With the winning streaks of liverpool giving them more tempo, it'll be difficult to expect the reds to perform badly in the remaining matches. Arsenal is far behind and isn't that competent to win all their games, I wouldn't vouch for Arsenal to catch up with Liverpool. They should prepare for next season.

Two seasons ago Arsenal performed well and always got second place in the standings with Man City dominating. And this season when Man City was down, they did not take advantage of it well. Instead,d it is a great opportunity for Liverpool to lead now.
Next season Arsenal may have to make changes to improve their performance and also their level of consistency throughout the season. If Man City next season returns to its good form, coupled with Liverpool it will certainly be difficult for Arsenal to compete.

Games of this nature has always appeared to be very simple for the side with all of the advantage but am usually skeptical about relegation team's. Like the last kicks of a dieing horse they can create an offset in an unexpected way making the game difficult for Liverpool.

Checking through the past matches Liverpool has played this season and won, much of them with the underdogs were won with less than 2 or 3 goals. So I can't be too sure of a total of over 2.5 in this game even tho it's looking possible.

I have no doubt that Liverpool will win against Southampton. Southampton's defense is very weak. And we always see Liverpool playing well against weak defenses. But I don't think Liverpool will win by a very large margin.

Before facing Southampton, Liverpool will face PSG in the Champions League match. This match is very important for Liverpool. Moreover, if they want to win by a large margin, Liverpool will have to play completely attacking tactics. If players play attacking tactics for the entire match, the risk of injury increases. Liverpool is playing on a busy schedule. Right now, arne slot will definitely not want any important player in his squad to get injured. If Amorim fails to improve Manchester United performance by next season, then I won’t be surprise that Amorim might not really stay long at Manchester United before he will be sacked. With the way Manchester United play, I don't see them qualifying over Real Sociedad. Real Sociedad is a much better team than Man United and I might even go out on a limp and say they will win Man United home and away. Against Barcelona they rested a lot of their key players for the United game and some where suspended, meaning the team United will be facing will be a very different team from  the one that faced Barcelona. Manchester United had easy games in the league phased but they still struggled with a lot of teams.

Anyway this summer needs to go well for this club. Otherwise the board might not be patient with Amorim as much as they were with Erik ten Hag.

It's going to be difficult for United to have a good summer.
If they don't win the Europa League, that would mean no European football for the next season and good players will like to go to a team that plays in the Champions League.
Another reason I believe the summer won't be good for United is because they are known for signing shiny toys instead of what they actually need.

When Guardiola said that he doesn't believe that anyone in the Premier League will be able to repeat City's achievement in the coming seasons, I think that he wasn't bragging, but simply assessing the situation adequately.
