If we can say about the first half that Sevilla was lucky to some extent, then in the first 15 minutes of the second half, Sevilla should have made the score 2-0. I never expected that game will be decided by penalties because City has the quality to score more goals. But the discipline and hard work of the Spanish side restricted City's fierce attack. Penalties are a combination of luck and skills, so Sevilla was once again unlucky. The Spanish side has lost this trophy more than any European club. For me yesterday we saw two very big surprises, the first one its the obvious one, Marseille losing the qualification against Panatinaikos, i ahve to say they have pretty abd luck, they lose the qualy in the last minute and also in extra time they make  goal and was not allowed.

The second one was the victory of AEK against DInamo zagreb. Dinamo its really strong on this stages, i dont know what happen.

Marseille could only win in 90 normal time in second leg, while Panathinaikos had won in the first leg and made the result a draw in 90 normal time. So the match continued to extra time and up to the penalty shootout but unfortunately, Marseille lost on penalties, if Marseille won on penalties, then of course Marseille would qualify. But yes, after all the final result has been obtained and Marseille must fall and congratulations of course to Panathinaikos who managed to qualify.

About Dinamo Zagreb, it seems that they only maximize at half time. When Pep has made a decision then it is already in his plan as for players coming and going I think it is quite normal for a big club.
Gundogan can't be used as a strong reason now because Pep has let him go and now there are several players coming in, even though there is a difference but as long as it doesn't interfere with regeneration I don't think there is a problem with it. Losing De Bruyne for some time is also annoying but with Manchester City having several options I think it can still be covered. This is an opportunity for Kovacic and Rodri to show that they also deserve to be at Manchester City and not under the shadow of Gundogan.

you are right A good match strategy and team performance is more important than just the ability to score goals. The overall performance of the team is very stable if the understanding between the players is good. Even a mediocre team can perform well if the understanding between the players is good. And the Newcastle and Sevilla teams are real examples of this. They do not have a strong squad, but still these two teams are performing well.

I don't like the idea, lets keep the champions league to Europe and Europe only, I personally don't like all this new rules they keep adding to the football that we knew, it's spoiling it and if UEFA does this then they have spoiled football and I'll be in support of the Super league to replace the champions league because they would have taken the prestige of the league by allowing those farmers with their money to come and spoil everything. They'll just bribe the referee with their oil billion and spoil the good game. Also this means they can get younger players as they're participating in champions league which is one of the reasons young players are refusing to go to Saudi because that means they can't play on the big stages (champions league). Thought we have club world cup that they can participate in.

I fully agree with your thinking, UEFA is making too many changes to an historic event, the champions league is and must remain only for European clubs, the Saudis have their own champions, everyone stays where they belong! I also don't like the new format of the champions league very much but I keep the considerations at the end of the 24/25 season to give an opinion. The Superleague has now faded but if it were to regain altitude I would be happy to support it, because UEFA's choices are massacring the world of football
