Liverpool has had a great start to the Premier League season, and they managed a 2-0 win over the opposition in today's match. Liverpool had a fantastic start today against Ipswich, and they gave the crowd a lot of fun at the start of the season.

I never expected Liverpool to start the season with such a good performance. Since there is a change in their coach, I was expecting their performance to drop a little bit at the beginning of the season. If they are going to be back in form, then it’s going to take some time, but from the way they played today and the matches they played during the pre season, it’s just obvious that having a change in coach doesn’t have any impact on them, which is a good one for them. Let’s see how their performance will go in the coming matches.

I haven't been able to conclude that they played well, even though in this match they played well. Because we also need to see who is their opponent. Their opponents in this match are promotional clubs, they actually haven't. Tested while in the English League, precisely this season they must prove that they really deserve to be in the English League.

I haven't seen them meet with a stronger club or at least their strength is not different enough and has often faced each other. The final result of Man City is still with the same story that its quality is still promising. Talking about Chelsea, it's a little bit not bad but certainly not a good performance either. But what can you do, Palmer is not enough if he doesn't have a suitable partner. Honestly, for several changes that Chelsea made, especially new players, it had no impact at all. Enzo performed below standard, he lost the trust of his fellow teammates on the field. It can be said that Chelsea is too full of flop players, is this the right answer behind Chelsea reckless purchases? It's not easy for Enzo Maresca to find the right format. Chelsea is not strong enough to beat Manchester City.

Chelsea has  many brought their main squad today, and they even brought a lot of strikers today to face Manchester City, but their weakness lies in their very poor defense and the two goals that were scored did not show any hard work from the Chelsea defenders for prevent that the goal happen.

Not only are the fans disappointed but Todd Boehly immediately left the stadium after spending a lot of money and actually saw their team playing very badly at the match. 

Toed Boehly remains a loser in his choice of players brought to the stamford bridge, Jackson remains the most useless signing Chelsea ever did and a very fuckedup Stricker for that matter, he was literally underperforming and confused until he was removed. I am not surprised at the weakness of the Chelsea defense, I personally see no experience defender there to hold the city force with Cucurella running around like an untamed dog. Playing Enzo Fernandez forward instead of his defensive midfield position contributed to the problem and I wonder what he was trying to achieve.

The day Chelsea sells off that he goat Jackson and gets a better striker, then they had solved one of their most prominent problems. Chelsea's need for a holding striker like Osimhen can never be overemphasized especially with Jackson's increased unproductivity upfront, the forwards did a very good job creating and missing lots of chances.

truth is that palmer underplayed today although he still tried his best but In comparison to Manchester City players, Chelsea players are not matured with there decision making ability in front of the goal post. Same mistake they've always made even throughout last season is the same thing they are still doing in this current season. They do everything perfectly from the midfield towards the attack and when it's time to do the finishing, the result is always horrible and it's always courtesy of Nicholas Jackson who has refused to grow till this point. At least, they already know what's their problem and once they get a strong and natural 9 that will play that Jackson's position and still work on how they manage threat that comes from aggressive attack, they can be ready to experience some better result.

As always, halland still proved how exceptional he his in front of the post. He definitely knows his role as an attacker and has never performed below what is expected of him. With what they've played so far and how matured the team is becoming by the day, it's just going to be more deficult to see a team that can stop them from topping the league as usual.

Chelsea showed some nice gameplay against Manchester city. They don't look bad at all. The midfield of Lavia and Caicedo looks good and balanced. I think if the manager does the right things, Chelsea might do well this season, considering.

I want to see Chelsea against normal nasty teams. That’s where the conclusion will be drawn. It might be an adrenaline that got them gingered like that. First game of the season against Pep’s team.

Also all these buying of kids and prospect won’t take them back to the top. The need to invest in experience and leadership.

The fact that Chelsea is worsening compared to the last season. And we back to the old style of play when we finished in 12th. We lack confidence in counterattacks. So, we pass to the wings and cross it, hoping our striker can finish. It's just like how we played under Lampard and Potter.

We lost 0-2 against city, and the worst part is we looked so poor at a home game. Also, we continue to be run into the ground by the awful American owners. We're finished.

Chelsea didn't play bad basically, it's just that they failed to score because Manchester City's defense was quite good. In some ways, Chelsea's performance in this match was much better in my opinion. They were not sharp enough in maximizing goal opportunities, that is an unresolved problem. Several times Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson had goal opportunities, but in the end they failed to take advantage of them.

It's no wonder that every fan and owner are disappointed with the result of this match, but they should be aware that the team that beat them is the 4x defending champion in the Premier League so far. There is no shame, it's just that they have to realize their shortcomings and correct them in the next match.

I do not believe in the words of Pep Guardiola who says he has no motivation to win the title at the end of the season. His words are contrary to the aim of the team and coach in general. Each team spent large amounts of money just to get achievements at the end of the season. The large amount of money is used to bring in players even to bring in coaches. So, when Manchester City management brought in it also targeted a trophy. Is it possible that Pep was recruited not for that?
For me, it was only a strategy or it was an arrogant message that he had won everything with Manchester City.

I think he is whining. Pep knows what they want to hear and he feeds them. The annoying thing is that everyone could predict their dominance with how much quality that they were bringing in but people like to rely on myths & denials instead of focusing on distinct realities.
Their win today against Chelsea was just  a glance of what we will expect this season. He’s done it 4 times in a row, what makes us think that Arsenal or Liverpool would have a chance this season. Poor performance by Chelsea...    But no surprise though. If there was Pochettino behind the wheel then I think the team would be able to compete harder. It would be quite possible to get a point too.

If you sack your manager while things were okay then you will have to wait for the team to adapt to the system of a new manager. Anyways, I hope this process wouldn't take too long.

Jackson could have scored a goal by the way. It is unbelievable he can't even position himself in such an easy situation. He shouldn't be the main striker for this team, I'm saying it again.

Well I think if you want to have a realistic chance to steal some points in a game against Manchester City, then it is rather at the beginning of the season in a home game instead of in a game later down the road into the season. It is not so much about how many games there are left to be played, no need to be talking about that. I think the psychological factor kicks in much more as Chelsea knows what it means to have a bad start. Last season they were at least able to tie the game against Liverpool, but now losing this one and then heading off to a game away from home could literally be the worst case materializing within a single week.

Over the course of the last five years, Chelsea is by far the only club to reach a negative transfer fee balance of 1 billion euro (they are at -988 million). That is 200 million per season and they are said to not have finished their plans for this transfer window. Throwing 200 million out the window on average with those results is a catastrophe. They finished 4th, 3rd, 12th and 6th last season and without that winning streak at the end of last season, they would have been lost once again. The Conference League isn't going to save it for them even if they were to win it.

That's impossible to expect Chelsea to draws with Manchester City like last season. This is because Chelsea's squad is worse than last season. Todd Boehly did something stupid. He replaced a good coach who had delivered results with a new one who doesn't know how to run the club. And this is his consequence to see his team might be better or bad.

This is another setback for Chelsea to get a loss on their derby against Manchester City. This is pretty clear that Chelsea most likely will finish out of the top 10. They're gonna meet Wolves in the upcoming week, and that's an away game. I'm 100% on Wolves to win the game.

And, we'll soon see the real test for Chelsea. We have many "should-win" games coming up. If Chelsea fails to win them, we're finished.

This must be a little relief for Arne Slot. I mean everyone was curious how good he would be able to start. Because people were critizing Liverpool transfer policy. More precisely, no transfer at all.  

But still we saw a good start by Liverpool. Ipswich are one of the new members of the PL this season. I was expecting them to be more ambitious but we didn't see anything particular. Maybe they get used to the league in time.

Jota and Salah scored the goals that finished Ipswich in 5 minutes and did not allow any surprises. Arne Slot made a happy start to the league by starting with a victory. Every point is important for the championship and the points lost here may upset Liverpool at the end of the year. Liverpool says hello to the league with a definite 2-0 victory.

A very good debut for Arne Slot because this is their away game, even though the promotion club has recruited many players to help them compete in the premier league but the squad they have still can't beat the tough Liverpool squad, this club did not make a transfer this summer but I'm sure Liverpool still has the same performance as last season because they also still have Mohammed Salah.

Anyone who's known Pep Guardiola and his antics over the years will agree to the fact that he's very good at playing mind games so I wasn't surprised to see him say that there's no motivation to win the English Premier League at the moment during his pre-match conference with the press. I think he just said that so Chelsea manager and player will expect less from them while they prepare to be at their best when they face Chelsea in less than one hour time. Just like the people you mentioned, Pep Guardiola is also one manager who's never satisfied of winning trophies and matches so I would never believe such statement that came from him.

It was not about Latvia and Calcedio alone. Enzo Fernandez did make quality contributions likewise during that game. I think they shouldn't have substituted Latvia but due to him limping, they had to do that to avoid further cases of injuries. A plenty should have been awarded honestly for Chelsea as that ball was well seen to have come in contact with Kovacic. It shows how much the officiating from last season has not even upgraded.

I wonder why they also kicked Raheem Sterling out of the game, during the last game against Manchester City you'll always want to see him fighting to make sure that they lose maybe to hurt Josep Pep Guardiola.

Do we believe what he said? Honestly, I personally will never believe what Guardiola says, who no longer has the ambition to win the EPL trophy at this time just because he has won several EPL trophies with Manchester City, even a coach who in my opinion has won as many UCL trophies like as Ancelotti never said these things and continued to target the UCL trophy as their main focus all this time to fulfill their ambitions, but if I look further at what was said by guardiola, it was actually just a form of low self-esteem because he saw that the competition in the English league was increasingly competitive at this time. , he said that he did not set a championship target at the end of the season and the main target was to finish in the top 4, what he said had a strong reason because currently rival teams have started to improve the quality of their squads, so that is will create tight competition in winning the championship trophy and that it will no longer be easy for Manchester City, but that doesn't mean they won't be aiming for the EPL trophy at the end of the season.
