Why do people stay poor?

If someone wanted to get rich then they need to create their own opportunity, and talking about poor they do wanted to get rich but for many reasons they can't no matter how much they make. Main reason why everyone can't become rich is simply they don't know anything about how money works even though they use it everyday, they spent money but not give importance to savings then how they can invest and make returns?

I agree with you that people should create their own opportunities. When you have set your mindset that poverty is not an option, then we begin to think out of the box. Opportunities are everywhere to at least increase ones income ,but the problem I see is that some people wants to start big, where they don't have the resources to do so. In the end, all the big plans will remain in the pipeline. The individual will also remain poor, waiting for manna to fall from heaven.

Another reason why I think people remain poor is that they don't have long term goals, only living on the spore of the moment. Before you know it, had I known will set in, when it is too late. And the aftermath is poverty.

those who are rich I believe have their own advantages such as hard workers, business people, dare to take full risks in business. it doesn't matter if you say they are rich people or have a rich mentality. whereas why are people now still poor, most of what I see is because of their own greed because they want to get rich quickly. in the end, with their greed, they spend their money in one bet or they are not good at risk management, they don't want to be thrifty, that's a fact.

Trying to quickly change their lives as what you said greediness and not being content with what they've got and instead of trying to work it out to find the right way to succeed in whatever business of investment, what happen is the other side they lose their money unlike with those people who already have money they are capable to keep trying and keep finding the right business or investment, with the help f their fortune they can just developed and enhance their opportunities to have more money and be as rich as they can be.

Well mindset is indeed a strong reason behind all the actions taken by most people who always waste more every opportunity that comes their way. Like shopping excessively, prioritizing a style rather than a simple life and they don't even think about investing for the future. Because they feel they will continue to get a salary every month from their job. They continue to work to make money but then after getting the money they spend the money to fulfill their pleasure. but if they have a rich mindset. then of course when they can make money by working. then they will try to make more money so that they can also make more money. for example by investing.

Because they are lazy to work and don't have a plan in life, so every time they get the opportunity to change they don't do it seriously. I don't highlight what jobs can get people out of the poverty line, but living in peace and having enough is far more perfect. Talking about being poor or rich is only a matter of how much wealth we have, but peace and happiness are not measured by wealth alone.

I remember some people who had wealth in my area, but their lives ended very tragically and in their old age they were not looked after at all by their children. The reason is because a father never takes the time and often neglects the interests of the family so that children grow up without love. There is nothing wrong when people seek wealth, but the portion of wealth will be very different from one person to another.

It is not only about how spend your money. if you only have low income you will always be a poor. then if you just investing your small part of your money into bitcoin without any investment plan, i believe you will only loss your money

It's not just a spending thing, it's not about investing in bitcoin or not and it's also not about one job, people who have jobs, invest and spend regularly we can't be sure people who do get rich.
In some time after you are no longer working, of course you will begin to eat away at your savings and your investments to meet the needs of your life and that of your family and maybe you will find your old age very difficult or you will remain poor if you do normal things like that.

We all know the reasons why people remain poor, both in terms of ability, time, not investing, bad education, no opportunities and so on, so that the brain cannot develop and cannot see opportunities that may even be in front of our eyes when capabilities are minimal, then it is not possible. it will never be seen that opportunity is in sight.


IMO for people now who already have a job and earn an income, I suggest looking for another source of income so you don't stick to one source of income, it will make your salary just enough for your needs, and the danger is that if you only stick to one income it will be very difficult if you we are no longer working, at least have two stoves of income to get better results if you need 4-10 stoves of income, it's just that you have to be able to divide your time and energy well.

What do you mean by "they don't want to get rich" Do you really think there are people out there that don't want to be rich or remain poor I don't think so. It is more of a situation thing. some times the situation people find themself in prevents them from achieving what they want. Some people have never left or even had the opportunity to leave the remote location they find themself which also can never provide any better opportunity for them. However, let us not forget that some other people are in the best environment but are still not rich, we could even say it's destiny, If you are not born with it then it wasn't meant for you to be no matter how hard you try.

Does that mean some are destiny to be poor? Well, i won't fully disagree with this but I believe poverty are majorly caused by some governmental and personal factor.

Dont put the blame into government but rather focused on the personal factor. When we are born then this is where our lives do start whether we are considered to be on a wealthy family or poor one.

No matter what, government factor can't still be count out of this. Do you know how sone government policies affect some entrepreneur? Not to talk of lack of infrastructures. There are some places in my place that have not gotten light for more than 4 months now. How will companies in such environment cope with that. The Government has a great role also to place to eradicate poverty from the society. Although, our personal factor can't be left out and this takes a higher percentage.

What do you mean by "they don't want to get rich" Do you really think there are people out there that don't want to be rich or remain poor I don't think so. It is more of a situation thing. some times the situation people find themself in prevents them from achieving what they want. I visited a lot of 3rd world countries and the leading reason for poverty are population growth, where people have 5 or more children in a family and where there are only one person working for a salary to sustain the family.

People in the 1st world countries only have 2 or 3 children and they have enough income to pay for all of their expenses. They can pay for good education and they provide for all of their needs. (Food & health services)

Governments should encourage population control and stop encouraging them to make more children, so that they fall under poverty and then hold them for ransom with social grants to get their votes.

These are human fears that very often prevent us from leaving our comfort zone and trying to change something in life. I agree that in some cases it is much more difficult to do this, but if the current job only allows your family to survive, then you need to change something in your life as soon as possible, and not be afraid that if you lose this job, then you will no longer have the usual source income.

We grow when it's really difficult for us, when we have to change in order to change something in life. You also need to change your mindset, you can’t just start earning more. Another factor I put into consideration is ones circle. If you are always in a circle of lousy people who think not of what they could do to generate more funds or being productive, you will remain like them because they would always drag you down to their level so the best thing is to always stay in circle higher than you if you must grow and be productive.

I totally support this notion, because the choice of being poor is somehow in the hands of the actually person because poverty is something that is fixiated in anymore life but I do agree that some folks are born poor  but its actually a bigger when you have chosen to remain like that because the power of you remaining poor lies with you and yes bad company always contributes to static growth which is not advisable if anyone actually wants to grow in life.

What would happen if the government is the reason why that country is staying poor?
I mean in the 3rd countries, corruption of government is really serious. Any solution for this reason? You can't just pray and all the corruptions are gone.
