Congratulations to Chelsea, atleast they won an obvious match that is expected of them to win. This is unlike Manchester United who doesn't win an obvious match. If a team is performing so badly but whenever they meet a weak team, they are able to win, it is nice than a team which when they are bad doesn't win even obvious matches in the relegation zone. Manchester United is the reason I am saying this, let us see what they will do against Ipswich Town.

Apart from their victory against Southampton, does Chelsea win any other thing else? Southampton, which you believe Chelsea defeated by four goals, Manchester United had also beaten them both at home and away this season. Manchester United, who were in their worst form, were able to defeat this same team, and you congratulated them on the victory; perhaps you are happy that Chelsea is still in the top four.  Furthermore, Manchester United did not win their last game against Everton, but Chelsea has yet to beat Everton this season. Manchester United defeated Everton in the first leg and drew in the second leg with a great comeback in the second half.

Manchester United will host Ipswich Town today, the first leg of the season when Manchester United visited Ipswich ended in a draw; despite the fact that Manchester United's key players are unavailable to face Ipswich, I believe they will win or draw tonight, as compared to Chelsea, who had players available but still failed to beat Ipswich Town, conceding two goals during the game.

Some interesting results coming from last night's games, Chelsea back at winning after facing a toothless  Southampton who look like a team ready to be relegated looking at the number of games they have failed to collect a single point or get a goal, we also have Aston Villa who I thought will get a result over crystal palace..but unfortunately the boys didn't have much in the tank.

Looking forward to see how the next Liverpool fixture goes, because both team's pack a punch in this fixture and goals should be guaranteed.

I'm happy for Chelsea. It was already an easy fixture for them on paper but their recent form was still worrying. This 4-0 win should help them pull themselves together. I don't want to see them getting out of top 4 easily this season. It would be sad after all that effort in the first part of the season. Every team can have tough periods. Important thing is to get over it as quick as possible.

And it is nice to see this win especially while Palmer isn't in his best form these days. He couldn't make any score contribution in this game as well. But the team effort was good enough to destroy Southampton still.

Arsenal loses to West Ham, Nottm Forest loses to Newcastle - what a perfect opportunity for Man City to jump to the 3rd place and get closer to the 2nd place, but things are not quite going their way. After 25 minutes, they are losing to Liverpool 0-1 at home after an early goal from Salah. Man City are dominating in possession and in shots on goal, and there's still plenty of time left to turn things around. Fingers crossed.

West Ham United football team won the match against Arsenal football team and that was not one sided match because there was only 1 goal in this match which was did by Bowen and he did this goal at 44 minutes of the match. Arsenal football team is one of the best team of the tournament but they could not win last match and this show that they need improvement and they should not underestimate any team because result could be in the favour of any team when luck in  the side of them. Arsenal team has 2nd position on the table but West Ham United team has 16 position on the table.Bowen did goal at 44 minutes of the match when it was requirement of team and after this no player could do any goal in this match.

Chelsea have a lot of things to improve in the next match if they are not moved from their current standings. The decline in performance has dropped very drastically, it can be seen that Chelsea is not consistent in maintaining points in every match. Chelsea started the season perfectly and are in the top 3 positions in the Premier League standings.
The pressure continues to be on Chelsea to secure their hopeless position. If they lose 3 points in the next match, the position will be shifted. Hopefully in the remaining matches Chelsea will have to get up and play as well as at the start. season, so far Chelsea has changed a lot compared to last season.

Pep Guardiola is the main reason why everyone is frighten when facing Manchester City on the pitch. Everyone started thinking of the EPL as farmer's league, it means zero competition in the league following the consecutive winnings and domination of one particular elite team. Manchester City keep the trends rising in all standard but this season is quite different. They fumbled, other elite team that kept close range on the EPL title didn't hesitate to take their chances and they're infront.

Man City dominance in the EPL for the past few years has finally collapsed after several key players suffered injuries, as a result they have difficulty maintaining balance and now have to raise the white flag in the trophy hunt. What Man City experienced is very difficult to happen in Ligue 1, even though PSG performance has declined, they still became champions at the end of the season.
Unlike the EPL, there are still many other strong teams ready to take over the first position. This season Liverpool is at the forefront of the title race, while Arsenal is still very far from expectations.

Chelsea did a lot of good things in this match so it never felt like they could lose this match, in fact they performed very aesthetically in that match. We can say that Chelsea is definitely not in the right position yet, this problem has arisen within Chelsea mainly because they have lost two matches in a row. It may be true that Chelsea won today's match, but in today's match they played against a much weaker team. To be honest when I looked at the Premier League points table this season, I saw that Southampton was the weakest team of all, so it was natural that Chelsea would win against this team.

When Klopp left Liverpool the same thing was said of Liverpool but today they are not just dominating the premier league but also the UCL courtesy of Arne Slot. Who knows Gaurdiolla's era in Manchester City might be over and thus needs to start a new career else where. If City deemed it fit to let him go then their wish should prevail.

Sometimes we don't need to stick to a system because of it's past, it could be the glory of that past no longer applies to the present. If City has found a perfect replacement for Pep then let them.do their experimentation and see how well it ends who knows they might bring back the competitiveness in City yet again.

I do tell people that with good players and average manager, a team can win any competition but with excellent manager and average or bad players, a team will only suffer in the any league they found their self. Liverpool has Klopp as one the great managers and Liverpool has combined quality players that's why when Klopp left and was replace by Arne Slot as average manager, the team is doing well and topping every league competition they find their selves.

I can't say the same thing for Arsenal because they don't have one of the best players with average manager. Manchester City used to have best players and best manager but the two were compromise. The manager was having marital instability and loss of wealth due to divorce and the diversity of players lead to the fall of the build of the team and that's why they are having bad time processing every games they have, they are now programmed in their head like they are built for failures.

If Newcastle opens up the game well it can be a really good match and Newcastle might surprise Liverpool here. The main problem for Newcastle is their defence,they concede too many goals and we seen that in the last match. They score a lot but concede aswell so i think if their defence is on point against Liverpool they wont lose the game.

If Pep really turned EPL into the farmer league, many people who are not fans of his club would be so mad. I have seen so many people who hatred to him so much just because he won 4 PL trophies in a row.

We might be seeing people yapping about here and there on Pep. So, the god has nerfed his club, and he can rebuilding his winning club back from the scratch.

I know some persons may think his divorce saga could be responsible for the club's poor performance, but they should not forget that City sold some key players without replacement and also Rodri's injury really affected the team. Based on what he has achieved for the club I think he deserves atleast one year to get them back to where they belong. But If he fails to do this after another chance, then they can part ways with him.

As the club's most successful manager I totally agree with your opinion that sacking Pep Guardiola would be a huge mistake by Manchester City's management. He's achieved so much with the club in his 8 seasons as the club manager by winning the English Premier League 6 times, 1 UEFA Champions League trophy, 2 FA Cup and 4 League Cup trophies. That said, I don't think they can also do much of the Spanish manager decides to leave at the end of the season probably because of his poor results with the club this season. In all his managerial career, Guardiola haven't finished in a position less than 2nd but he's very likely to do that this season and if that happens, he might consider leaving the club at the end of the season.

They won't sack him, but lots of things are happening in Guardiola's life. He is now getting divorced from his wife and frankly, I sometimes thought he is busy with other things in his mind. Usually he is going crazy on the sideline from the first to the last minute, but this season he was absent sometimes and the whole team didn't work together very well.

Now I think he will make a cut in his private life and fully focus on Manchester City once again because I doubt that he wants to leave his legacy behind with such a disappointing season. The Champions League is still very high on his list and he wants that title certainly once more.

Newcastle will break their bad records against Liverpool in EPL if that happens. They always got bad results when they fought Liverpool. The problem is that i can't really favor them to get the draw. This is because Liverpool is getting its comfy after they widen their gap from Arsenal.

I expect Liverpool will play without even getting any pressure. They will always threatening newcastle's defenders. Let me to predict the game will ended with 3-1 Liverpool take three points.

Judging from Pep Guardiola journey with Man City, I am quite sure that the mistake lies in Pep delay in preparing his team regeneration. Because it was quite evident when Rodri was absent for a full season, Kevin de Bruyne had started to falter and become blunt, Grealish was inconsistent, Foden status was often unclear, Ederson was getting weaker and several solid Man City defenders were losing confidence, resulting in many gaps opening up. Haaland as a striker couldn't do much because the flow of the ball stopped when he didn't have a reliable supplier. Pep realized that in the middle of the season so he quickly recruited new players such as Marmoush, Khusanov, and Savinho.

Arsenal fans doesn’t have any options than to accept the second position every season because that's the best they can get. Even during Arse Wenger's reign, Arsenal was a business club so I don't see why they will be mad at Arteta who is always finishing on second positions recently.

In the past few seasons in the English Premier League, the teams in the first position of the points table have changed, but the teams in the second position of the points table have not changed. We have seen Arsenal finish second in the points table for the past few seasons. Arsenal have been competing hard with Manchester City for the last few seasons and they have finished second in the points table with a tough competition with Manchester City but this season they are not competing with Manchester City but are again competing with Liverpool. Now Liverpool are at the top of the English Premier League points table and Arsenal are second in the points table. Arsenal and Liverpool also have a considerable gap in points, so looking at the performances of the two teams and the current position of the two teams, it seems that maybe Liverpool will win the Premier League title and Arsenal will finish the season in second place again.

If we compare from wenger era at Arsenal, they are actually much better and stronger now in  last few seasons, But their weakness are not different at all still mentality and also consistency, althogh they still play fast, aggressive, and organized, but without the depth of a winning mentality and consistency with good squad depth of course it is in vain.
Last season their looked very Spartan competing with Manchester City but when Guardiola squad stumbled this season, Isn't this season should be an opportunity for them to win the title?
But unfortunately they don't have what it takes(mentality and consistency) to be winner, so I think they're not yet ready to become champions and Arsenal fans should accept that the reality although it is bitter .

Manchester City won the Premier League title in the last season but Arsenal's performance in that season was excellent and Arsenal fought hard until the last match and until the last match it seemed which team might win the Premier League title. Because in that match the equation was that the winner would win the Premier League title but in the last match Manchester City won and Arsenal lost and that was where the result of the match was decided. However, even if Arsenal failed to win the title, they proved that they can still compete. Arsenal performed competitively last season and they are doing so competitively this season too so Arsenal fans can expect their team to fight Liverpool till the last match. If Arsenal can overtake Liverpool to win the title this season, it might be a season to remember for them.

Are you insinuating that this is a gadiola's problem or lack of proper tactics that's disturbing the team? As a coach, pep is still acing and there is no reason to think that it's alright to get him to exit from the club. Someone that has led the team to consistent victory of the domestic league and have record that only a few coach can equal deserves more than any form of consideration of his sack. If by chance or due to the frustration he's facing now he eventually leaves this team, just know that it's going to be really tough for any coach that will take over from him. The track record and standard that gadiola has set at Manchester city is one that will place any new coach that is just coming into the team at a tough spot in terms of achieving anything close to that.

Even with the kind of season he's had, he still has a chance of remaining in the champions League for next season and if that's what they are able to achieve before the end of the season, it's going to be a good one to start working from. Ancelotti had his own downtime even with the players in the team and even the almighty sporting CP coach that was brought to Manchester United as her Messiah is not facing anything better. It's part of what's associated with the coaching job. Set backs are part of it but considering a sack for just a single season of poor performance will make it look like they don't deserve the result he has built over this years for them.

The funniest thing is that Arsenal is back to back trophyless. I wonder whether they still keep their PL victory arch last season. They're pure bottlers now.  

Yeah, Arsenal's hands are once again left empty. People continue to make memes out of their situation. Normally I'd like to see Arsenal winning a PL trophy also but they just can't. They should somehow break this loser image of them. I don't know maybe it's about not having a squad good enough for this target. They have suffered with serious injuries too. Saka is out above all else and there is nobody else to keep the club as productive as before. 

I want to see how capable this club will be after signing a star centre-forward this summer. I still want to believe there will be something changing for real. In a positive way. I don't think the problem is Arteta. He is the one who saved this club from a terrible condition.

Very difficult in the sense that you can't compare how competitive and tough the Premier League is to that of Ligue 1, in Premier League the moment anything happens to you as a team or football club either by loss of form or the club has so many players on injuries, the rivalry team will immediately take that in their advantage, whereas this is not so in the Ligue 1, we've seen several times where PSG is not totally inform and yet lift their league trophy at the end, this barely happens when it comes to the Premier League, the moment you lose form in a particular season other teams takes advantage of it and climb up the table.
