What  diaster of a round it was this one for the Premier League teams on the Champions League i cant believe what we saw, Newcastle losing horrible against Barcelona, City no chance against Real Madrid and Chelsea also losing horrible against PSG, Totenham was a disaster in the first game so in the yesterday game they cant do so much about it.

I feel like the "best" league is on to see and not in real performance. Instead of best is better to say most fun.

Liverpool and Arsenal are the only teams qualifying in EPL
but since the start of the season
The only team that have been remotely consistent in EPL is Arsenal
The others are having a poor season and performance mediocre
Even now we are not even confident Liverpool would make the next round.

Next round when they will be up against PSG. That should be the end of the road for them, judging by their current performance against the team they will play against.

However, Arsenal seems to be the Premier League side that can advance to semi finals after winning Sporting

Judging by the performances of the Premier League teams competing in the quarterfinals, it seems Arsenal is the only Premier League team that will advance further in the Champions League. Liverpool, on the other hand, will likely struggle to advance to the semifinals, because facing a PSG side whose performance is far strong. I hope Arsenal can reach the final, and it seems they will, as if they advance, they will likely face Barcelona.

Totneham now can officialy just focus in this Premier League and in avoid the relegation since they are now out of champions league finally.

Aside of that i think they were super lucky the past round against Liverpool and they take a very important point in this fight. Now they need to win and they play against a direct rival in a game who can be named as a "6 points game", the winner it gonna make a big step toward remain on PL.

I think Manchester should just forget about the Premier League and focus on the carabao cup and FA Cup, because there is no way they are overtaking Arsenal at the top of the table. I don't care about Pep's experience here, because Arsenal is bent on winning the premier league and I am sure they will win it at thus point.  I don't see Arsenal throwing away this 9 point lead for Manchester City to overtake them. Arsenal is definitely the best and most consistent team in rhe premier league,  so in my opinion the premier league is over.

It is not appropriate to tell a team that has a nine-point difference to forget the Premier title. Don't forget that they can reduce the gap to six points if they can win their outstanding match. If Arsenal fail to maintain this lead, City has the potential to overtake them and win the League. Pep Guardiola's side is out of the UCL, so they can now focus on local competitions. Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta's side would have to go play many games which could affect the player's fitness. Arsenal still has seven games to play and they must win at least five to be sure that they will be crowned champions of the EPL.

It is not appropriate to tell Manchester City to forget about the premier league title because they can still win the premier league title if Arsenal drop points. If Manchester City can win their outstanding game and their game against Arsenal, the point difference will only be 3 points. Arsenal playing in the champions league can make them drop unexpected points against a weak team, so Manchester City should not forget about the premier league title. Arsenal need to win 5 matches from their remaining 7 matches in the premier league this season before they could win the league title, and since we do not know if Arsenal can win 5 matches, Manchester City still have hope in the title.

Manchester City being second isn't end of the world for them, they are rebuilding and they have won all they could for the past decade, many league titles, fa cup, and even UCL so it is not like they are a team that is lacking in success, they had that period and now they are rebuilding and that's a fine situation to be in. I get that it is not the most complicated situation, but as long as we have this, there is no doubt that we are going to be able to say that City could do better in the future.

So let's not worry about it for now, and lets focus on how the teams could do better on the long run. I understand things could be a bit different, and I realize it is not that easy to make this difference, but we can certainly do a lot better if we give City some time.

I didn’t know that Manchester United have a game today against Bournemouth, well I believe it’s going to be an interesting game, I’m expecting Manchester United to beat Bournemouth Comfortably, I didn’t expect a day was going to come when I will be expecting Manchester United to beat a team like Bournemouth Comfortably, but it’s football and it’s what it is, you will never know what is going to happen in a football game, because you can’t be 100% confident of them beating Bournemouth, well both teams are well rested which is why I feel is going to be a very interesting game between both teams.

Tottenham has a very long way to go in the Premier League, but right now they have to concentrate on only the Premier League since they could not do well in the Champions League but I applause their performance in the Champions League for reaching the level of round of 16, because there are other teams that are doing well but there could not be able to show that impact in the Champions League at least it is a bodly move for Tottenham.

Right now Tottenham is in a deadly zone on the table because it's just like there in a relegation zone, they are just 1 points ahead of relegation teams which looks so dangerous because any slice mistake from them they will move down there.

Just because you’re a Carrick fan doesn’t mean you can call yourself a United fan, because there have been plenty of people claiming to be United fans who used to hide in the shadows.

The match against Bournemouth wasn’t an easy one for Manchester United.
First, United were held to a draw while leading, with the score ending 4-4 at Old Trafford. It wasn’t Carrick who scored then, but Amorim.
Second, this match takes place at Bournemouth’s home ground. Bournemouth haven’t lost or won in their last four consecutive matches. This will pose a threat to Carrick.
For us, this match shows signs that United can win.

It another big premier league weekend which always promisea big entertainment, well let hope we gamblers get to make a lot of money this weekend.

The week kicks off with Bournemouth hosting Manchester United and for sure entertainment is certain. Carrick has done well since he took over and it only a shame it he doesn’t get the Manchester United job when the season ends. In this game I think betting on both team to score is a very good option and odd isn’t bad as well. I have placed a bet on that and I believe I made a right option there.

It a weekend full of good games to bet on and even if you don’t win today you still have tomorrow and Sunday to recover from. Let see what Manchester United will bring in this game.

Now Manchester City has been eliminated from the Champions League, and I hope this defeat doesn't demoralize the players for long, as they still have important work to do in the Premier League with the remaining games. It's okay to be sad, but then pick yourself up, the season is still on.

I think the elimination of the Manchester City from the champions league has been expected. Because the team is under the swear pressure to do great in all sides which was difficult to manage and the elimination has to occurred. But now the time is to manage themselves and stable themselves for Manchester City. Because what has to happen s happened and instead of being sad on that or take stress it is better to pay their full attention to achieve a certain position in the Premier league. Because now this is what the team is needed to do to have a good position and grab their fans and viewers from the out of stress and provide them a happy environment where they can see their favourite team in performing good and quality matches. Bournemouth have always been a tough opponent for Manchester United in recent seasons, and  even in their last five Premier League meetings, Manchester United  have managed only three draws and suffered two defeats, which means that  Manchester United have not had a win in the last three years against them.

Bournemouth may be  in 10th place at the moment, but strangely enough, they haven’t lost any of their last 10 matches. So I think Man United will really have to give it their all if they  want to come away with a win. I think Man United still has a chance in this match, especially if they can play  as they did in their last match.

PSG was among the worst clubs in the Champions League knockout stage last season, and they improved to eliminated 4 teams from the Premier League. They eliminated Manchester City in the playoffs, while they eliminated Liverpool, Aston Villa and Arsenal to reached the final. PSG have eliminated one of the best team in the Premier League, they will face Liverpool in the quarterfinals, Liverpool have gathered new players, so, we might see different results this time around.

However, Liverpool might look worse in an away matches, but we shouldn’t write them off yet in the Champions League, the both leg will determine which team will advance to the next round. Arsenal might look like the only team with the strength to eliminate PSG in the Champions League, but I won’t be surprised if they beat Arsenal without conceding a goal. I’m not confident with the recent performances from Arsenal.

I wouldn't say their performance and reaching the RO16 deserves to be applauded. Tottenham is not a team that is new to the champions league and they have even gone far in the competition multiple times. Well it depends on the opponent you face but I don't think Atletico Madrid was a too strong opponent for them.
Tottenham are struggling in the premier league so being out of the champions league is a blessing in disguise because they can now focus on the premier league and maybe that will improve their performance and take them away from the relegation zone. Although I don't think the champions league was a distraction for them they were just not able to perform so I hope now they can improve and perform better.

I'm wondering if this will change anything, maybe they can be like Manchester united now having more resting time and will be able to fight to avoid relegation for another season but if anything aren't done by the management's soon they will be relegating. Jeminez gave Manchester United the opportunity to find the back of the net on the 61st minutes through a penalty kick as the was drawing back Cunha jersey inside their 18 yard box which prevented Cunha from reaching the ball and fell to the ground. I didn’t see the advantage of Tottenham Hotspur going far in the champions league or even coming close to winning it and then end up being relegated. I don’t know if there is a rule that allows a relegated team to remain in the league if they get to win the champions league trophy. It is really clear and obvious that Tottenham won’t win the champions league trophy, so it was important that they focus on the premier league and not get relegated instead of fighting for a trophy they won’t get close to winning at all. It will be a big shame if Tottenham gets relegated because they have quite a good number of talented players in the squad that shouldn't relegate the team.

I do not see them getting three points against Nottingham Forest,  but if they happen to get that done, they will not be relegated. The next meeting with Forest will be packed with a lot of actions.
Lucky is not the word, Liverpool are no longer one the scary big boys again in the Premier League most especially this season.

The outcome of this Manchester United away game to Bournemouth is why Micheal Carrick will not be given the job for long term.
