Borussia Dortmund has done their best, but I saw that several Borussia Dortmund players did not seem ready to play in the Champions League final match with high tension, so several Borussia Dortmund players made their own mistakes.

Dortmund dominated only in the first half, and even then with wasted opportunities because in this match I admit Courtois looked stunning with several saves. When the second half entered the game, the game changed drastically and Madrid controlled it. After Carvajal goal, the mentality of the Dortmund players looked down, followed by Vini goal there was no longer any hope. So this final was too easy to win, the most beautiful match and the perfect farewell for Tony Kroos.

As Valverde told the press after the match "I'm already thinking about winning 16 trophies next season". considering that next season Mbappe will be in the Madrid squad which makes the power of the Madrid king even more unstoppable. Next season Madrid will be even stronger with a new generation that is quite stable.

Talking about Dortmund they have already done a great job being in the final match while some other teams like PSG after spending huge amounts of money and Bayern Munich with all the superstars they have still couldn't be at this level and that is a great achievement for a team like Dortmund considering they usually tried to sell the players they had to earn some more money.
But in the final match, it was a great memory for Real Madrid and their fans because of them winning this game by helping Toni Kroos their player while Kross officially said he is not going to play in the next season anymore.

Big Congratulations to Real Madrid it wasn't a easy match they played there, and also Borussia Dortmund played a nice game, they had lots of scoring opportunities but failed to provide a nice finishing, though most of their opportunity were created from counter and they had several one on one with the goal keeper but luck wasn't on their side else they would have made the games to a penalty shootout. Madrid has proven once more that they are indeed the greatest ballers in the European competition, it was a wonder season for them adding the champions league trophy to their league which they ended in the first positions, it shows they are in a good shape. Next season would be a competitive one.

Their was a lot excitement yesterday and Madrid was quick to score and that was the best strategy they could ever use. And it walked for them. And dortmund actually tried their best also but did not work and Madrid have been planning for weeks for this game and aside the planning the experience is also their, and with all this qualities that Madrid possess no way Dortmund would have won. Their finishing game was also poor yesterday. And the intimation was much. It was as if they were pressured during the game. And now most leagues have ended and yesterday their was no much celebration from real Madrid because winning the Champions League is already something they are use to.

 And even if they had gone to penalty shootout it is still a 50/50 chance  so how sure are they that they are going to win through penalty. Everyone came in for real Madrid and congratulations to them they won the la Liga and also the Champions League thats a mass collection they have gotten their self. I just wish Arsenal can actually do more.

What's interesting is for the player Courtois. He's only played a few times in La Liga and this was his debut in the Champions League and he kept a clean sheet and got 2 trophies easily lol. It looks like Courtois is truly blessed because it doesn't take many matches to get 2 trophies in big competitions.

There were many talks on either Courtois was going to be featured in this UCL finals and Ancelotti didn’t want to spill but, only put out the possibilities and then surprised everyone by allowing Courtois to start. All the pre-match interviews was a means to get Courtois into his best which was very visible on the peach by the many saves he made for Real Madrid, never letting the Adeyemi have a one on one chance with him, running up at the attack just before it fully forms.

One player with a perfect touch all game was Toni Kroos, having both his German side and Spanish side to entertain, he indeed made every set piece he took spectacular. His free kicks were just a tip of the fingers away from goal, perfectly tipped right over the wall with just enough momentum, forcing Gregor Kobel the goalkeeper every time to come up with a near goal save.
He sort for to make a lasting picture of his last appearance and his Carvajal assist made it for him.

So many missed chances for Dortmund and I can say their inexperience at a game like this got the best of them. At least they got the silver wear but, it’s been a long walk for them.

It is undeniable that with his calmness there are at least 3 or 4 crucial saves made by Courtois which indeed indicates that he can really return to his form but on the other hand he is really blessed after previously La Liga managed to get easily now the Champions League with Cleansheet and only 1 match immediately got the trophy which is indeed an achievement that not all goalkeepers can get it

The last match for Kroos in the Champions League ended beautifully and we could see how emotional it was after his club took the lead and he was substituted 4 minutes before the end of normal time it made a very good impression and will be remembered in my opinion. The Sniper always surprises with good passing accuracy and a free kick that was unfortunately saved by Kobel in yesterday's match.

Dortmund's mentality and lack of final experience made them unable to do much even though there were several opportunities that could actually be maximized but the lack of calm in the high atmosphere of the match made Dortmund unable to contribute more and had to lose this match.

Dortmund dominated the match from the first half, but lacked experience and missed many chances to score at least two goals in the first half. The German team's performance was quite good in the first half, I was even doubting Real Madrid winning the second half due to the zero shot on target in the first half, and Dortmund players took control of the ball in the first half. Edin Terzic made a mistake in the second half to subbed off Adeyemi in the 72 minutes of the game because they conceded the first goal 2 minutes after he was been removed. However, Marco Reus deserved to play his last Champions League with the team but since they replaced him with Adeyemi their performance was weak, and they couldn't get the ball through Madrid as they did in the first half.

Congratulations to Real Madrid on winning their 15th Champions League title, we have been waiting for this moment for a long time, Real Madrid may go for the 16th next season because they will have Mbappe in their mix next season.  Modric may remain in the club next season but even if both players leave the club, there is Camavinga, Tchuoameni and Valverde to hold the position. Since Ancelotti signed more contract valid till 2026, I believe he would finish next season at the club and possibly lift his 6th Champions League trophy.

Dortmund are called the "King of bottles" for a reason—they missed too many chances in the first half. I mean they had three big chances but it was so unfortunate they wasted them all. They should have killed the game off in the first half but failed badly, and they paid the ultimate price. While Real Madrid has major experience at this level. I think Real Madrid are luckier, besides they have a lot of experience in the Champions League which they will put to good use in the second half when they couldn't score in the first half. Dortmund just have to be proud of themselves reaching this finals in this UCL competition despite not winning the game, I wish they recover quick from the loss and get back stronger for next season  learning from their very mistakes against another opportunity in the future. Madrid did not play well in the first half. In the first half we only saw Dortmund's dominance. Although Madrid probably had 64% of the ball possession. Yes experienced really played out in yesterday's match. Dortmund really displayed their inexperience during the game. Real Madrid knew that in the Champions league finals scoring opportunities don't come by always, so when you get any scoring opportunity you have to make good use of it and score, that's why Madrid used Jude Bellingham who knows how to score goals, who has a higher conversion rate to play top 9. They wanted to make sure that any slight chance they get should result to a goal. Where as Dortmund were wasteful in front of goals hoping that they will get more and more chances, but it didn't go that way. Madrid on the other hand suffered in the first half and had almost zero shot on target. They waited for their moment in the second half, when they got their first opportunity through the corner it was converted to a goal. Vini Jr goal was the first clear chance  he has had all night in front of goal and he scored it making it 0:2 after just few attempts. It was a well deserved win for real Madrid

This is also special for Toni Kroos because he decided to retire when he achieved great success with his team. They should be proud of themselves for making it up to the Champions League final despite them not beeng among the top five favorites in the beginning of the competition and they are also no among the favorites even after making it to the semifinals, but they shocked the world and make it to the finals, yet they did very well and wasen't lucky to win because they played very well in the finals and they missed opportunities that could have help them win Madrid; but Madrid was very compose and they know how to play final which is the main reason they defeated Dortmund at the end of the match.
The painful part for Dortmund is that they will not play in the Champions League next season because they ended fifth in the Bundesliga table.

The Borussia Dortmund team was really unlucky to enter the finals, despite performing well enough at the start and attacking widely, they couldn't find success. Because many people are saddened to see a ball hit the goalpost and enter the field. But I can say that only because of bad luck, the Borussia Dortmund team did not win this match, but the Real Madrid team worked hard and then they came at the last minute and scored two goals to change their fortunes. In this case I would select the Borussia Dortmund team players as hardworking players because they worked hard but lost to fate.

I would say that Dortmund lost against Ancelotti's match strategy. Dortmund's performance in the first half was very good. A total of probably 8 shots were made by Dortmund's players while Madrid made 2 shots. Although Dortmund dominated the first half, Dortmund's players could not perform very well in the second half.

Dortmund should have scored nothing less than 3 goals in the first half. They had series of corners and couldn't convert any. Madrid wasn't their best in the first half and even up to the 70 minutes of the match. Dortmund fans were the loudest in the stadium so I don't know what will be their excuse. Madrid showed their class late in the match and got what they want. Congratulations to all Madrid fans.

you are right Bellingham did not play well in this match. Bellingham was not even visible in this match. Still, Bellingham had two easy chances. Bellingham was unable to score due to his own errors and excellent saves by Dortmund's goalkeeper.

Toni Kross and Vini performed well in this match. Kross made several key passes in this match. Moreover, Vini's performance in the entire match was eye-catching. Vini was able to break Dortmund's strong defense. And it was possible because of Toni Kross' excellent pass. Madrid's overall gameplay was very good. Along with the attacking players, Madrid's defenders played superbly.

Real Madrid were good at almost all departments in the match, from their goal keeper, defenders, midfield and attack. What only got me surprised was why Bellingham was used a no 9 while Josselu who was the hero in the semi finals was there. I don't know maybe it's because the coach didn't trust him that much but for me Jude Bellingham would have been more effective in the midfield where he has proven himself several times. Another player that was silent was Rodrigo his impact on that match was not felt, maybe the Dortmund players were too good for him to manipulate. I think Joselu time at Madrid is up at Madrid, the coach didn't trust him enough to hand him a start in the final. I was disappointed when I didn't see him in that match. He was the semi finals hero and for me he was treated unfairly.

The reason why Ancelotti started Jude Bellingham over Joselu in the number 9 position could be that Jude Bellingham fit into the tactics he used against Borussia Dortmund. It is wide open that Joselu is not part of the Real Madrid long-term plan, because for Ancelotti to use Jude Bellingham in Joselu's position shows that Joselu can't do what he wants. Big Congratulations to Real Madrid it wasn't a easy match they played there, and also Borussia Dortmund played a nice game, they had lots of scoring opportunities but failed to provide a nice finishing, though most of their opportunity were created from counter and they had several one on one with the goal keeper but luck wasn't on their side else they would have made the games to a penalty shootout.
