My concern is Manchester united. I really feel bad for them. How can this be possible? A team that was a center of attraction towards the end of last season has become a team of poor performance and ridicule. They have been defeated today again by Chelsea, 2 goals to nothing. The future of Micheal Carrick in Manchester united is in jeopardy now, because his performance in the team is getting to bad day by day. I don't know wether this is a consensus agreement by the players to send Carrick out of the team or they are just underperforming and they don't know what to do again. Micheal Carrick might lose his job now. Let's see what will be United's decision as regards Carricks future.

Am not even surprised at what happened to Manchester United what did we expect in the first place we should understanding that Manchester does not have what it takes and it is better the way the game ended, that is how it should have ended because Chelsea is far stronger than Manchester United as the case maybe a lot of people thought because they performed well last season was what gave the the confidence for people to think they will performed better.

They are getting what they deserved because in there previous games they have been conceding a lot of goals so that should be enough for their fans to understand that there is nothing to except they they find a way of improving the club nothing will change and they need to work on that club because their fans are already getting tired of supporting that club, and you hardly find their fans talking because they can not even talk and I don't blame them and Chelsea fans are the onces so happy.

i can’t say the same for maresca. city has suffered only its second loss. they started the season with 7 wins, but have now lost 2 in a row. united on the other hand is in terrible shape. it looks like the end of the road for carrick. there’s no way to justify just 1 win in 9 games. if crystal palace takes points from tottenham, manchester united will finish the week in the relegation zone. in my opinion carrick has completely run out of credit. it’s only a matter of time before he’s fired.

Maresca is no failure. Two losses out of nine matches isn't a bad stat. This same Brighton won Arsenal with a 3 goals at home. The two games Man City lost in a row were against teams that are aggressively attacking big teams. Aston Villa and Brighton are unpredictable when they encounter big teams. Man City tried to have limited the number of goals they conceded against both clubs. I think Maresca has some home work to do against the return leg for this two clubs but in the main time he is doing just his best and it is not bad at all.

In the first half, Man United created 3 clear-cut chances and looked even slightly better than Chelsea. However, Chelsea stepped it up significantly in the second half. On the other hand, Man United showed just how inconsistent they are. The Mancunians were playing decent football, but then they simply fell apart. To make matters worse, Lisandro Martinez, already on a yellow card, lunged with an elbow into Fofana's head, deservedly receiving a second yellow and a red card, letting his team down. Yet another defeat for Manchester, and the club has already dropped into the relegation zone.

Manchester city lost. Seeing the result, I was not surprised at all. Considering home condition, city were considered the favorites. But their past record against Brighton was not pleasant one. For this exact reason, I avoided placing any bet. Those who staked on Brighton's win undoubtedly  made massive profit today. 

Brighton's main strength was their defense. After securing lead just 11 minute into the match , their primary target was  to keep defense tight and not concede any goal. There was no lack of effort from city's boys. Even after taking 20 + shot, they could not score any single goal.

Manchester city has lost two consecutive match. An opportunity has now been created for Arsenal to  claim top spot of the table for first time.

What a relief from Chelsea

It's a good one that they managed to win the match, but I would not say they performed well today, if not for a little brilliance Rogers used at that moment the odds of a goal from Chelsea would be very low except Estevao pulled up one of those his hangs successfully.

I must say Estevao is a better player than Neto, the way he finished that offside goal was Indeed world class and Neto had the same opportunity on the other side of the post and wasted it, if they give the boy more playing time he will definitely improve.

It is very wrong to say that Maresca is a failure at this stage when he is still maintaining a top four position in the Premier League table. Even if he loses more than two matches, I will not say that Maresca is a failure, as far as Manchester City are still in the top four of the table.It is when Manchester City's position drops to around eighth or tenth on the table that I will start to say that it is a failure. But right now, Manchester City are still among the teams at the top of the table, which means they still have a high chance of winning this Premier League title.Just like you said, any team can lose to the two teams that Manchester City have lost to. Tomorrow, Arsenal will play against Liverpool, and there is no assurance that Arsenal will beat Liverpool. If Arsenal fail to win and draw against Liverpool, Manchester City will remain in first position because of their goal difference.

they are truly poorly managed and have drifted away from their identity... it has become the clearest proof that you cannot achieve success simply by spending money and signing players. their current state is genuinely sad.

Manchester United's next two matches are against Aston Villa and Liverpool. Their next two Champions League matches are against Roma and Sporting CP. This certainly means Manchester United are losing both the matches they have in the Champions League and the Premier League. If they should surprise us, that will be fine, for Carrick to have a breath of air from the tension and insult rendered on him for Manchester United's poor performance

The only way that Manchester United will get a draw in one of the four matches that you listed here is it they changed the coach before playing the matches and if the players are totally replaced if not then you don't expect them to see draw in any of the games.

The players are playing with no focus, no zeal and zero tactics. They will play all the games this season without winning if they continue like this because every team have their own pattern if they don't follow it they will achieve nothing.

Aston Villa and Liverpool should know the best way to defeat them so it will but be a difficult game for them and as for Roma, if they are looking for a good way to defeat Manchester United they will just go back to their United and Como game after watching the replay they will see the loophole in the team then capitalize on it to attack them hard then score goals because the team has zero defensive tactics.

Same here I also expected this to happen and even gambled on the match for Brighton to win or draw the match, Brighton have been very serious in the league this season, they have been playing well and even had a great fight against Manchester City last week, but were unfortunate to have loss to city in the penalties. If they can continue with this current form, they might be able to qualify to the champions league next season.

Had it been Martinez didn't get a red card Chelsea could have still won the match so I hope that Manchester United fans won't say that they lost the match as a result of the red card. Morgan Rogers is one powerful signing that Chelsea made in last transfer window and he's really playing according to his worth. Before this game started i was analysing the strength of both teams and I discovered that Chelsea's attacks are more dangerous than that of Manchester United but because of their long time rivalry made me not to be decisive on who I predicted to win but I was more confident about Chelsea winning the match. Seeing them climb to the 4th position in the league table is nice but it doesn't mean they are title contenders..

No doubt, the red card contributed significantly to why they lost but, there was no winning for them in this game either. It certainly wasn’t going to be an easy game and Chelsea wasn’t going to lose to a Manchester United that isn’t in form this season at the Stamford Bridge. The M. Roger’s goal was one of the easiest in the world, not because it was just a tap in but, the fact that the defenders were rather watching than trying to stop him. Allowing him run all the way while they were expecting him to drop a pass and he never did, instead proceeded to take the ball himself once he was well within range.

Chelsea 2 - 0 Manchester United

I realize that Manchester United was playing away from home in this match and playing away is always difficult but one of their players also received a red card in the 63rd minute. This was a major blow to United’s chances of securing a draw; while scoring two goals is never easy, it certainly wasn’t impossible, given that there were still 30 minutes left to play. However, facing an opponent with 11 men while down to just 10 players made the task extremely difficult.

To reiterate, the biggest mistake made by the Manchester United manager was his stubborn refusal to sign quality forwards. I have no idea what he was thinking, believing that the attack from last season would be sufficient or that things would work out with the return of Rashford ( who, frankly, no longer seems capable of playing at a professional level ). I simply don’t understand his reasoning. Now, he is living through a nightmare.

AS Roma - Manchester United (a Champions League match that I believe Manchester United will lose)

Manchester United - Aston Villa (a Premier League match; Manchester United will lose this one, and they could end up in the relegation zone)

Liverpool - Manchester United ( they will lose again )

Perhaps it is time for the board to dismiss Michael Carrick, otherwise Manchester United risks being relegated. That’s 9 matches and only 1 win not a good result.

It’s crazy to think what’s happening to Manchester United right now after getting pumped that they’re back and have found a savior and a new anchor last season. This season they’re just falling like a badly placed pack of cards.

All the games you predicted, from the look of things that’ll be the exact result in each one of this games. Michael Carrick Hero last season, Villain now. Some Manchester United fans say he’s not the problem so let them continue.

Some Manchester United fans believe that some key players want Michael Carrick out.  They believe that some of these key players are intentionally underperforming to force the club to mount pressure on the coach. Those in this school of thought believe that Carrick should be sacked and a new coach should be appointed. But how did he manage to help the club win games last season and aid the club in qualifying for the UCL? Carrick's sacking is around the corner. I will not be surprised if he is sacked even today.

Manchester United losing is not a reason for this moment. They even crushed Como and Bournemouth in the last week so I don't feel that it came as a surprise when Manchester United lost to Chelsea.

Their form is still just as bad and that can't be denied to anyone because it seems like every week for now we can't expect too much from Manchester United.
With the results they get then they are currently only 1 level above Crystal Palace in the relegation zone with the same points.

I'm pretty sure the fans must feel annoyed by this because since the beginning of the season we always see some fans expect a lot to Carrick especially with the results of last season which were very good but this season 9 matches in domestic competition with 1 win this obviously makes great expectations destroyed.

Manchester United did had a last moment comeback last year but if we look at them for a few more years, they are an below average team trying not to relegate.
I'm more concerned about the Manchester City being 1-0 behind Brighton in the 74th minute that too in their own home ground. A loss or a draw at the moment would benefit Arsenal and it was also a good chance for Haaland to have more goals than the Manchester United team. They still have time and are attacking enough, I believe they'll at least put a goal and make it to a draw. Brighton has gone into defensive and would make it hard for them.

2 Manchester became 2 clowns in the week and I was upset by the Manchester City defeat because they were on my parlay list.

I know Brighton are not easy opponents even in the previous few days they managed to hold City to a draw in the EFL Cup. But with the full power they have Manchester City should be able to do better than this in their next game in the EPL.
For Manchester United I put this club aside because I know they are difficult to win but for Manchester City there is a slightly bigger expectation.

Arsenal now have a greater chance but their opponent is Liverpool obviously this is not easy it's just that they have to take advantage of this opportunity because the top of the table position in sight after the results are less than the maximum obtained by Manchester City today.

Huge game tomorrow at Anfield as Liverpool take on Arsenal. I’m sure everybody that is a neutral will look forward to watching it.

As a Liverpool fan I am feeling nervous, we are starting to click under Iraola but it will be a big test of where we are at the moment. Obviously Arsenal are expected to finish above us, Arteta has been there ages and he has a real settled style with players who know what he wants. Barcola, Isak and Rio can destroy any team though, I think we have a chance. If we can somehow win it would be a huge statement.
