Haaland is of course a great player there is no doubt about that, but he is not playing well during big games, that's the bad thing about him that he needs to work on. When he is playing against other premier league teams that are not great, he scores bunch of goals, it's easy to score hattrick against these teams, but when it comes to UCL for example, or even FA cup finals to be fair, he is nowhere to be found.

That's the issue he had for two years in a row now, even when they won the treble, he wasn't scoring on the final games, even semi finals. This is why he needs to keep scoring and keep that momentum and then start scoring on those very crucial important games as well, that would make things a lot better for him.

Without scoring on those games, he will just be Kane and nothing more, he will never become a superstar, he will become a player that everyone likes and has a lot of scoring titles, but he will not be considered big like historical football figures.

Horrible performance by Manchester United...    Casemiro is a joke and the defense line was also too bad. They couldn't score even one goal home. This team is just crying for help.

Erik ten Hag is getting closer to the end of his time here as it seems. I thought they would make a better start after making good signings for the defense. But right now they are at the 14th position with only three points. Liverpool were really impressive. Diaz - Salah cooperation was great to watch.    Salah is already crucial for this team but it wouldn't be fair to overlook Diaz's contribution at the same time. Chiesa's job is really difficult.

The pace of the game was just too dull for Manchester United, too many passes but they didn't have a great chance to move forward. Two bloody errors caused the first two goals. I'm not boggled because Arne Slot dealt with Manchester United when they first faced themselves during the pre-season games.

I was a strong supporter for Erik Ten Hag last season but this season, I'm keeping mute on whatever that comes now. They had a great first 25minutes yesterday, nothing wrong with the defenders in my opinion, what I saw wrong with the game yesterday was that Casemiro not being effective. He did during the game against Fulham United, Brighton and now the game against Liverpool. He lacks pace now ans also energy. Diaz was held down, Mo Salahs wing was more effective than that of Luiz Diaz. I don't lie when I say Arne Slot inherited a great sqaud.

Jurgen Klopp indeed left Arne Slot a great team fo him to handle and he has handled them very well during the pre-season games and also the first three games in the Premier League Competition. Gutted to see Manchester United losing but Liverpool had a great game today. Mo Salah won't stop scoring Manchester United. What a player!

I think Ten Hag had no idea about what his team is doing. And it seems there is a big gulf between him and players. Also, i don't like the way he works at United is very hands off to his players. I hope he takes a note from Slot's interview and make some changes.

Honestly, this wasn't what I expected anyhow. While I knew that Arne Slot was a great manager, even a great manager can't always have a great start, usually it takes time for players and manager to find that right balance and chemistry and when that relationship gets better the team gets better, which I did expected them to do because it looked like they would be better eventually.

However, they started very well too, and this does scare me just a bit, not a lot but just a bit. I fear that they may actually do worse later on, like they started great, but where can this go, they can't just keep being awesome, very few teams ever does that, there could be some problems along the way, if not then the title is so easy to win, if it does, then solving it quickly will be the key.

It’s easy to be smart while doing a post interview,
Where it gets real difficult is when your on the job. I don’t really take much of a post interview or critic on footballers. The case wouldn’t have been much different with them on the job either as players or a manager on the sidelines.

If you look at Manchester, their performance is not good for me.  Because they perform well in a match and not in skiing.  Because of this, it is difficult to predict.  And Brighton performance is understandable, as their performances are often at a high level.  For this reason, whoever writes victory in their favor makes his own predictions.  And their performance in this match also shows that they are a good and strong team.  Obviously they won the match very well and hard because the competition was equal but their players showed speed and played the match very well to score a goal and win the match.  Many people have been surprised by his performance.  He really had to star on this win.  This player is the main character of this victory.  If it had not forced itself upon itself, the match would have been even.

3 games with 3 wins and being the only club that has managed to keep a cleansheet so far is of course a very good thing for Liverpool because they exceeded the expectations of most people including me at the beginning of this season.

Honestly, in the pre-season I doubted them with a new coach because after all Slot is still untested in the EPL and with the courage when not bringing any players to make plans for Slot's future it makes it even harder for me to believe that Slot can do his best at the beginning of this season.
But the first 3 matches for them really slapped me in the end because after all now Slot proves that in his first season in the EPL and only relying on players who are already in the Klopp era he can still get consistency in terms of performance at the beginning of this season.

Now for Slot only needs to continue to maintain this condition so that they continue to be good in the future because even though now they are very good but that does not mean this should be used as satisfaction because the season is still very long.

I think Haaland would better this season from the fact that his performance this season now is better than how he did last season where he couldn't even do well against some mid teams. It was obvious how getting a goal were difficult for him last season when KDB was injured but there have been improvements this time.

About him not doing well during big matches, this has been the main reason he is still less regarded as he ought in the world and I believe if he is really wants to go above his comfort zone and become more than he is now then I think this season he will do much better disregarding most efforts of the opponent tactics in neutralising him.

One thing to note in that match was that Manchester United were short of goals but there wasn't much of a difference. Where Brighton made 14 short while Manchester United made 11 short. Moreover, the position of Manchester United was rather good in other aspects. But they failed. Towards the end of the match it looked like it would end with a draw but it was not to be as João Pedro win the match by scoring in extra time. Brighton is in a good position this season in terms of team condition. Out of 3 matches, the team has won 2 matches and drawn one to retain the third position in the points table. On the other hand, there is nothing to say about the position of Manchester United. The team cannot stand this season. Unless this situation improves quickly, it will be difficult to expect anything good from them.

Jackson has scored goals 2 matches in a row in the Premier League. I can't believe my eyes!    It isn't a thing I'm used to seeing as Jackson is generally struggling to finish big chances with goals.

Chelsea are very dominant against Crystal Palace but it is still only 1-1. It would be a shame if they lose points. I really liked them against Wolves. I want to see the same spirit.

They didn't lose the match because they stepped up with their defense. If they had continued with the way they were playing then they will probably would have lost. However, before i was comparing the performance of Manchester United to be the same with Chelsea but now i can boldly say that Chelsea has improved and now have better performance to Manchester United this season. Even if the winning the league is not assured at least coming out top 5 should be what they should be concerned about. If care is not taken Manchester United will not be going to the Champions league next season. With the way they are playing now there is no hope at all.

What a beautiful start to the season by Arne Slot's brand new Liverpool. I think some of the credits goes to the legend, Jurgen Klopp, for what he has done for us so far. He left the team in a great state, the players are of amazing quality, and top tier mentality. They never want to give up.

None of us Liverpool fans expected Arne Slot to have such a belter start to the season, we saw a flawless pre-season, but we told ourselves that this is nothing, Premier League would definitely be much more difficult. But for him to show us such beautiful football in all three of these games, was something I did not see coming.

Arne likes the team to play a very interesting style of play. He wants the team to go for quick and instant attacks, pressing high and taking chances everytime we get. But he also likes the team to keep possession when they can, which gives the team some time to gather up, organize, and go for the attack again, which is a key difference from how Klopp wanted the team to play.

Now for Slot only needs to continue to maintain this condition so that they continue to be good in the future because even though now they are very good but that does not mean this should be used as satisfaction because the season is still very long.

Arne Slot also wants the team to evolve as much as they can, playing off of situations, not letting anything go off notice. This also helps the team to go and take every attempt at the attack, and while defending, taking time 1on1, and let everyone else organize in time. Arne's project is very exciting, and I am all in for it.

what's the main thing that's lacking in Manchester United that Chelsea have tried to improve on is the bonding among the players and how they've been able to complement each other's weaknesses and tries to cover up at any slightest mistakes by one of them. Both teams are still struggling but most likely, Chelsea has an higher chance of going higher than they were on the table during last season compaired to Manchester United that's still yet to get thier ground on somany key things.  Just a touch on Chelsea defense and an introduction of a quality and matured attacker to the Chelsea team will almost make them look like the man city. Comparing them to other teams, they've hard a lot of complete passes and have been one of the most dominant team that always have position of the ball in most of thier games. They might not be physically and mentally matured like players In Liverpool or man city but so far, they've shown class and are far better than what people expect of a combination of inexperienced players like them.

The most prolific striker at the start of this season is Haaland because he managed to record 2 hat-tricks in two matches and also scored goals routinely in 3 matches. Haaland will of course be favored to return to being the top scorer this season because in 3 matches he has managed to score 7 goals. In addition, Manchester City this season is also very strong, even Alvarez's departure did not affect their performance at all, even though Alvarez is only a reserve striker but he also has quite good quality.

Now if you look at the many matches that exist because this season has only been running for 3 matches, there is a great opportunity for Haaland to surpass the goal tally last season. I think if he is in good condition in every match, there is a big chance he can score 40 goals this season.

Though I have to give credits to Arne Slot good start in the EPL especially with the clean sheets following the wins even against Manchester United but the main reason I still don't consider Liverpool highly this season is from the fact that earlier last season they where the best team, is either they get a win or worst savage a point no matter who they were playing up against no matter the odds even with bad referee decisions but during their injuries woes which was a similar situation other top teams suffered their performance reduced and even after all the stats came back fit, things didn't rather became more disappointing that they drop from league title favorite to 3rd place.

Erik ten Hag says he is no Harry Potter, he can't do magic. However he should accept the fact that the fans will criticized him even harder in time as long as there is no improvement in results. You are even lucky that Manchester United isn't one of the impatient clubs.  

There great transfers for defense. This should show its good impact sooner or later. Ugarte has also arrived so I hope he takes Casemiro's place in no time. Because Casemiro is still a disappointment...

last season headlands performance was based on dependency on other players but now he looks freer compared to last since his personality is more of scoring than assisting because you hardly see Haadland assisting, that is the kind of football, and KDB is usually a rounder for us so I don't see the reason why he wants to leave, if he leaves we might get a replacement, but we are going to miss is performance, KDB has one of the best performance when it comes to assisting, a lot of players are relying upon. his injury has affected Haaland performance, the young is learning to live without KDB. and one thing footballers do is to improve themselves.  to me, I don't see anything wrong with Haaland's performance, but people are not even supporting Manchester City, and I don't think Haaland is less regarded. now that he notices that eyes are on him I think that is one of the reasons he needs to improve his self if his about goals, I don't think I have worried because I know haaland will enough of it.

Since it's under a new management I believe things are kind of different, Slot  is likely diligent coming from what we see from the start already, defeating Manchester United by that number of goals is enough for us to consider them among the top competitors for the Premier league title this season, we just hope this is not another show play to start too well and end badly. We may also see one among the top competitors declared the winner but leading with a point away from having it tied with the second runner.

Right now the three top competitors are same like what we had last season, between Arsenal and Liverpool I can't tell who has the better ability to stay above the other because they have been impressive since the season began.

I don't know why Manchester United coach would always not want to take responsibility of failure in the club. He hardly admits his mistakes and I think it is not an attribute of a great coach. I have seen coaches like Pochettino take responsibility of their mistakes and promise to do better. I have also seen Jurgen Klopp do so, but Erik will never admit his poor performance. Instead, he will face you with his FA Cup win, which I think is not the best approach.

He should rightly be informed that Manchester United has invented by buying players, he should stop giving excuses, no one is indispensable.
