I didn’t see anywhere the Op said he wants to buy merit, he didn’t say he is having intention to buy or sell merit. The account was created this year and the Op don’t really post frequently, so I Will believe the Op is still a newbie, and I don’t see anything bad in asking about what you don’t really understand about the forum. The Op asked a simple question and you should have answered easily.

I understand that the first merit is difficult for many, let me give you one as a motivation for you to more valuable posts. Try to accept the forum as a source of valuable information, and not as a source of income. When you accept this, and learn to read and not just write what comes to mind, your merit will come to you for free.

Motivation is what makes other people who have lost hope of how they should contribute to the forum and also an advice that will change their mindset that if you focus on getting merits for the sake of ranking up for bounties will only making it hard getting merits. I myself experienced it before until it made me realize that if you focus too much on getting merits then what I explained will surely happen and so, if I did it until now then I wouldn't have reached Hero Member rank.

No not ideal action to do and this is been discourage by many forum users then once you get caught buying some merits to other users here both of you seller and buyer will get a red trust.

If you think buying that because you want to join on a signature campaign well that's not really good since all your efforts and money will go to waste if you do that. Just rise up your merit organically since for sure you can learn a lot of things by frequently posting and researching here.

Always remember that buying a merit is look like you are cheating on your exam or let's say that your lie on your self, even though buying merits is not permitted but if you do that then DT members here in forum will tag you a negative feed back and also those user who are selling Merits also got a Negative trust because it's abusing the merit system. We all know that Merit is a reward for those people who actually do a good job and contribute to this forum.  So no need to buy merits cause we will earn that through contributing.

Its something like that since they want to speed up the process and they don't like to experience hardship for getting those merits. And also buying merit is not really necessarily needed since if you have a lot of time can spend here you can research a lot of things also can add up what is lacking on the topics or new information to be share then for this provably he can earn merit from people who can find his post relevant or helpful.

Trying to shortcut the process is not really helpful in the long run since for sure you cannot learn anything for doing such nasty actions.

Why would someone thinking of buying a merit, lets say someone bought a merit, would that be benefit the buyer? the answer is no, besides how will you able to have a merit if your post is nonsense that would be a bad, besides if you can make a great and informative post once in a while , merit is easy, and that would be unfair for those who try their best to make informative post while you were just buying merit, it would be discourage just like others said, and should be ban, in my opinion.

Buying merit just to rank up immediately? what's the purpose of doing it? you will get nothing because even if you rank up on this but you didn't gain the experience and things needed to really get a merit, why  need to buy if you can get those with the use of your quality contents contribution, at the end it's your lose because you didn't gain any knowledge because you skip the essentials, sooner or later the merits you've received after 120 days will be gone, we recommend to learn here theres a lot information you could use and share later on once you understand how does it works.

I think everyone has given appropriate answers to your questions regarding merit trading.
Merit is one of the conditions that has been set for someone to be able to rank up, but stay away from things that make you lose when merit can be obtained for free.
Don't follow those who commit stupid acts.
Create writing that can be of benefit, I'm sure people will come to you to appreciate it from a different point of view.

I hope after reading each one of the answers, you begin to understand that it is not recommended.

Yes you are right that mate and we are know that nothing is shortcut in this world all must go for hardship in order to be a successful. Like in our forum, we must contribute well to this community to gain more achievements like earning our merits and also achieving new ranks we must know that we will live this forum in a good way. What's the fun for it? You can buy degree also but can you buy the skills and knowledge also required for the designated job? The thing is why people want to buy merits? They have hopes that if they gain merits they will rank up and can join some campaign to earn money but that's not working because along with merits your posts are also evaluated and managers would notice that low quality posts in your history so it's all in vain.

Best is to gain knowledge and enhance your post quality which will eventually get your merits easily so work in that way instead of getting into these trading related things as there are many scammers also who will misguide you and get money from you.

Signature campaigns? Yes - that's probably the basic goal of many alt accounts so far, but some user might want to past some of the newbie rank limitations ^{[cannot display images, post interval etc].} But now that OP has got it, he's a Jr member now.

Don't buy merit, don't beg for merit, don't fish for merit, don't post solely for merit, those things won't help you get what you want. Make quality posts regularly, walk your journey naturally and you will reach your target. This merit is free only if people discover the ideas and quality of your knowledge and skills that are embodied in your writing.

OP I'm still perplexed. When I got to the writing, I thought you were talking about buying merit from your topic, but I could tell you were talking about trading merits. Well, I can't say for sure, but I think they are only doing this to improve their rank. However, even if someone improves their rank without having the necessary forum knowledge, it is still useless because there is no way for them to contribute effectively to discussions in the forum or teach others about it.

What I want you to know is that purchasing merits can deter you from learning crucial information about bitcoin, which is what attracts many users to this forum. If someone questions them about this forum outside of it, I believe they won't be able to adequately respond because they don't know the background.

All illegal transactions are legally prohibited from being carried out in this forum although the rules differ between the seller's country and the buyer's country. I mean in some countries maybe legalized cannabis, while I can't buy it because my country doesn't legalize it.

Buying and selling merit is not liked, the same thing is about buying and selling accounts. Both of them can make anyone who does it get a negative tag from DT members if the transaction is known and can be proven. So it's true, don't break the rules even though there are no written rules about it.

Some rules are made to be read, understood and implemented. But seeing some rookies using signature signatures in a project, they don't follow those rules, so they will be deleted soon. and usually their posts are not interactive and seem like passive posts. It takes insight to make a comment or response and that insight is obtained from reading and understanding the topic being discussed.

Do users really buy merit in the forum? That's not good at all. It's important to take the time to do research and hard work so that you can contribute positively to the forum and help it thrive. As they say, if you receive merit on a topic, reply to it if you concur or for whatever reason, and freely give merit to others. There's no point in hoarding it.

as far as i know, buying merit is absolutely prohibited in this forum and abuse the rules of the forum. for newbie i  believe that it is hard to collect merit but  no need to be worry if you collect merit normally, step by step, without cheating / buying merit, you will be more satisfy.

Yeah thats correct mate, buying of merit is very wrong and trading it also, this merit system was put in place by theymos to actually make members earn it through good posting and so many newbie have found it difficult in achieving one or two maybe because you are shit poster or you dont read at all. Although am not perfect but I can use myself as an example, first time I got here I actually did a lot of offline reading which help me a lot before ever I started making little contribution with all the knowledge I have gathered from reading posts from seniors and researches that I have made myself and today I can gladly say earning of merits isn't a problem for me anymore as I know if I write a good post I will definitely get one or two from members of the forum and I can also return the favour if I come across a good post that's worth meriting.

There is nothing wrong in being merits hunger and merit conscious. It will only be bad if you do not accompany your merit quest with quality post. A good poster is worthy of merits, so anyone who makes quality posts should be expectant of merits and if the merit is not forthcoming, you can share your posts to merit threads where merit sources issue merits.

But Op does not sound like one who wants to buy merits, rather he sounded like one who isn't pleased with activities of merit buying s/he is aware of.

It's happening in here -- every bad ways to maneuver in here Is actually happening ...but you should know there are penalties for every act of insubordination in here... It's even easy today to get merited...yes, cus I know how much time I invested in getting noticed,... atleast for the fact that I had that zeal and vision to strive, but nothing came forth... Not until when peeps like Chymist began to see what it was really gon look like ..

The forum never supports or allows the idea of users buying or selling merit and the merit is given to users independently by another user who has the sendable merit just like how your post on the OP page is merited. However, if thought there's some kind of selling of merit between users due to the familiarity between them then you get it all wrong, and if that's not the situation. I think it's very wrong to buy merit, we all know that we can't wait for the merit. To gain merit is not easy so the main key here is patience. Don't mind to get merit while you are posting instead, help other people and contribute so that everyone will notice you and you will gain merit if your post is good so it's really illegal to buy merit
