Carrick still keeps his amazing run at Manchester United... They have already secured the 3rd place for themselves. He definitely deserved that contract extension!

Now it's time to look forward for them. If Carrick can do this with a kind of average squad I wonder what he can do with a better one. I hope the board act according to Carrick's plans as for summer transfers.

I have always been of the opinion that Carrick deserves to be Manchester United’s manager. I was watching the game yesterday and I could see the belief and confidence in the players even when they conceded, they didn’t look beat (like they did under previous managers). It’s obvious that Carrick has brought back the winning mentality to the club, it would be a shame if the owners do not give him the players he wants in the transfer window.

Next season is definitely gonna be one interesting season in the English premier League, like we gonna have some great challenges, all big six teams will be up and doing, mostly Chelsea that are likely to play just once a week, and with the kind of manager they have now, I really think they'll be something else comes next season, because Xabi Alonso is a coach that has one way or the other prove himself in two different league, but the English premier League is quite different from the rest but let's just wait and watch how things go with him in the English premier League.

I think he can keep up with the competition in the Premier League. Xabi is a very high-quality and good manager. We remember his successful periods. They took the Bundesliga title from Bayern Munich. That in itself is a great achievement. However, I think he was unfairly sacked at Real Madrid. He could have done better things there, but he didn't have enough time. Chelsea acted quickly and brought him to the team, which I think was a smart move because if the Liverpool manager position had become vacant, he probably would have started there.

The best thing is just to double their lead so that they will have more breathing space in the game because a one nil win isn't safe at all as anything can happen with one set piece or counter attack from the opposing team most especially a team that has already been relegated, they have nothing there are playing for so they would just be there to spoil things for the other teams and that's one of the reason why arsenal need to double their win.

I wouldn’t say they’re struggling they are already one leg into winning the game and are also playing well, they might also add  another  goal though Burnley is proving stubborn but it seems Arsenal are on a path to lifting the title this time around.

At this point, if the game ends in the favour of Arsenal as it's like, I think Arsenal has done about 98% of the Job, The trophy is most likely going to be theirs this season, and no doubt Arsenal have been quite consistent in fighting for this trophy 🏆 for the past 3 seasons but due to they've lack the ability to withstand pressure towards the end of the season, they ended up missing out the couple of seasons they should have won this trophy.

This Arsenal game started off with a stubborn Burnley trying to prove to themselves that they can break the hearts of the home team, but because of the mounting pressure, Burnley could not hold on any more and Arsenal found the back of the net ..now game is still going with only 1 goal to show for and don't expect more to come.. and playing from the Emirates I don't see the Gunners losing this game either.. well-done Arsenal

Sincerely speaking Arsenal needs to be cautious, This 1-0 they are currently winning Burnley is not enough, in this second half, Burnley have shown some resistance, they've been pushing back more, although it's over 70 minutes of play, so is either hold on till the end, or they score another goal, but for me, I'm not comfortable with this 1-0 winning, anything can happen because Burnley too are struggling to go out of relegation zone, so to them, this game is must win . I've not been enjoying the scoring pattern of Arsenal lately, they struggle so much to score even just one goal in their recent games, making the pressure always on them as they need much goal advantage in as much as they need the points.

There's little time left in the match and I think Arsenal's lead will last until the end, but the fact that they only scored one goal is a disappointment for me. Because they couldn't establish a significant advantage against a relegated team and they'll be going to the Champions League final. There they'll face Paris Saint-Germain and they need to learn how to score more goals. We know Arsenal really want the championship. So far this year things seem to be going well and there's only one match left.

Chelsea just signed a new coach which we all expect him to change Chelsea performance, Alonso should be given opportunity to sign players which he believes will improve the team’s performance. Since Chelsea will be playing once in a week, then Alonso will have enough time to train with the players, and they not going to be so stressed, they just going to focus on the premier league.

Everyone’s expectation is already so high on Xabi Alonso, I just hope he won’t end up performing below people’s expectation, but with the kind of coach which Xabi Alonso is, if he is given all the necessary support from the management, am sure he will perform well at Chelsea.

Arsenal continues to decrease the hope of Manchester City as they have gotten all three points in tonight's game against Burnley. It was a victorious 90 minutes with an important goal as they were able to defend their lead.

The ball is currently in Manchester City court. If Manchester City fails to win Bournemouth tomorrow, Arsenal will become champions tomorrow night because they're currently five points behind Arsenal.

A club legend who understands the Dna of the club and wants to see them successful. Too much said about him already. Chelsea right now lands a solid manager for their squad.
All he need will be three to four signatures and he will turn them into tittle challenging side again just as he repaired Bayer Leverkusen and took them the Europa League finals and also winning the Bundesliga Liga. A whole lot of youngins will benefit from this Xabi Alonso management.
He has been announced already as manager, I don't know if he will be in charge next game against Tottenham Hotspur. Thoughts??!

Xabi Alonso's tenure is going to start from next season for the last two games of this season. Most likely, Calum McFarlane will be taking care of it as interim coach. There are already too many changes under Todd Boehly, but no improvement.

This is going to be an interesting change because most people are positive about this. Chelsea came down drastically but now needs time to fight back and have good results. Chelsea has enough youngsters that things could be on a good level, but here Xabi Alonso needs good support from them because his Real Madrid spell was not good just because of not having good support from players. Now it's a challenging time for both the club and the new coach.

To nobody's surprise, Burnley were not able to stop Arsenal as the Gunners earned a modest 1-0 win. We didn't see too many goals, but it was still a one-sided show.
Arsenal are, in the worst-case scenario, one win away from winning the league after over 20 years of waiting. They are playing away against Crystal Palace on Sunday. Palace are on 6 league games without a win streak, so not doing that great.

But I think it's quite likely that Arsenal might start celebrating tomorrow. Man City need to win a difficult away game against 6th Bournemouth, who still have a chance of achieving the top 5 and qualifying for the Champions League next season. It will not be an easy game for the Citizens, and a draw won't cut it. They need 3 points.

Arsenal's victory today was indeed an unexpected one because with the way the game was going,  I was so disappointed, given up and believing already the game may end in a draw but Arsenal finally made it off the point division by securing a narrow win to secure some more comfortable lead off Manchester City that are some points away from them. My conclusion on the game is, today is truly a lucky day for Arsenal if not sorry would have been there only talk at last.

I know this match is going to be a tough game for Arsenal because despite Burnley poor performances, they actually gave Arsenal a tough game. Arsenal was lucky to net a goal in the first half, if not, it would have been a different story for them because Burnley aims was to defend throughout this match and they actually did so, it's just that they couldn't keep the pressure to the end because Arsenal really mounted them with the pressure.

Arsenal should get prepare because Crystal Palace match will be tougher than this, because their focus that day is to stop Arsenal winning the Premier League title. 5 points different between Arsenal and Manchester City now and City will face Bournemouth tomorrow which is going to be an interesting match, if they fail to win Bournemouth, automatically Arsenal will be crown as Premier League champions.

Scoring so many goals are not necessary for Gunners currently rather they are focusing on the key thing which is defended to ensure they get al three points and continue to remain at the top in their final game, then they can be victor finally after so many years, although this might be more sudden if City drop points even more.

Manchester City, doesn't seem like they will drop points at this time they need it the most, arsenal had 2 jobs today and they only did 1, they got three points good, but they failed to accumulate goals to secure the future, i wouldn't completely blame them because burnley's defence was very strong today, and if not for that set piece I'm not sure arsenal would have won the match, but the big question now is that, is this how they want to play Crystal Palace?

The current Arsenal team understand how to place fans under severe pressure, why play Burnley 1:0 after scoring in the first 45 minutes? The tension was there till the end of the game, Arsenal, by now, should endeavor to score more goals to relax the minds of spectators, though they were trying to be careful, but then all that single goal kind of win could be dangerous during injury times. Congrats, however, to the gunners.
