I don't want to say that the Chelsea vs Liverpool match yesterday was like a match that helped Chelsea to qualify for the Champion League because Chelsea played well, especially how Chelsea really wanted to get 3 points from Liverpool.
You made a mistake by betting on Liverpool, I bet on a draw because what I thought yesterday was that this match no longer had any effect on Liverpool and the match only meant for Chelsea who were struggling to fill 5th place in the standings.

Once doubted, Chelsea was able to beat the top 1 EPL with a fairly convincing score. This completes a series of good results at least seen in the last 5 matches, with consecutive wins. The number of points is exactly the same as Newcastle, so Chelsea still has a chance to rise again to the top 4 with 63 points, and Man City with 64 points.

And one of the interesting things in Chelsea's victory was Cole Palmer's penalty goal, which was also his first goal in Premier League again since January 2025. It's been a long wait for this chance and finally he did it again.

It is unfortunate that Manchester United have to suffer and struggle so much this season, we hoped Amorim will bring the change immediately at arrival but we will have to wait a bit longer probably until next season to really evaluate his performance. I could not even feel disappointed with MU's result against Brentford. That's pretty obvious how they being prepared to face european final instead of keep seriously playing for EPL when they have done with it. They got nice result at the start of game, but got bullied for the most part.
The only positive is that Mount scored in this game. They result was not really surprising me when they got a lost. This is not something they must care when they have an important game to come.

It is very unfortunate that in the end they had to swallow the bitter pill of defeat again, even though they had fought hard to achieve victory. And with this defeat, Manchester United's total defeat in the EPL this season is 16 defeats. This is one of the worst seasons for the red team. But who would have thought that behind their poor performance in the EPL, they were able to go further in the European competition, which is now not only able to step one foot into the final, but they are also one of the strongest candidates to be able to win the UEL trophy.

And back to the match between Manchester United VS Brentford, I watched the match from start to finish. The Manchester United players actually performed quite well, with the dominance and attacks they showed, but it is very unfortunate that the finishing done by the Manchester United front line was still quite bad, and so was their defense which was a bit chaotic.

If you paid attention to what most of the teams that have been in the shoes of Liverpool had done in the past, rare will you see them taking games like this seriously and for chelsea that should naturally see this as an opportunity to get more points to there's, it will be totally uncalled for if they can't take advantage of Liverpool's obvious show of disinterest in the game. As things stands now, any of the teams that hopes to get into the top spot will hope never to loose a single game again up till the end of the season. Already, the rest of the teams are all winning there respective games while hoping that any of the other teams will show sign of lapses which will give them a serious edge above them. Also, Chelsea is one for the weakest teams that are contending for the champions league spot which means that a slight drop from them will result in them trading there chances for teams like Manchester city, Newcastle and even Nottingham forest. Three straight loss in the premier league at the time they are literally contending for nothing won't bother Liverpool even for the slightest. All attention fully fixed on next season.

There wasn't much he could do to fix this team. In my opinion, the previous coaches made terrible signings. I don't know what their main objective was, but from what I could see, there are a lot of players who came to Manchester United and weren't playing well, and when they left Manchester United they started playing well again.

Maybe the high level of pressure they were under at Manchester United made them play badly. The coach will need to make good signings if they want to fight for the title. With this current squad they have no chance, so I don't know what they're going to do with the current players.

I will be honest 9/10 I actually predicted a win for Chelsea, first of they were at home giving a guard of honor to a rival team this should definitely puncture their pride or ego and should be something that they would held on to for the win. Also most importantly this is the start of the season ending demanding game for Chelsea which they need to seriously win to get into the champions league spots. Once Liverpool clinch the title against Tottenham it down to me that they will seriously be in celebratory spirit against Chelsea and it is a good period for Chelsea to actually win against them.

There have been similar situations where a club get a guard of honor and get beaten immediately I think it is the euphoria of doing that guard that makes opposition to go full on the newly crown champions. Did Chelsea played well in this game I will say yes but I wouldn’t guarantee they will against Newcastle next weekend because Newcastle themselves dropped points this weekend and that’s one big reason they will like to sit up in this game

Based on the game shown by Chelsea, it was indeed a deserved victory for Chelsea. Whether Liverpool helped them or not, when Chelsea can't play well then they won't win. At least for now they are still safe, only they have to focus on the last 3 matches to sweep all the wins. The competition is still quite tight here, so they can't be careless at all to get a place in the Champions League next season. The opportunity is very big.

Liverpool has lost only two games this season before their game against Chelsea yesterday, it was obvious for many people that Liverpool will win that game also. Now the contest for UCL qualification has further tighten up between Man City, Newcastle, Chelsea, Nottingham and Villa because of narrow points gap. Tomorrow is a must win game for Nottingham if they want to remain in UCL qualification contest race.

All arsenal fans are claiming they are focusing on the Champions league, I just hope they will be able to win the second leg which is against PSG, but it doesn’t make sense to lose focus in one competition just because of another one, if Arsenal is not careful, they might not be ending the season in second position.

Arsenal was not focusing on champions League that made them to look like this on the premier League, they were only privileged to pass those stages, so as they gone through all and came out they started playing well since it was there last hope of fighting for trophy and they fought very obedient but they had a disorganizing meeting with PSG, so there diversification of strength might result differently if the tune changes again like it did, i like Arsenal but Bournemouth has putting fear in me after how they push it back to Arsenal with the wining, how would they win PSG with that.

Arsenal will only play three more matches this season, and I don't think there will be much of a gap in points with the other teams in the points table. It has been confirmed long ago that Arsenal will not be able to go to the first position in the points table, now they only have to perform in the Premier League so that they can be in the second position in the points table at the end. Even if Arsenal is in the second position in the points table, Manchester City is in the third position in the points table with a few points difference from Arsenal and Manchester City also has three matches left. In that case, many may think that by focusing on the Champions League, Arsenal can do badly in the Premier League and if Arsenal does badly in the Premier League, they can go further down the points table, but I don't think so. The three matches that Arsenal will play in the next three matches will not be very difficult for them. They already had there title celebration match, ain’t nothing much in the games that is left so, they could as well play it just the way they like, for entertainment and be sure not to sustain any injuries because, it would have been for nothing. What they need now is a long big rest and to test out some of those academy guys along with their bench since, some of the teams are still battling for positions on the league table. If Liverpool hadn't won the Premier League, I'm confident they wouldn't have let Chelsea take the 3 points so easy. Even if Liverpool wins the game, the point will not help them because they are already at the top of the league table, with an important point difference between the top four clubs. It is not easy to play well and win the Premier League, even Chelsea fans feel that if Liverpool had not won the league title, they would be unable to beat them at this point.

I can give a simple example on this. Just look at Jürgen Klopp. He came to Liverpool in the 15/16 season. The club finished in 8th place in his first season. It got better gradually over the years. It took him 4-5 years to bring the 1st PL trophy to Liverpool...

I don't say it'll be the same for Amorim also. What I'm trying to show is that coaches deserve to be given enough time to see if they make a real impact. This is his only 1st season. Let's see what he will do after the summer transfer window.

Only Man United fans hoped that signing Amorim will change things immediately, a neutral fan would have known its impossible with the United current Squad and their other issues. The problem of United goes beyond bad signings, it’s not that most of their players are poor but the team spirit is poor, they need to build as a team and bring players that will fight for the badge. Sometimes it’s good to be a stubborn coach and most times it isn’t, Check the players who left United on loan or outright buying they’re doing well in their various clubs that is to say the system at United is not working. The coach has to apply what works in order to progress and have a cordial relationship with players. Look at Arne Slot and his boys or Hansi Flick and barça boys, as a coach you have to do more than just tell players how to play. Most players play for the trust placed on them by their coach and not only for the Badge. If as a coach you’re adding to the pressure of players you wouldn’t get the desired results.

Chelsea played well there's no doubt about that but Liverpool's attention wasn't fully on that game. What's the point if they won anyway? To me it feels like they just let Chelsea get the spot light a bit, lol even though that might not be accurate Liverpool aren't struggling for any trophy right now apart from the champions league so that's where all their energies are fixed. From the look of things it's very possible that they might even win the UEFA champions league

There defense contributed but if Liverpool hasn't really won the league already, it's going to be a chaos match that might end in draw at worst because Liverpool were never for once been negligence until they had a confirmation of 2 games to go to win the league and they already saw their contender Arsenal losing matches, so technically it was impossible for Arsenal to even try to win the league before them and that's why I think Liverpool didn't stress much.

The battle of who finishes at the top 4 is getting stronger, Manchester City to Chelsea points all looks identical and I don't know for sure who is going to go stay behind because that's 3 teams fighting for second place unless Arsenal doesn't take theirife serious again and then decide to give space for Manchester City, that's when I know it's going to be interesting. The remain matches can still produce 9 points for any team that win all, so things can still get down.

Why are you speculating or predicting who will win champions league next season I mean it is still far and why not just talk about this year own instead. And what makes you think Liverpool will win champions league next season if they didn't blow their chances? Maybe you have forgotten that as long as champions league is concerned Real Madrid is still the boss because they have the trophy more than any other club and they are the only club to win it 5 times in a row and if not for the fact that they are having difficult time, you think Arsenal would have knock them out just like that. And as for Chelsea, I was thinking there wining will take them to the fourth position but it doesn't, Newcastle is still ahead of them.

Arsenal defeat to Bournemouth because they lost in the first leg of the UCL, Arteta had to sacrifice the EPL match to maintain the fitness of the players in the UCL. Literally, the defeat had a big impact on their morale, but on the other hand, they were very motivated to win the second leg of the UCL. Arsenal need just a few more points to secure a place in next season's Champions League, but if they win the trophy they will qualify automatically even if they finish outside the top five.

Aston Villa still maintains their hopes of qualifying for European competition next season, but the last 2 of the last three games are very tough for them, although Man United and Tottenham are not too strong in the EPL this season, but both teams can be a threat to Aston Villa who are hunting for tickets to the UCL or UEL.

I don't think Arsenal was defeated due to the first leg of the Champions League they lost against PSG. If Arsenal didn't want to put effort into the game against Bournemouth, I am confident they weren't going to start with their first XI. I checked Arsenal squad when they were playing against Bournemouth, and I discovered that every player they were going to use in the Champions League started the match, except Timber, who wasn't available in the Premier League game. Arsenal only lost because they did not perform well enough to get a point.

In addition, Aston Villa is in better form right now than they have been since the beginning of the season, I was surprised when they won against Fulham with the odds the bookies gave them, I expected the game to be a draw. Unai Emery wants his team to do everything they can to secure their place in any European tournament next season, but with the next big games, Bournemouth may be difficult to win.
