What  diaster of a round it was this one for the Premier League teams on the Champions League i cant believe what we saw, Newcastle losing horrible against Barcelona, City no chance against Real Madrid and Chelsea also losing horrible against PSG, Totenham was a disaster in the first game so in the yesterday game they cant do so much about it.

I feel like the "best" league is on to see and not in real performance. Instead of best is better to say most fun.

I agree with you, I'm even surprised of the fact that Liverpool is still in the champions league, because the way they started the season showed that they might not last, but surprisingly they are here in the quarter finals.

But arsenal in the other hand has always played well from the beginning of the season, so theirs was definitely predictable, even the fact that they face easy clubs in the round of 16 will let you know they will head to the semifinals.

As for consistency, I dont think there is any team with Arsenal's level of consistency be it in the Premier league or even  the entire Europe at large which is why they where considered favourite to win the most of the tournament they are involved in.  As for the consistency of other Premier league teams like Manchester City or even Liverpool i will say they where below average and no one expected them to even get to the last concluded stage they found themselves but did it maybe by local. But among all that of Manchester City is the one that kept me in an unpredictable manner even if they where to lose to Real Madrid it was not supposed to be both home and away as they did.

What haven't they [Spurs] tried to make the Club stronger than they are now? Is employing a new Manager and planning on sacking him the next 2 weeks, I'm sure they tried that or is it the one that a new manager would sign a new contract and they sack him...this club is going through what we can't explain because they have been hiring and sacking since the results are not come...Is the current coach Igor Tudor not good enough for the club? Or is De Zerbi the man that will uplift the club and drag them out from the relegation zone?

It is a good idea to get De Zerbi as a new coach is Tottenham Spurs, he is a good manager who has succeed in many clubs, he has coached several small clubs and turn them to one of the best teams in the world, he can handle those players who are not ready to die for the club, but I am still thinking that he will not accept the job because every coach that accept the job end up like he is not a good coach, Tottenham spurs is a club thy the management are not serious.

This Sunday City will play another difficult match, this time it will be the Football League Cup final, with Arsenal at Wembley. For Guardiola I think this will be an important match, because after two difficult defeats against Real they need an important victory so that they can believe in themselves again. But Arsenal are in excellent form now, and I am not sure that City will be able to beat them. For Guardiola it will also be an important match because there are rumors that he wants to leave City. And if that happens, it would be good if he could win at least one trophy with City this season.

The game is going to be a tough game and both teams are going to take the game serious, Pep Guardiola is not longer in Premier League and Champions League and the only way he will be in Manchester City next season is if he win a trophy for the club, Arsenal on the other hand will want to win the trophy as their first trophy and all the players are very serious about the trophy because they know that they have a big chance of winning the premier league and winning the Carabao cup will boost their confidence to win the remaining trophies.

Liverpool might not make it to the next round, although I'm not totally ruling them out because in football anything can happen. Considering that Liverpool performance in the champions league has been more consistent than the premier league. But if Liverpool want to have any chance of qualifying against PSG, they have to improve their away from because PSG will be a total different game compared to Galatasary.

Liverpool promotion to the next round of the Champions League is really fascinating, the whole Champions League run for Liverpool this season is surprising, especially judging from there performance in the EPL. If Liverpool are not careful, they won't be able to make it to the Champions League next season especially with them struggling points with Chelsea.

Chelsea's exit from the Champions League after trailing by such a large margin in the first leg only exposed their tactical and interpersonal problem
It may be a bit harsh to call the manager an IT coach but the player have been complaining all season that they can not digest the coach's instructions properly
Next Saturday game against Everton under Rosenior is going to be another big physical test for Chelsea
I do not really understand whether it is time for Chelsea to change manager or if the fault lies with the player who have not been able to properly adapt the system to the pitch.

If the players are complaining about the manager, then it may be little or nothing tangible will the players come up with in the pitch no matter how they try to. There is always some kind of cohesion between the players and their manager, if that’s not found, it’ll be very hard for every team to prevail and become better than they are in the past. Chelsea needs every win at this point because henceforth their assignment is now on how they’ll finish in the top four in order to get to advance further to the champions league next season. After losing to Newcastle in their last premier league outing, I don’t expect them to do the same in this game against Everton, they need every win now as much as they can.

Liverpool have already fallen behind by a lot of points in the Premier League. So it doesn't seem like they will be able to recover from this easily. Arsenal and Manchester City are playing very well, although Arsenal has kept all the teams at a very large point gap. I don't think Liverpool still has a chance to do better than Arsenal, looking at their performance, Arsenal seems to have the most potential from the Premier League this season. Surprisingly, Arsenal have lost only three matches in 31 matches and won 21 matches, which makes a big difference from other teams, Liverpool has won only 14 matches

With the coach changes and instability of the club it's starting to bring questions about the whole management of the club. Maybe the fault is not with the coach but with the top brass in the Chelsea's management.

Concerning the next match against Everton, Chelsea is looking like the better team, but one time I don't like predicting on is Everton because of how surprising they turn results.

I'm not exactly sure of the pressure you're talking about when it hasn't affected their performance lately, and the manager or players hasn't come out to say that they're under pressure. I think Manchester City are playing more under pressure, and if you've noticed their performance lately, the signs are obvious. This isn't the Manchester City of two seasons ago. I think this very season, both Arsenal and Manchester City has completely switched mentality.

At this point, all City can just do is to probably avoid losing games, which I don't think they can. Their next 2 games is against Chelsea and Arsenal in the premier league. They stand a higher chance of losing these games, and if Arsenal go on to win their next 3 games and draw 1, they automatically become the champions mathematically. So, as you can see, Manchester City's next 2 games is likely to determine their season. There is no point of waiting for the entire 38 games.

I too am of the opinion that Arsenal is under some pressure. The pressure I'm talking about is the deep hope and anticipation from supporters to finish the season at the top spot. This is exactly the mounting pressure on Arsenal given the expectations of the fans who are ready to watch Arsenal win the trophy after two seasons of runners-ups. The main thing is that the effort of the players is not enough to withstand the mentasm of millions of hopeful fans this season. With regards to City, they are of another league in terms of winning mentality thus it is no wonder they are preferred to win against Chelsea even with their current turbulence.

Count again. We have two of them in the quarterfinals: Arsenal and Liverpool.

Liverpool earned a very important win over Galatasaray yesterday. They lost the 1st leg 1-0 and their performance was a big question mark, given they haven't been very consistent lately. They played as they should and left no doubt on which team was better last night. A 4-0 win was just what they needed to rebuild their confidence. Some say Slot's position was uncertain and dropping out of the UCL could result in club owners losing their patience, but not only did he lead the team to the next stage, but he has also done so in great style.
Those who watched the game know that 4-0 is rather a modest win. Liverpool had so many chances (including a missed penalty) that they could have easily scored 6 or 7 goals.

I don't care which coach that comes in or out of the club but my concern of how are they going to manage the remaining part of this campaign because if they keep dropping points and also dropping managers I don't see them escaping the relegation calling. Now they are looking elsewhere to get another coach but they find it hard to talk more on what is happening in the club and why they are not progressing in any way. Take a good look at how they fought with everything they've got to withstand Atletico Madrid, it was impressive if you ask me and such performance is good in any EPL game because it will go a long way for the club now that the injured ones are gradually coming back. Playing against a side that have been looking for a win in the EPL for some weeks is never going to be an easy one so Nottingham will be another tight game for Spurs but if we compare how both side played in their respective European games I think Spurs are going to do better and win on Sunday.

Liverpool might not make it to the next round, although I'm not totally ruling them out because in football anything can happen. Considering that Liverpool performance in the champions league has been more consistent than the premier league. But if Liverpool want to have any chance of qualifying against PSG, they have to improve their away from because PSG will be a total different game compared to Galatasary.

A quick judgement, by the way Liverpool lost a better chance winning the premier league trophy this season and by the look of things they’re not sure if the championship title is even theirs. I thought about the club facing PSG and for some reason I don’t think they’ll give up easily as we all think, this match will be tough except Liverpool don’t want to prove their ability as one of the best club although PSG is more strong compared to Liverpool at the moment reason why everyone is predicting this match in favour of PSG well, nothing is certain yet.

Three of the five EPL teams have been eliminated in the round of 16. This is a bit disappointing because they were eliminated simultaneously even though they didn't face each other. This shows that even though the EPL is able to send the most representatives to this round, their level is still far from the big teams from other leagues. In this quarterfinal, La Liga has three representatives and England only has two. However, Atletico will face Barcelona in this round. But this seems to show that the big teams in La Liga are at a higher level than the big teams in the EPL. Arsenal will face Sporting and Liverpool will face PSG. Arsenal has a greater chance of qualifying for the semifinals. And I believe Liverpool will be eliminated here. PSG is not an easy opponent. They managed to beat Chelsea, so PSG will be Liverpool's toughest challenge.

Despite Tottenham hotspur not getting the results they wanted, the owners of Tottenham hotspur have the club at heart and they are putting good efforts for Tottenham hotspur to improve their performance and get out of the relegation threatening zone. Igor Tudor managed to win 1 match, draw 1 match, and losses 4 matches since he became the head coach of Tottenham hotspur, and from Igor Tudor's performance Tottenham hotspur might be relegated this season, so Tottenham hotspur owners did

Looks like they are pretty messed up at the moment. Maybe they should try to do what other clubs to. Sack a coach and then put in a caretaker in his place and wait for Summer and sign a proper manager

Also hiring a manager and expecting instant results is a bad idea. Managers also need enough time to make things right otherwise they will keep sacking and hiring every two months, and the team will still continue slipping downwards.

Arsenal are in great form both in the Premier League and the Champions League. Not every team remains as good and consistent as they are. A draw in the first leg against Leverkusen wasn't a major problem because these matches are played over two legs. They won the second leg more comfortably and advanced to the next round. They also have a significant advantage in the Premier League.
