Aston Martin did in detail.

it does not suit me well, but I also think that Alonso should get the podium (and it is officially his now, if I am not wrong)
basically, when race is finished you can reinstate penalty for each racer as you suit, and change their schedule, if they need to do it, it should be done before race end

About RB, what i can say congratulations to them for build that amazing car, but i have to really blame Ferrari, for being again a shit and dont give to us the posibilities to see a fight in the track.

I only mention Ferrari because Mercedes, has made a lot and they need some rest after dominaiting from 10 years, but Ferrari..... come on they are wasting all the Leclerc potential.

It's very good that Alonso got his podium back, but it's really embarrassing for the FIA and the referee to have made such a decision. It's the end of the race and once again the positions are not fixed. For me personally, it was not such a good decision in terms of our prediction pool but it was a good decision for the sport.

Sorry buway for taking your yellow cap away but wow, I feel so good to be on top, and I have to say I mainly followed the shuffled positions of odds from the latest Sportsbet page, following the outright market on fastest lap, and finishing places.

So it seems the bookies knew what they were doing after all, as they always do Just that I'm not sure if this is a good strategy for the long term of course, because there will be plenty of surprises.

I am just picking by the names I heard somewhere and by what I have read in this thread.

I just know Red Bull has the best car and after them i pick drivers from Aston Martin cause James Bond, Mercedes and Ferrari cause history. Don't even know half the drivers in those teams.

And you are behind me, that should really make you think about your F1 knowledge

Well in the end F1 its allways the same, 3 top teams and the rest.

And in the last season we are having 2 top teams, or only one dominating, so its not so difficult to know.

It can be a dream to have 5 teams in the fight,  but its nearly to imposible.

Next race Australia, one of the clasics circuits, and the normal opener of the season.

14.5 points seems like a good achievement for me. I wasn't able to reach it in the previous season; I think the highest score I got was 13 points. Now, it's a good time to think about Australia's rich and diverse track. I'm not sure if Alonso can perform consistently at the top of the leaderboard, but it remains to be seen.
