After losing 4-0 to Man City and ending their adventure in the FA Cup this season, I don't think Arne Slot can feel secure about his future in Liverpool.
I believe their plan minimum for the Premier League is to finish in the top 4, they still have a chance to achieve that, but it won't be easy. They are 5 points behind Aston Villa, but Villa's form has been pretty horrible lately, so who knows.
If Slot fails to make it to the top 4, the only thing that could save him is winning the Champions League. Liverpool is playing the first leg of the quarter-final against PSG on Wednesday. I don't think they are favourite to go through to the next stage, but if they stay focused and avoid stupid mistakes, they could get there.

I really don't see Liverpool going to the semifinals, because they have been very poor all season and PSG is in a better form, so I think it will be very difficult for them to qualify,  but football comes with a lot of surprises and anything can happen,  but honestly I don't see the possibility with the way Liverpool has been playing.
Talking about Arne Slot, I don't think he will be sacked, because I think the board are still backing him, but I don't see him taking Liverpool anywhere and I think the best thing for the board is to sack him, so they can do better next season.

There is a truth to it, while the recent weeks could be different case, when you look at the league, City won 4 years in a row previously and in all of them they did better averages than this year, which means that this year is worse than those years.

It is not Arsenal suddenly doing amazing that makes them the leader, in fact, they may actually win the league this year without being highest point earner in all second places in the past 10 years, there have been second places in the past 10 years that got more points than what Arsenal will have this season and yet Arsenal may win, that is because City did not do as well as they used to.

It's very correct that this is City’s worst year after several years of good performance understand understand Pep Guardiola, they had chances of being ahead of Arsenal but wasted it, the team just started bouncing back to form recently and it's almost too late to catch up with Arsenal except the gunners do what they're known for.
 Arsenal is very lucky that City's form declined this season cause if Manchester City picked form at the middle of the season Arsenal would've been in the runner ups position by now, but they can still miss winning it cause they've started to show weakness recently.

There was a time it was rumoured that Arne Slot have been sacked and I know there is no smoke without fire. Maybe the management are already contemplating relieving him of his job. I think the disgraced rhet received from Manchester City is the last straw gor the management of the team to act because they might want to prevent a situation where Liverpool fails to qualify for champions league.

If the Liverpool management doesn't act fast in their approach, they might be tilting towards not qualifying for the champions league. Although football comes with different surprises so the management might want to endure the fact that probably this season is not theirs, despite the huge amount they spend in getting new players, so I won't be surprised if the Liverpool management decide to still retain his contract with the hope that he will do better in the future.

Then that certainly will be the starting line of the down fall, like going for another decades without a trophy because i can clearly tell that this man Arne Slot really has nothing to offer to the Liverpool team and the earlier the management act on that the better for them, and as it stands now i Don't see any possibilities of Liverpool making it to the UEFA Champions league comes next season because the Aston villa and Manchester united I'm seeing now is not willing to drop for anyone to climb, besides that Manchester united only needs 10 point out of the remaining matches to secure their place in the UEFA Champions league so where is that Liverpool having the chance to go there?

What I think that happened to erling haaland is the departure of Kevin de bruyne, his absence at Manchester City was really felt by erling haaland because he is the guy that always spot the dangerous runs of erling haaland in the opposition half, so as it stands, only few players at Manchester City take heed of his runs, so it's one of the main reasons he is struggling with form, but I believe that if the services start coming like the days of Kevin de bruyne, he will definitely deliver as he always does.
As for their title hopes, since their destiny is not in their hands, all they can do is to hope that arsenal fumble along the way, while winning their own games consistently, because anything can still happen.

Kevin De Bruyne, who used to feed Haaland goals, is absent. Therefore, he hasn't been able to provide his best offensive contribution this year. He has still scored a lot of goals, but expectations were much higher. He hadn't scored for a long time until he started scoring in recent matches. The Norwegian striker is one of the best number 9’s in the Premier League and the world. However, Manchester City isn't using him effectively this year. Perhaps the lack of depth in midfield is the reason for this.

If you consider how things are done in the EPL, then you should understand that any manager in his shoes would be probably uncomfortable due to his performance this season compared to what he did when he first took over from Jürgen Klopp a couple of seasons ago, to be sincere, Arne slot's Liverpool performed below expectations loosing out of every competition this season including the recent one which happens to be the FA cup which could have been the only competition that Liverpool could have given to their fans this season if they hadn't been eliminated by Manchester city.

Well their major problem this season is failing to keep possession like they always do, we all know how pep normally defend, he defends by denying the opponent to play the ball. This season when you check out over 80% of their games they barley out Posses their opponent and I’m not even talking about the big team I’m taking about the average teams in the league.

Well we all know the premier league is very difficult because every opponent is always trying to explore you weakness but for me this Manchester city team this season Is amongst the worst team I have seen pep coached. City are now at a good level, they have won two games in a row against Arsenal and Liverpool. If the tournament started today, I would put them above both Arsenal and Liverpool. There can be no complaints about Haaland - he has been consistently good in the national team this season, which means that the decline in results is more due to the club than to him. As for the prospects (next season), City will definitely find the money to replace anyone.

With the way things are going Arsenal might lose out of the title race too. Manchester City are just waiting for one more lose in the league and then winning their next clash with Arsenal while working on reclaiming the top position back from Arsenal. Arsenal winning 5 matches is not a certainty considering how they are flipping recently. Of their remaining 7 matches they have City and Newcastle to play and both games I am certain Arsenal will pull out 3 points from them. It seems Arteta has run out of ideas to maintain his winnings for the rest of the season.

Tottenham will escape relegation this season not because they played very well in the last 8 matches, they will escape relegation because other team behind them at the top or at the bottom will lose games that will keep Tottenham above them. It seems you don't know how poor Tottenham team is. The team is destroyed, with 8 matches to go, the time is too short for revival. Big team like Tottenham is striving to avoid relegation instead of chasing top 4.

What do you think would happen if Tottenham loses most of their remaining league matches? Outright relegation for them I guess, and the only way to avoid such a situation is to accept responsibility by winning at least five of the remainder of those games in hand and that is why the management thought it wise to bring in a manager who's capable to leading the team out relegation with his wealth of experience, even if those teams below Tottenham lose  their games it still might not be easy for Tottenham if they do no ensure that they take in some points to help the team stay afloat, this is simple, if they have to survive then they have to play well and get good results now.

Well, it's pretty obvious. Things are not as rosy and smooth for Haaland with the departure of Kevin De Bruyne from the club. De Bruyne was an amazing player that dominated the midfield and made some good openings and passes for Haaland to finish and Haaland,  most times, doesn't disappoint as he has helped Man city secure wins with his goal scoring prowess.

That's one of Pep's error in this transfer window, not finding someone that could replace Debruyne, the rest of the players they bought are fantastic but they're not playmaker like Debruyne that would help bring out the best in Haaland, Pep is supposed to know that the kind of striker he has is not someone like Harry Kane or Osimhen that doesn't rely on playmaker to thrive so he should've signed a player that would give support to Haaland.

We need to compare Luverpool form with Chelsea before we can conclude if they can face PSG in the Champions League. I don't think since the beginning of the season Liverpool has done much that Chelsea has done. Most often, they have disappointed us than we tolerated them but they loss to PSG, there is no way Liverpool are getting out from the claws of PSG, those guys doesn't just score goals, they rain goals anytime they meet teams.

If I were Liverpool, I will focus on trying to finish the season among the top 4 so they can have another chance of coming back to the Champions League but as it is now, Liverpool has to pray for Aston Villa to fall so they can take the fourth place on the table, that's not enough though, the team has to make sure they win every game from now so they can have much point to take the place otherwise they are as nothing as they were in the last two season.

Arsenal are currently 9 points better than Manchester City having played a game more and that means that Arsenal's lead will be reduced to 6 points should the Manchester club win their outstanding game. With 7 more games remaining, I strongly doubt that Mikel Arteta after everything he's done to be where they are at the moment will miss the chance of winning the league this season.
After losing to City in the final of the Caraboa Cup and getting eliminated from the English FA Cup by Southampton, I know it'll likely have a negative effect on the mentality of the team but I honestly think they'll win the league this season

Arsenal have always been like this in the recent years! Some people get angry when people say this but it's the truth...

They play early season really good. The best among all. Mid-season effort is also okay but things start changing right after that. Every time it happens.

But the thing is they are luckier than Manchester City in terms of next PL fixtures. Let's see if they fail despite this advantage.

Failure shouldn't be the word used,  it should be inconsistency, and if you're to blame you do to the manager not the players who have played too many games more than any other clubs in the last two seasons. They're not failures just inconsistency they've faced especially with their absent defenders before signing Guéhi from Crystal Palace. Erling Haaland is also not the problem, he gets man marked too often and it affects his game. Everyone can be replaced and they can always do without the best.
