Galatasaray holds a comfortable 3-0 lead from the away game. The performance from galatasaray was far better compared when it was facing Zalgiris in the previous match. Actually it was totally the opposite when it comes to Galatasaray defense. They were horrible in the first half especially. Ljubljana attackers were so comfortable about making it to the box. If it weren't for Muslera's important saves maybe even the result could have been way different than this.

The second half went very well for Galatasaray after making it 2-0 of course. But one thing is certain that Galatasaray would have been destroyed with this poor defending if they had a much more challenging opponent.

Maybe Galatasaray are likely to make it to the group stage but they need to work on their defending immediately. I think they should sign a credible defender thinking of the Champions League too.

I didn't like Nelsson's performance in this match. He was quite struggling with defending. Abdulkerim had some impressive moments on the other hand and he was nearly scoring a goal if the goalkeeper didn't make that save. I hope that it is just because of Nelsson's not being completely ready for the season. Otherwise maybe Galatasaray might really need another reliable centre-back. But before anything else I agree that they would make use of a defensive midfielder.

Fred and Paredes are currently transfer targets for them. One of them hopefully joins them soon.

I guess I overestimated Marseille. This away game was very bad even without a red card. They didn't have many shots but got a lot of cards, as a result one red card. I think that in the home game they will not make such mistakes and will win the match. This match was the only surprise for me today.

Out of 5 teams or 4 Champions League matches like I will lose one match, Panathinaikos vs Marseille this match has been running for 80 minutes but no goals and unfortunately Marseille had to play with 10 players after Kondogbia was sent off in the 65th minute meaning there was no chance for Marseille to score. Meanwhile Gent and Ranger have made it through the first half with wins, I was really waiting for a miracle to win lol.

I agree that Olimpija needs a miracle to beat Galatasaray in Istanbul, but I don't think Galatasaray's defense is very good. Galatasaray defender made many mistakes and goalkeeper Muslera and Olimpija forwards faced each other in many positions. Lucky for them, they could not take advantage of these positions against Galatasaray. We can see a similar score in the second game.

Miracles are hard for Olimpija to get in the second leg after they were defeated by Galatasaray in the first leg with a big score, especially since the second leg will be played at the Galatasaray headquarters. Galatasaray will continue its dominance over Olimpija in the second leg, the strength that Galatasaray has is very difficult to match with Olimpija after seeing the two teams meet in the first leg.
Olimpija will certainly exert all his abilities when playing in the second leg. Maybe Galatasaray made a mistake at their own base due to the defender's lack of discipline in guarding the defense which made Olimpija win in the second leg but it will be difficult for them to score 4 goals at Galatasaray headquarters.

Galatasaray definitely had a great win without a doubt, and I think that they are going to have easier time on the second game as well. Not only they will be able to play at home which will be better for them but they are going to end up with a situation where they will end up with a win one way or another.

So long story short it is going to be something they can play all their players in and they are going to end up playing at home, I do not see how they could lose that one. Plus, they had 2 goals as well that was offside, so they were even better scoring then normal. I hope they do win because I am going to put on a hefty bet on their win since I believe there is no way they would lose this game, even a tie is not possible.

First leg games of the third qualifying round almost finished with many surprises.
AEK Athens match vs Dinamo Zagreb was postponed after the death of one supporter outside of the stadium.. Not clear what will happen later but so many supporters were arrested by police.
Aris Limassol and Marseille lost their games away with 1 goal difference so they might have a chance in the second leg. Copenhagen got a draw home, not good for them.
Otherwise PSV Eindhoven, Braga and Galatasaray won big with 3 goals difference each making them almost qualified. There is 2 other games running right now with 2-1 for Haifa and Rangers.

Dembele could more than cover from the midfield seeing to the conclusion of a transfer from Barca to PSG.
The issue with Mbappe is a normal player-club issue, where the player wants to leave, but the club ain't done with 'em yet. Worst is if Mbappe gets to stay till 2024, he might just become another player with regular start from the bench, and it might affect his performance.
I would love to still see Mbappe playing for PSG with Neymar and Dembele starting, but building a formidable team at this time for Enrique, might be just plain genius.

It is almost certain that Mbappe will leave PSG but he is not leaving this season, he will stay with PSG for one more season and then leave PSG. Since Mbappe will be seen with PSG for one more season, it is not right for PSG to remove Mbappe from everything so early. Do you know what the reason is for Mbappe to more or less boycott everything? It is not PSG, it is Mbappe who wants the massive bonus for the new season while he wants to leave the club at the same time. But you have to understand that this is a bonus he would get when he stays. His plan is to get PSG to pay him his bonus and also to let him go because otherwise they would lose the total transfer fee if he stays another year. That is his calculation. If Real goes up with the price, PSG could take a chunk of that money and also pay him a bonus he never deserved. Truly that this is a situation that PSG has never wanted before regarding its best player. Kylian Mbappe had to leave in an unexpected way and he has really disappointed many in France with his attitude. Surely Hojlund is burdened with a very crucial role for next season because he is Erik Ten Hag hope for the front line of the Red Devils this season. Now it's not too good to compare these two players with their level of ability to make a big contribution to the team they are defending.

The performance from united and arsenal are still questionable at this moment. The opening match of EPL has not yet commenced. We don't know how good arsenal and MU right now in the real match.

PSG didn't think twice before giving Mbappe all the benefits they gave him when renewing his contract last year when those with experience were speaking against the privilege the young players was receiving, many thought they were been jealous but we can see how things are playing out. Yes, Mbappe is obviously a cynic, and all the fairy tales in 2023 about "my favorite club since childhood, etc." it's not even funny anymore. But he is in his right, he fulfills the contract and there can be no claims against him. PSG is another matter - they paid him for something, but they are trying to pressure him to get more from him than he was obliged to do. This is both unethical and somewhat illegal.

PSV was just making its record against strum to be even better. PSV has ever meet this club in europa league a few years ago and PSV was winning in all the matches. The same thing gonna repeat again right now. I expect PSV to destroy strum gaz for the second leg as well.
PSV gonna become a host for the second leg which will give a very big pressure for sturm graz. I would like to put more than 2.5 goals for the result of the second leg. PSV is far better in everything compared with sturm graz at this moment.
No doubt if the way for PSV to be qualified for UCL is far easy due to the big aggregates that are already achieved from the first leg.

I would conclude the board is spoiled the entire club, making them a reluctant team which are imbalance and incapable of winning any significant title. Spurs would only compete in too competition but won't find their space to win, let's hope they changed this motive with time.
