Says who, it was obvious in yesterday match that Arsenal game tactics was far better than that of Maresca and Arsenal has all their complete squad in the team unlike, City that a few key players have left for another club.

However, winning the community shield is a good start for Arsenal but that doesn't mean that if they don't play better than last season, they'll be able to defend the title.

I would say that City’s main problem was the absence of Silva and Rodri in midfield. They were struggling there, losing the key battles, and that’s where Arsenal started building their attacks. City’s defense also looked far from its best.

And overall, I think you’re right, I believe Guardiola’s absence has had a huge impact on the team. With Maresca, this will be a completely different City, assuming of course, that he stays at the club as head coach for a long time.

It is going to be a tough season for City. While betting sites list very low odds for them to win the title, I personally don't think it's possible for City to become champions.

Not all criticism directed at Arsenal in every match—including friendlies—is a sign of concern for the team I support, Arsenal. I do this every time Arsenal plays. In friendlies, I tend to view Arsenal’s matches as opportunities to test players and tactics.

Arsenal’s 3-0 victory in the Community Shield led me to conclude that Arteta is still capable of performing well as a strategist, with the ability to integrate new signings. Tzolis, a newly acquired player, demonstrated his quality, and his performance also serves as early proof that Arteta was right to recommend the players he wanted.

I don't know why Arsenal fans are really concerned about what people think when they win a trophy, do you want opposition fans to support and jubilate for your victories? Definitely not. So I think they shouldn't expect anything from opposing fans.

Community shield is not a trophy many regard and it would have been different if they had won against Guardiola's City. Maresca is new to the club and so we don't expect everything to be perfect just yet so even before the game I predicted Arsenal's win I just didn't expect that much goals.  The team lost some players and everything seems not to be stable just yet.

Having a new coach is not an excuse though so congratulations to Arsenal on this victory.

I never Doubted on Arsenal. If you reached to the UCl final that's the biggest achievement for you show to the hater and then you win the premier league as well so the debate is over on doubt. This Arteta team is build different with alot of hard work and passion. Community shield is just the start of this season and then later you will see how this team end up at the end of the season. I think Arsenal can win premier league very easily because the favorite man city is no longer good as they are. So my clear favorite for the next season is Arsenal. If you watch the community shield matchs Arsenal humiliate Manchester City so the main obstacles to stop from wining premier league is clear.

I don't think anyone is criticizing Arsenal but what do you expect from people lol 🤣, fans can be boring and annoying most times but you just have to swallow every shit they will make for your health sake because they can infect you emotionally and sometimes it can lead to unnecessary fight or argument. This is football and it is a normal thing, if it was easy those folks club would have been the one to play that cup but it was not easy so congratulations to Arsenal on their victory.

I don't see Manchester City getting a healthy season from what I'm seeing because Enzo Maresca is causing a heavy damage on the team, nothing fun is happening. Same pattern of substitution as when he was at Chelsea and now we are seeing the same thing. Why is Semenyo still on the pitch and few minutes ago he substituted Haaland, something Pep Guardiola has never done, City need to start searching for a new manager because I don't see Enzo Maresca lasting long at the club.

Don’t be too quick to judge Maresca and say he’s going to have a bad season with Manchester City. One game alone isn’t enough to draw any conclusions. Yes, Manchester City’s performance against Arsenal wasn’t great. But did you know that Maresca is still in a transitional phase following the handover from Guardiola to him? Besides, he made substitutions in this match to prevent injuries before the Premier League season begins. More precisely, Maresca is still experimenting with his tactics. Therefore, let’s wait until after a few matches early in the season before we can conclude whether Maresca is the right fit as Manchester City’s coach or not.

Arsenal played well yesterday, and they were able to win the trophy, they played better than Manchester City in the match. With the performance that Manchester city displayed in the match, next season is not really going to be a easy season for Manchester city, they definitely going to struggle in most matches because they have a weak midfield. They performed below my expectation in the match, and if that’s who they going to perform when the season start, then they going to have a terrible season.

Maresca will have to look for ways to fix things early, I don’t think Manchester city fans are going to have enough patience with Maresca, they are already use to winning under Pep Guardiola, if they can’t continue winning under Enzo Maresca, then the fans will start requesting for his sack.

However, winning the community shield is a good start for Arsenal but that doesn't mean that if they don't play better than last season, they'll be able to defend the title.

It’s really a good start for them, starting a season with a trophy is really a nice one for them, it shows that they are already prepared for next season. Let’s wait and see if Arsenal will be able to defend the title.

🔵The defeat against Arsenal exposed some clear issues for Manchester City —✅
1.Haaland, Doku, Anderson, O’Reilly and the others didn’t play any pre-season matches. Because of that, the squad had problems integrating them.
2.Anderson used to play as a No. 6 at Nottingham Forest, but Maresca played him a little higher today. Kovacic played in Anderson’s position.
3.Instead of Nico González, Kovacic was included in the starting lineup.
4.Donnarumma had a poor game against Arsenal. On the other hand, Raya was outstanding.
5.Cherki became more attacking after coming on. City controlled the match, and it would have been better to bring Cherki on earlier.
Overall, City’s defeat was actually a good thing. There are new signings, and the team needs time to become stronger.💣✨

I thought this game could be more exciting and tight, but Arsenal clearly showed something different. This is not the final we expected, although not a prestigious final, still the meeting of Man City and Arsenal is important enough to assess the extent of the difference in strength. Some would say it's too early, but I agree that Arsenal are much better prepared for next season than Man City.

So as you can see i put my bag on Arsenal believing they have better chemistry with the same coach who won them EPL title last season.
I don't underrated CIty's side, but Maresca is new, and he's never beat Arsenal when he was at Chelsea. Although Maresca gets improved squad compared to what he got at Chelsea, but i don't even think it will change the result.

But it will feel a bit weird to see Arsenal will play without Trossard who often helped them scored in crucial game. What's your choice?

After watching Arsenal play against Manchester City in the FA Community Shield final all I can say is that they are going to dominate the premier league for a long time, they are going to win the Premier League title again and again and no team in the Premier League can stop them.
Right now Arsenal has the best midfield in premier league and also the best defense, so it will be very difficult for another team to win the premier league title.
Arsenal has a complete squad, if they can sign another winger that is very good they will be unstoppable, I believe Arsenal can lift the champions league title this season because they can stand any team in Europe right now.
The coach has been very good and the Arsenal management has been very patient with him too, and this is the reason they are this strong.

Sounds like you’re already making excuses for Manchester City. Wasn’t it Pep Guardiola’s City that Arsenal beat last season to become premier league champions? So what are you on about? I’m not going to give City a pass because they changed managers, Liverpool hired Arne Slot after Klopp, and he won the league in his first season. What’s stopping Maresca ( the manager Pep recommended) from doing the same?

True, a lot of people where having doubt about how they will play this coming season, especially after their pre season games. The community shield game has show that Arsenal still have the best the in the league. The beat Manchester city 3-0 in a final is a big statement. The premier will start this weekend and for me Arsenal are still strong favorite to win the league.

As for city, they need to start living in reality, pep is gone and it won’t always be the way it use to be. They need to know that the expectations won’t be the same again. It was a poor game from them yesterday, especially in that defense, just like you said. Let see if they will bring in more players before the window closes.

Arsenal was already a team we should watch closely this season because they will most definitely fight for the title for the second time after winning it last season under pep Guardiola last management for Manchester City. Pep Guardiola may have shown to them that he’s the stumbling block that’s stopping them from winning the title all this years, and for them to have broken that and won it last season, they will feel more confident to win it again now that Pep Guardiola has left the premier league. This is a good start for them and all teams in the premier league should be ready for them this coming season. Arsenal looks strong and complete to win the trophy again.

With the way Manchester City performed against Arsenal yesterday, if that's how they will play under new manager honestly they will be a big problem for them. Because I don't think they'll be in a better side to win premier league title as they were under Pep Guardiola. Although I know the absence of Rodri now it's going to make things difficult for them, even though Manchester city fans don't want to admit it because they think Rodri is an injury prone player. When Kelvin Debryune left Manchester City we saw how his impact was felt in that midfield and now Manchester City will play without Rodri and without their best manager Pep Guardiola, they will definitely face a serious challenges this coming season. Currently with Arsenal teamwork they are in the better position to take over the premier league.
