I have heard about Bitcoin back in 2017 but never got to learn regarding about it. I always thought that crypto was a fluke and that it would definitely not be a type of transaction until pandemic happens. So, as the title would suggest, is it too late to start investing on crypto? And if not, what would be the essentials to learn on working on it?

It's never too late to start and you can start now to invest in bitcoin, but one thing you might need to know and you should try to study bitcoin price fluctuations, so you can start calmly and not panic when market conditions are negative. There is always good beginning to start for everyone, whenever it is. Althoutgh we may think it is too late but it doesn't mean it is no chance. As long as we are able to do it well, we can still gain the chance to invest. You can start to learn the fundamental things about Bitcoin investment. People are actually at the right time to start investing in bitcoin and some altcoins.

In the long run, now is still the perfect time to invest in bitcoin, as bitcoin still has a chance to reach as high as $100k, $200k, or $500k if we can hold it the longest we can. But I think we should only focus on bitcoin and should not care about altcoins, altcoins are not suitable for long-term investment and use DCA strategy.

Investing in altcoins is not necessarily bad, but it is suitable for those who are experienced and willing to take risks. For newbies, who don't even own bitcoin yet, they should stay away from altcoins as far as possible.

I do not see it as the way majority of the people seeing it because the world "late" in my mind is not about bitcoin can reach $100k or more rather it is the opportunity that you will waste once you did not yet start learning and putting your money on cryptocurrencies. Once you have a better understanding how to make money in this industry, you will find out that opportunities are unlimited and you will be grateful because you know that you can make money anytime you want. I really do not want to spend time on people who are afraid to take risks especially the people who doesn't want to put their money on assets that they can give them returns. I also having a hard time understanding it because why are they afraid to put their money on something that they can have reap rewards in the future and why they are not afraid to put their money that can be called as liabilities because it continuing to drain wallet. Family background, experience and education can be factors why they do not have the right thinking and why they are too afraid to take risks. My advice is to get out to your comfort zone and start making investment and you will find a good life that the one you are looking for.

and this is why there's no such thing as being too late or early, or being missed out. it depends on when you got your satoshis and when you will sell it off to the market. so long you are selling it higher than your buying price, then you are on the positive profit.
for sure, some people who just knew btc today will tell to themselves few years from now that they should have accumulate more satoshis. so the time frame doesn't matter if you don't act what's in front of you.

I have some friends who are older adults and decided to study at the university and graduated, but they did not regret what they Could not do, they Just did it and that's it, in the market I can't be with regrets because of age, which is too late to lose, or that I didn't buy Bitcoin when it was at $15k, no, there are always opportunities and you can always start over, the important thing is to have the conviction to do it.

Talking too late would give rise to a lot of assumptions to justify and anyone would be far more regretful not to have bought bitcoins when the price wasn't much cheaper than a slice of pizza. The question is whether we will continue to mourn this regret, while at this time the opportunity is still wide open for us to buy bitcoin.

It's up to what strategy we use to buy and I'm sure if someone already knows the power of bitcoin they will try to maximize in any way possible to buy. DCA is believed to be the most appropriate pattern and can be done by people who have slightly smaller capital to buy, but the problem is that we also have to understand the strategy in trading and I prefer the long term for bitcoin, because it is not too dizzy to think about corrections or negative conditions in the market.

If you have missed lots of golden opportunities back in the past, could you still afford to miss out another run? This is why you should really remove this kind of mindset on having hindrance on taking some another shot.Its true that this would really be needing up to consider on risks taking but of course its always been part of the business or investment.If you wont move then you wont really be making something
or good results but of course it would really be still needing to be mixed up with some luck because there are really moments on my investment on which i've been thinking that no matter how i do make out
some indepth research on good projects but still do end up on getting shit results which i've been thinking that this isnt really for me but im not still giving up.

There is no such thing as “too late to start”. You can start anytime you want as long you can afford to lose that amount you want to buy Bitcoin or so.

I was also in your shoes back then asking the same thing. You know what? I’ve just decided to buy on my own instincts rather than listening to those so-called influencers hyping their viewers about BTC going 100x in the next year bla3x, etc.

I regretted not buying BTC when it was still hovering around $12k to $14k before it got up to $20k, $30k and up to $68k because of having self-doubt. But now I have taken it away so that I won’t be “missing” it again especially that the halving is coming next year.

I started DCA mid last year when BTC was at $30kish. A few of the DCAs I have are at a loss, but there are some in which I have bought them when they are around $18k to $21k, so it’s a win for me.

BTC is currently valued at 1 third of its all time high. You have to admit that it was a bumpy road. To some people it is not a given that BTC will be a success in the future.

Then what still makes you doubt?

Central banks will launch their CBDC's soon. Which is digital monetary slavery and total control over our belongings. The power to switch off our means of payment whenever they want. BTC is the ultimate threat to CBDC's. They have no control over it and they hate it. It is a threat to their hegemony and therefore I expect an all out war on bitcoin.
For example 3 days ago I transfered 5000 euros to an exchange, as a first deposit to get into crypto. I had informed my bank that this would happen as part of an investment (no details given of course) and that it was normal.

24 hours later there was a notification on the exchange. Your payment has been declined by your bank. Please contact them..
So I contacted my bank by email. Neither the local office, nor the main office claims to know why it was declined. But it was declined by "banking group", some organization at the top. They must know that my payment was intended for an exchange.

Even with only 1 million people worldwide owning 1 BTC or more, banks are already working hard to prevent fiat money flowing to BTC.
Can you imagine what happens when the inflation spikes higher? They know that people seek for a hedge against the inflation, and this poses a systemic risk for the stability of their monetary system. Money flowing out of the system is deadly for banks.

I don't know to what extent banks will be able to prevent money from flowing into BTC.
But as part of the fight I expect all governments in Europe to develop serious penalties for holders of BTC who did not declare their holdings to the authorities.

That kind of stuff is why most people and most institutions are still not involved in BTC.
Gandhi has a famous quote. First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. Then they fight you. And then you win.

BTC has been ignored and laughed at. Now more people are aware of it, and wish to get away from fiat, the fight has only just begun.
And I am not 100% certain about who will win. I guess a lot depends on where you live and what the local law says.
I wonder to what extent BTC will be a store of value when your judicial system gives you a prison sentence for owning it. This is not reality at this point, but it would not surprise me.
