Do not misunderstand me, I indeed think there is a reason to be sad, because in the end his life ended prematurely and he has left people behind who are suffering a horrible sorrow because of this.

Just because I personally believe that we all will return to God does not mean we are supposed to ignore or downplay this kind of mental issues in our society and in those around us, specially when gambling is an important factor for the anxiety and depression, when money is involved it only makes things worse.

This is so sad, am always feeling pains whenever I see people committing suicide after losing money in gambling, people like this are the once that make most people in the society think gambling is real bad, I see no reason why you should gamble with the amount you know it will affect you if you lose, when gambling their is no assurance that you are going to win, you can’t be too confident about your bet, because anything can happen at any moment, so we should learn just to gamble with any amount we all can afford to lose, we should always have limited, we should try our possible best not to exceed our limit.

I dont think that loosing school fees was the real reason to commit a suicide. It was last drop before he made that decision. I believe that people dont commit suicide so instantly, it is a decision they  came to with time. It said that he has bough insecticide. I think he has planned that suicide. As you can just all of a sudden decide so quickly how to kill yourself, as he had to be sure that it will work, but not just cause damage and paid.

Do you know how he struggled before he could get the school fees, maybe he was just trying to double the school fees or maybe he was just trying to make some little amount which he will use for other things he need from the school fees. Depression is one of the effect of gambling loses and we need to be strong enough to accept our loses because the later can be very disheartened. We need to gamble with what we know that we can afford to lose or else we might be forced to face the reality of the excess gambling we had made so far. One of the reasons why gamblers keep coming suicidal and doing unacceptable things is because of too much gambling activities and betting above what we could afford. It's tough. But everyone's life is tough. Everything we do in life is a choice. Now with that story the best thing we could do is to learn from that. To not let the same thing happen t another person. At least. Because we all know that the very edge of the planet there's another person who might also get caught up of gambling addiction. I don't know why the boy allowed himself to be carried away by his weakness of not being able to control himself and live to face the consequences of his action. I feel pity for his parent. This is a lesson to people who don't have self control on their gambling activities.

Some people are weak vessels by nature and it is not everyone that is introverted, the guy in question was frustrated with another aspect of life to have his life taken the hard way, I don't think gambling was the only reason why he took his own life. The gambler in question is a student that attends one of the polytechnic schools in Nigeria, that is a public school whose seasonal school fee will not exceed $150 at the state and federal level, so if he must gamble his money and that of his friend, that shouldn't exceed $300 at most; Now tell me, which sensible adult will take his life for that amount except maybe there is additional information the media is not giving the public, gambling addiction, and suicidal thought often result from excess losses but this story is not clear.
