Riccardo if he will go fast will take the spot of Perez next year in RBR.
This is just a test for RBR to see if he is fast enough.

Also as you may have read Norris is set to join Ferrari in 2025 according to rumors from England.

As already said, I think the writing is on the wall for Perez.  I don't think Helmut Marko and Horner would get Ricciardo back if they didn't have any plans for him to take the second drive in Red Bull.  But I don't think it will be next year as Perez still has until the end of 2024 in his contract.  His days are numbered no matter how good he'll be for the remainder of this season and the next.

Good times ahead for the Aussie.  Would be funny if they get engine troubles on 2026 and cost them a spot or two on the grid for a couple of seasons.  Lol.

Aussie I don't think will perform that better,he was at McLaren a much better car than Alpha Tauri and did not deliver,he sure won a race but that was just pure luck and not driving skills.I am interested to know about Lando Norris if a driver born and raised at McLaren to join their arch rivals of forever of Ferrari,don't get me wrong,I would love to see a very talented driver like Norris join a great team but I am afraid that McLaren may have a winning car at that time and this can be a wrong move,nevertheless I would love to see him winning races,he is one of the few drivers who deserve it and have not achieved any wins yet.

The sprint race format could change once again.

The new formula they have been talking about is to have sprint shootout which determines the grid of sprint race on Friday. And qualifying session will be on Saturday which will determine the grid of main race as well. I think it would be a much better order for the race weeks in which a sprint race included. Because I think it is a little weird to have sprint format right in the middle of qualifying session and main race.

Right after the Hungarian Grand Prix we have a race in Spa and there is a sprint race on that week at the same time. There wasn't any sprint format in Spa last season so I'm wondering how good it will be.

Dumb question here, and I feel like I've asked before, so forgive the repetition if so but -- sprint doesn't change anything on how we put in predictions, right? It's just a different way of qualification and we still enter picks before Saturday to get the EB points?

As far as I know, Belgium sprint race is still as last time in Azerbaijan. So, for Belgium Grand prix, we need to submit our predictions after FP1 and before qualification (Friday):

But we'll see for sure ahead of Belgium Grand prix if we'll have any changes.

I'm wondering if it's wise to go for a repeat of last time around, when Hammie got 2nd place. Am aware it's all different engines now and all that also, but odds are dropping all around behind Max, and Hamilton's still a podium fav only slightly behind Perez.

Difficult to say which teams are stong in Hungary. For a Top 3, we have RedBull, Mercedes and Ferrari in the mix but Alonso as well and McLaren could be strong here again, too, at least Lando Norris.
And of course Verstappen.
If Perez has a normal qualifying, RedBull should be set on the podium, so only 1 spot remains and for this one, many drivers are in the contest. Personally, I'll judge after all FP sessions.

Even if Ricciardo gets quickly accustomed to his new team and being back in Formula 1, I believe Alpha Tauri is just not good enough, even with a well performing Ricciardo. Maybe he's very lucky in 1 or 2 races and can get some points from time to time but when he left McLaren recently, his performance was very bad compared to Norris. It'll be interesting to see him again and if he'll be able to beat Yuki. Yuki isn't bad as well.

Alpha Tauri its a coffin with wheels, that for sure, but i think Ricciardo can change that a little. He its not gonna have so much learning curve with the car because he never stop driving to RB/AT he was the reserve driver so he can know some aspects of the car. The only thing we have to see if the car is well prepared to the Ricciardo kind of  drive, im refering to his late breaking style.

and Max odds are low, so that market is kind a better to be skipped

but, Norris on podium looks solid, odds could be better, but it is a obvious moment for him to pick up some glory, so maybe bookies are adjusting for that as well

Piastri to top6 could be better pick on a similar odds

Uhm , I might take again Both McLarens top 6 finish and a separate bet with Norris top 3 and Piastri top 6 because Piastri still has high odds for a top 6 finish.

It is accurate to say that Daniel Ricciardo currently competes for McLaren and not AlphaTauri. For the 2021 and 2022 seasons, Ricciardo is under contract with McLaren as of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021. Future changes to a driver's team are speculative and subject to a variety of conditions, including team decisions and contractual commitments. Which team Ricciardo will eventually join is hard to foresee.

In fact according to my source Ricciardo doesn't have any bond with McLaren from now on. It is true that his contract with McLaren was supposed to end by the end of the 2023/24 season. However he has officially signed a 1-year contract with Alpha Tauri now so he belongs to them currently.

As for his future yeah I wouldn't like to be certain about anything but I believe this is a sign for a probable signing for Red Bull. Marko must have brought him to AlphaTauri to observe his performance in the rest of the season to decide if he replaces Perez with him or not.

Is he fast in the rain?  What I remember from him is that season when he was assured a podium and it started to rain and how he stayed out, didn't box and drove on with slick tires on.  He was sliding around the track, it was so hilarious.  

I could be wrong but I think the fastest guys on the wet track are Alonso, Hamilton and Verstappen.

Ohh man, again pole for Russel like the last year?, well i dont remember how good are this boys on rain, and always no matter how good you are, with rain you can go off the track so easy.

But yes its really a good oportunity to see how much pay Norris to make the pole, and if he is above 10, it can be a good one.

Who knows,the track is really slow so McLaren will be equal to Redbull in this track and also Ferrari it can be near,just as Russell can.That is because in here the drivers skills are emphasized much more than the car performance without removing anything to the car performance.So if rain adds up to this slow track which I find it strange when in Europe is super hot weather,it will be great if we have this rain here and it can make the qualifying a great one to watch.Of course I would prefer much more to see rain in the race rather than in qualifying as it would make a boring race otherwise where overtaking is not that much possible,better to watch.

Norris is like Russel under the rain, he likes to change tires earlier than the others.

It may be not the fastest but he likes to take risks so if the rain comes and go the can be in 1st spot or in the last spot

I don't know why rain is expected here, qualification will be most likely dry and race will be dry for sure.
Currently, only Friday looks rainy, when FP1 and FP2 is happening. I would really like to have a rainy qualification but currently it's looking dry.
So probably, we won't see any dry runs before Saturday, making it very difficult for teams (and us  ) to get an impression who'll be fast on a dry track (if FP1 and FP2 will be rainy).

Red Bull have already been unstoppable and they continue to get even faster. Besides the version of them which we have watched so far is even with a limited budget due to the punishment they got. Their potential is way bigger than now which means we won't even be able to dream them losing.

Besides it feels like this won't change until 2026 season. But as of that season we are likely to see big changes in F1 cars so the balances can change quite much as well.

It is normal that Redbull have found for this age the perfect balance,just like Mercedes had it perfect in the era before from 2014 to 2020.In 2026 a new manufacturer will produce a better car than the others,it can be anyone,Redbull,Mercedes,Ferrari,McLaren or even two newcomers who have promised to be racing with us in 2026 and they are a super well known brand who is dominating world markets like Audi with their premium cars and KIA which is also dominating but based on price and not much in performance,nevertheless it would be nice to have two newcomers in the new era.

will be an interesting weekend overall, not sure that it will be rainy dough, today yes, but clear as it can be is forecasted for Sunday

will think it through and put some for the top6 on Piastri, still good odds and looking interesting
Norris for podium seems riskier
