It is interesting to see that Manchester United will lose qualifying to the round of 16 in this season of the Champions league even when from the Group A table, it was easier for us to predict Bayern and Manchester United to scale through to the next challenge in the table, unfortunately and unlucky for Manchester United, they are at the bottom of the table with just a 4 points meaning they have only won 1 match and draw in 1. The rest have been failure upon failure.

I didn't really envisaged the efforts that Copenhagen and Galatasaray will put into the games most especially that of the Copenhagen and was just looking at the two elite clubs but as football will have it, this is not the case and that's why there is beauty in football. Your expectations sometimes are beaten by the reality of things on the pitch and every team is bracing up by the day to become stronger and more challenging, so you don't have issues of monopoly of clubs or the likes.

In my opinion, Man United deserved not to qualify because now doesn't seem like the right time. With the club in disarray and lacking support, from players to coaches, failure in the UCL should have dealt a major blow. Ten Hag couldn't push himself, his players had a lot of injuries. Even though today they won over Chelsea, that is not something that can be used as a benchmark. Their opponent was Bayern Munich and there were no gaps that Tenhag could exploit, Bayern Munich strength was in better condition, more stable and more intimidating to face.

Regarding Copenhagen and Galatasaray, they definitely don't want to just share points because it will give Man United an opportunity. So I hope one of them can achieve victory.

Barcelona has always failed to qualify for the group phase in the last two seasons, or more precisely when Lionel Messi left Camp Nou, so Xavi was asked to focus more on overcoming this problem so as not to fail again. To be fair it could very well be because of the team as well, Lewandowski is not playing just 1v1 football on some street, its 11v11 and maybe the team is not giving him the balls that he needs. When you do not pass to a player like him properly, then you end up with a bad result from him, he can't give you the goals you need if you just make him find the score himself, you need to pass him at the right time which is a team thing. I believe that he has done wonderful last year because they really relied on him last year, but this season they are playing other players that can score too, which results with those players trying to shoot more often, and gives him less passes he can finish.

Now I agree with you on that. The players will have to give Robert Lewandowski the ball at the right time to score. But the thing is, now he will start missing some because he is not in his prime anymore. He is getting older and older day by day. I am not saying he is bad or useless already. Barcelona also cannot afford to bring in a better striker for more amount of money. At this point, I actually want Barcelona to sell him to the Saudi league for a huge amount of money and get a good striker for that money who will be younger. But the problem is some young players will probably not want to go to Barcelona unless they really like Barcelona because, at Barcelona, the future is quite uncertain.

That is a very difficult scenario to do because it does not rely on its own side, but rather a match between two other teams that must have a draw, so it is very unlikely to happen even though it is basically who is lucky in a situation like Manchester United.

Personally, Im not expecting much from Manchester United versus Bayern. Bayern's UCL strength makes it difficult. United's tight triumph doesnt ensure a simple ride against a tough opponent. Football is unpredictable, though. United's game at Old Trafford may offer them a mental edge against the odds. Taking advantage and playing with what they have is key. In the second scenario, Copenhagen vs. Galatasaray is anyone's game. A draw is improbable as both sides compete for a spot in the following round. If United beats Bayern and one of them wins, it may imply Europa League for United. Football's complexity is its appeal, right? There are always surprises, and miracles happen in sports.

It's true what you say. I think United would be better off focusing on getting a place in the top four to get a ticket to the Champions League next season. Currently they are in 6th place in the standings and they still have a very big chance of doing that. I'm not sure if they can qualify for the UEFA Europa League. And if you look at United's current quality I think it's better for them to stay focused on the EPL.

Sometimes Criticism makes someone more better,Maguire has suffered criticism and abuse in the hands of their fans,but the player kept on believing in himself and kept on doing what he was supposed to do,and finally,things have changed,he is no longer the topic of the day,rather,he is used as an example to urge other players belt up and  improve.Maguire is really an example to many United players who are performing below expectation to believe in themselves and try to improve on their performance.Manchester United shocked everybody when they won Chelsea who everybody thought were going to win in this encounter in the premier league.

I agree with you, criticism some times is needed to get some one better than they have been as it will most likely go a long way in helping them becoming aware of their performance and know were to and how to improve such that they will escape further criticism, although sometimes it could break some one if not done constructively.

Another person who needs same approach should be Bruno Fernandes, he is one player who I think is making some moves that has been over looked over time and may gradually get an effect on the team if not curbed now, although he has been of good performance before now but currently it's below expectations and it doesn't seem like ten hag is aware or maybe he is one of his fave because he's also doing similar thing with Onana .

They have to try to get it because a position in top four of Premier League will help them having chances to play in Champions League. This chance has many meanings for them, first for their club finance, second for their players with opportunities to play against strong clubs in Europe. Matches in Champions League will help their players learning many great lessons and can help them growing up more.

I am not sure if Bayern Munich will play to win this match. If Bayern Munich is playing to win then I would say winning against Manchester United is not a tough task for Bayern Munich.
