It's not a big deal for me even if Manchester United beat Chelsea today. Manchester United always beat Chelsea regardless of their form even in their worst season, they normally manage to get a result against Chelsea. To be honest, it doesn't prove anything if they beat them today. Personally, I won't use this match to restore my confidence in Manchester united unless they beat the likes of City and Arsenal or at least they can win 3 or more games consecutively irrespective of the opponents they face. Winning against Chelsea is important for them but all I'm saying is it won't make me to believe they've bounce back and regain their confidence.

I don't even think that it will be possible for Manchester United to win Chelsea because they have wasted their best chances in the first half playing goalless. Chelsea have already broken the deadlock on the 50th minutes with a goal from Rogers to put them one goal up and the score line is 1-0. I wonder how Manchester United will be able to equalize this goal and score another. United have already lost this game from my own side.

Even if Manchester United did not wast their chances in first half and they manage to take the lead they will not win Chelsea because they cannot defend the lead. Chelsea was even supposed to score in first half i do not know why they have to wait until 50th minute to open the scoring. There is no chance for Manchester United to equalize against Chelsea because they are playing with 10 men and Chelsea has utilize the advantage to score another goal, which gives Chelsea a two goal lead. Manchester United players should focus on defending now so that Chelsea will not score more goals and humiliate them.

Martinez, the centre back, received two yellow cards in the 59th and 63rd minutes, which automatically resulted in a red card. Chelsea then scored, with Palmer converting a penalty. Given the circumstances, another defeat for Manchester United now seems inevitable. I don't know what else the club are waiting for. The mistake Martinez made effectively cost them the match. Manchester United lost to Chelsea as well, and the manager will likely be sacked following this game. However, I don’t believe it was his fault the players were simply very poor. In truth, the squad should have been overhauled before the start of this season; since that didn’t happen, Manchester United’s situation has become even worse.

You can tell that the players are phycologically down, a lot needs to be done to revive their confidence. See how Rogers easily got past the defense and scored a fantastic goal and the second goal was also a cheap mistake by Lizandro Manchester United that led to penalty, you can tell that the players are no longer comfortable with playing for the team, lot of them have given up.

At this point, anyone would be right to call Manchester United a finished team, they could end up in the relegation area before December, they're in 16th position and don't look like a team that could win the next match. Carrick should resign before he leave in a more embarrassing way.

What a relief from Chelsea and a Halloween horror show for Manchester United. Chelsea had a very terrible first half but bounced back in the second half with a very good performance, goals from Morgan Rogers and cole Palmer secured all 3 points for chelsea as they moved to 4th in the premier league table. Chelsea should have really scored more but at the end it was the 3 points that matters.

I think the Manchester United board will make a big decision before the next 24hrs, I think Carrick will be sacked after this defeat. If Manchester United have converted those chances from the first half it would have been an entirely different game.

Carrick may already know he will be shown the way to the exit door as that is the direction this is all leading to. Its the right time blames are to be channelled apparently and not to someone innocent. Just as mentioned, if we carefully analyse today's game against Chelsea you will agree with me that the blame is meant for the players and not the coaches because they came up with an excellent game pattern and a suitable formation capable of giving them an easy victory in today's game  but the players messed things up and made Michael Carrick look stupid in front of fans and club management.
From what i saw today its obvious that the fault is directly from the players and not the coach as it used to be before now. They had the chances desired fora victory but lost it all just to make the coach look stupid.

The match ended 2-0. The expected result was as many football fans expected Manchester United to lose. Chelsea were performing well from the start and kept putting pressure on United defence and attacking one after another, although they failed to score in the first half, but they scored the first goal in the 50th minute of the match and the second goal came from a penalty. Lisandro Martínez's red card and the team reduced to 10 men did not concede any more goals after that, but Chelsea's attack was relentless in trying to score more goals.

Is Carrick still needed by the team? I think the news of his dismissal will be out any time now.

Manchester United might actually see Chelsea and decides to chin up, that 2-1 victory you are seeing, might actually be in favor of Manchester United instead of Chelsea. I don't see Manchester United losing that encounter, at best it might be a draw. We all saw how well Chelsea performed against Liverpool some few days back, you could easily see that they could not dominate Liverpool to a large extent, for me I feel it was more of an average team play. If City loss this game then this will be their second consecutive loss of the season. While a win today will help Brighton in closing the points gap with Arsenal and City.

Carrick did his best but the players we are the one at fault because the kind of chances they have during the first half is even enough for them to win this game but unfortunately they didn't see it as an opportunity and that was why the game ended that way. I was expecting a very wonderful performance from Manchester United both in first half and second half, but I was disappointed most especially the second half.

I am not really happy with the condition of Manchester United because such a great team cannot just go down like that but I will still give them time. The game would have ended 3:0 if Chelsea 3rd goal was disallowed. It was expected that Chelsea would defeat Manchester United, and yeah the game just ended according to people expectations. The moment Lisandro Martínez was given red card i knew it was over for Manchester United because they cannot stop Chelsea not to take 3 points after been reduced to 10 men, but i was surprised Chelsea could not score two goals after the red card. Any team can lose to Chelsea in the premier league, since Michael Carrick was not sacked after losing to weak teams he will not be sacked because he lost to Chelsea, so i think Michael Carrick would still be needed by Manchester United management.

When it is not your time, everything will just work against you and that is the situation with Manchester united.  in the first half, it was going pretty well for Manchester united but as usual in their dull way of playing, they could not take advantage of all the opportunity they had. getting a lot of yellow card was another disaster for them and if they were not lucky enough, the end result of that game would have been worse off than it ended. if Chelsea had it well upfront, they would have scored a lot of goals but they are another set of unserious team that just managed to win this one because Manchester united are in their worst of form.

for the now, the conversation is all about the bad performance of Manchester united and the fact that they have been losing games back to back. if we talk about Chelsea, it is clear that this Chelsea team is another flop in their own end.

Brighton are playing as if they’re on steroids - in the first half, they dominated City in terms of possession. And it paid off - the teams went into the break with the score 1-0 in Brighton's favour. I see that City has evened things out in terms of possession, and I’m hoping they can turn the match around by the end, don’t want my multibet for today to fall apart on the very first leg.

Chelsea 2 - 0 Manchester United

I realize that Manchester United was playing away from home in this match and playing away is always difficult but one of their players also received a red card in the 63rd minute. This was a major blow to United’s chances of securing a draw; while scoring two goals is never easy, it certainly wasn’t impossible, given that there were still 30 minutes left to play. However, facing an opponent with 11 men while down to just 10 players made the task extremely difficult.

To reiterate, the biggest mistake made by the Manchester United manager was his stubborn refusal to sign quality forwards. I have no idea what he was thinking, believing that the attack from last season would be sufficient or that things would work out with the return of Rashford ( who, frankly, no longer seems capable of playing at a professional level ). I simply don’t understand his reasoning. Now, he is living through a nightmare.
